Com app. A driver is in custody after a high speed chase that topped 110 miles an hour. It ended with a crash at highway 85 and the union avenue offramp in san jose. The chase started when officers tried to pull over the car on 280 near hillsboro after they saw that it was stolen. The driver took off and flew south down 280 and on to 85 before crashing into a house. Officers say the driver tried to run but they caught it. No one in the home was hurt. It is hard to believe, but a would be robber broke into an 81yearold womans home today and shot her. It happened during a Home Invasion at laguna avenue and potomac street.
