San jose police get a b plus for the work. It is the job of the auditor, a retired superior court judge to look for deficiencies. In the latest analysis, San Jose Police are criticized for not recognizing biases as it serves a community 2 3 minority. We dont need to put our heads in the sand. Look at the numbers. Reporter these are the numbers. 192 allegations of bias by police over the past five years. Every single one of them was dismissed. A key recommendation is revise how San Jose Police conducts the internal investigations which are not released to the public under state law. The judge would like to see deeper questioning of the officer and coworkers to detect bias. This is what i hope. The recent bias case in San Francisco was supported by comments made in email. We learned the penalty phase for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will start april 21st. That part of the trial will happen after this years marathon on april 20th. On wednesday the jury found tsarnaev guilty on 30 counts, including conspiracy and use of a weapon of mass destruction. 17 of the charges are punishable by death. The man charged with shooting and killing a u. S. Census Bureau Security guard in maryland yesterday pleaded guilty to manslaughter back in 1991. Ronald anderson was charged last month in an assault case in what was described as a visibly afraid girlfriend. Anderson kidnapped his wife and shot and killed the federal guard and led officers on a chase to washington, d. C. His crime spree ended in a shootout leaving anderson and officer injured. More trouble for the secret service. An agent is under arrest. The agent is facing charges for destruction of property in washington, d. C. Now it is not clear what was destroyed.
