For the amount of shots that were fired, were quite lucky that this could have been much more serious. How many shots . Several shots. Funding has been set aside to buy and install more cameras in Contra Costa County where most have happened. It is a partnership with the state and local officials. So the details of where and when those cameras will be in place are still being negotiated. But Officials Say, they need drivers to help out too. New details now about an east bay dental assistant accused of molesting at least five young girls while on the job. 24yearold Alejandro Saro was scheduled to stand trial this week, but he decided over the weekend to take a plea deal instead. Saro pleaded guilty to five felony counts of child molestation. Hes scheduled to be sentenced on september 22nd, he faces 25 years to life in prison. Reporter the number of visitors theyre expecting is so large in some cities theyre preempively declaring a state of disaster. It allows them to call in the National Guard to help direct the masses of people. Reporter the state of oregon alone is expected to see a million visitors. Some hospitals are cancelling elective surgeries, and calling in extra help for the emergency rooms. The seven Million People traveling to see the eclipse across 12 states will definitely be going into towns and different areas that are not accustomed to seeing this inflex of people.
