Scott is seen standing in the parking lot. Then the 43yearold is seen mortally wounded as police advance with guns drawn. Officers appear to administer first aid. Hold the wound. Reporter Police Confirmed this gun pictured at the scene is the gun they say they recovered from scott. Based on the totality of what we see, he was in possession of a handgun. Reporter Police Release third down photo of what they say is scotts gun and an ankle holster they say he was wearing. They say what they found at the scene allegedly matches scotts dna and blood. Family continues to cast doubt. He doesnt lunge at the officers. He has his hands by his side. Again, there is no definitive evidence in this video as to whether or not there is an object in his hand. Reporter the streets of charlotte swelled with protesters for a fifth night. Officers stayed on the move and blocked them from reaching nearby highways. Several times protesters blocked 14th and broadway. The only reported area was a man accused of flashing a laser pointer at a police chopper. Earlier today abc7 news was at oaklands moss wood park as members of the Community Came together for a group bike ride. It was called riding while black to promote unity, and peace within the movement. They dont want to label it a protest or demonstration. Its a bike ride, just a pike ride where black people are gathering and being healthy and together. The group road through the city stopping in historically black neighborhoods. We have developing news about the Deadly Washington mall shooting. Tonight investigators have a suspect in custody. 20yearold arcan cetin is suspected of killing four women and one man at a macys last night. Surveillance pictures led to tips. One tip helped them identify a suspect vehicle. They tracked him down and he didnt put up a fight. I recognized him as the person i viewed on my computer. It shows the man get out of his car. Police released photos of a gun, hollister and marijuana joint they said scott had on him at the time. North carolina is an open carry state. Protesters marched.
