Reporter larry, we saw thousands of folks marching tonight. Take a look, tonight San Francisco city hall lit with the colors of the transgender pride flag. Police provided safety during the march tonight but not everybody was mahappy about tha when do we want em . Now reporter thousands on the move through San Francisco to celebrate transgender equality. Billy cooper is feeling a lot of solidarity. Being a transgender woman is every day life for me. It is it encourages me to wake up every morning and to be a better person. Reporter many say this years trans march is more important than ever. This is a year we need to be visible. Reporter raffi simington says transgender rights are not a priority for the trump administration. The climate of heat and fear is frightening to me. Reporter the Police Presence at t march was hard to miss. Every available cop will be on duty for weekend pride festivities to keep crowds safe. But this group does not agree. Police pride. Reporter why . To keep our community safer. Reporter until recently the web side told attendees not to be friendly to cops. That information has been removed. A lot of people i know and care about have been told by the cops they have to move along because they assume to be sex workers. Reporter supervisor jeff shehee says the climate is changing. All of our communities have had challenges with the police, the police and Law Enforcement has evolved over time. Reporter the march was peaceful, but for others it was much more, inclusive, powerful and visible. It is a matter of solidarity to be out here today. Police used social media as one tool and netted nearly 3,000 pounds of fireworks. People we talked with said thats probably just a drop in the bucket. This is cellphone video of fireworks being set off in a neighborhood in san jose. It is illegal, and this man loves it. We usually have a big party every year and basically, you know, follow our traditions like everybody else does in the United States and set off fireworks. Reporter he says he will never stop, but San Jose Police are cracking down. Officers seized 2700 pounds of fireworks between april and june, including three, four and fiveinch mortars considered explosives. It is really loud, it is does frighten the dog, it frightens the children. Reporter the seizure is at least some good news for this woman who has called police about fireworks in the past. I think it is great and theres no way they have gotten them all because i hear people setting off fireworks every night already. Reporter it started out as a normal flight from oakland to chicago on june 6th for Susan Anderson and her daughter kimberly omansky, who were en route to visit family. Halfway through the light there was an urge nlt announcement. Is there a doctor or a nurse on this plane . Theres an emergency. Reporter Susan Anderson says her daughter kimberly, a registered nurse, was the only licensed medical professional on the flight. A middle age women went into anaphalactic shock, a lighten threatening reaction. She could not breathe, was struggling and feeling ill and shutting down. It was a dire emergency. Reporter the pilot prepared for an Emergency Landing as the flight crew pulled out a first aid kit with off grand epipens in it. First one anderson says did not work, the second one finally did and the woman started breathing. Another passenger offered benadryl. They called my daughter an angel. She was truly an angel. She saved a life . She saved a life and she knew it. It was i was so proud of her. Reporter anderson says her daughter is traveling out of the country now. Police in the east bay have arrested four women accused of stealing 3,000 worth of clothing from victorias secret. Walnut creek police say the women robbed the Broadway Plaza location of the lingerie change and another store in concord.
