Dan and ama, the bay area is roasting in the heat. The coast was the only exception in San Francisco. Let me show you what has changed. Those areas were cooler because of the fog that has moved in and the sea breeze. This fog will continue to advance toward the coastline as we head toward tomorrow morning. Highs today the record is tied, san rafael 100 and gilroy is 104 degrees. It was 107 in antioch and livermore and 96 in san jose and 102 in santa rosa. Half moon bay, 73 degrees. Tomorrow except for the coast in San Francisco all areas under the heat advisory from 11 00 a. M. Until 7 00 p. M. There is relief on the way for the inland communities. Today the students were sent home before the midday heat hit. More than half of the classrooms dont have air conditioning. Their Attorney Says artists at the intermission sf art space signed a buyout agreement that they didnt understand and will likely get less than 90 of the money they agreed to. They want to build a large apartment complex here, but put the plan on hold amid the affordable units and displacement of artists.
