It caught fire in the far right lane heading westbound on the eastern span. Firefighters had the fire out in about 20 minutes but not before it caused a major backup and sent thick, black smoke billowing into the air. No word yet on injuries or a cause. New this morning, a construction site in San Francisco has just been deemed safe by the sfpd after a bomb threat. The call came in around 7 30 this morning at the site. Opponents of the warriors proposed mission bay arena are putting forward a new alternative in San Francisco this morning.
