M. On saturday morning she woke up to her cell phone ringing. The caller was 19yearold vasquez. He was really worried. He said i need you to help me. I need you to come over here and help me. She was in berkeley and he was lost in los angeles. Several minutes later he called again and static breaking up the connection. He said im screwed. He was confused and i said contact your friends. He said okay, fine. And then he hung up the phone. No one has seen or heard from vasquez since. Earlier in the night vasquez attended a party at a fraternity on uscs campus with some of his berkeley teammates. Through face time vasquezs cousin told us about the end of the night. He told his friends he wanted to go to run to the beach, but they were trying to stop him saying thats 15 miles away. Thats not a good plan. He didnt listen to them and went off. They say thats out of character for vasquez. Hes a great kid. He is one of my best friends.
