According to the Sacramento Bee mcdone malleds fiancee showed officers bruises on her neck and arm. He was arrested without further incident on fell intoe domestic domestic on felony Domestic Violence charges. He posted bond and was released. Mcdonald is the first nfl player to be arrested since commissioner Roger Goodells announcement on thursday of tougher penalties that deal with Domestic Violence. According to a letter he sent to all team owners the first offense would mean an automatic sixgame suspension and a second would be dismissal from the league. Goodell said more severe penalties for a first offense would be considered for violence involving a weapon, choking, repeated striking or when the act is committed against a pregnant woman or in the presence of a child. Officer officers were originally called for a noise disturbance. Mcdonald was hosting a loud party on saturday night and lots of cars lining the streets. Police in pittsburgh are looking for the driver of a silver pick up truck after a deadly hitandrun tonight. It happened just before 7 00 at willow pass and loftis road. The victim is a 50yearold bay view woman. Witnesses say the driver hit a light pole and dragged it two blocks down the street. Police are still looking for the driver described only as an adult man. A half hour later in San Francisco a pedestrian was hit by a car. The accident happened about 7 30 at market and stewart. Police say one person was injured, but he is expected to be okay. A witness reported seeing the pedestrian cog one car before being hit. The driver is cooperating with police. San Francisco Police are investigating a case of animal cruelty tonight. They say just after 10 00, someone shot a dog along olmstead street in the visitation valley district. Officers say the dog was rushed to an animal hospital. No word on its condition. Near the scene police took a man into custody and confiscated a gun, but they are not saying who owns the gun or why they arrested the man.
