We begin with terry moran ot the scene of the dramatic shootout in brussels. Reporter tonight, these stark images, bomb technicians in head to toe protective gear capturing the tension in the city as Police Execute a dramatic takedown. A neighbors shaky cell phone video caught the moment. Officers with their guns trained on this man lying amid the shattered glass of a tram stop. They have shot him twice in the leg. Apparently thinking hes a terrorist. Eyewitnesses are telling us that the man was here at the tram stop with a child. They say down this platform, police came with long guns. They dont seem to be ordinary traffic cops. Something happens and they shoot him twice, even though he is with a child. A young girl. Police beckon to her and she goes to them. The neighbors anguished as they record it all. Mama mama reporter the man lies on the ground motionless, still clutching his bag as a bomb disposal robot draws near. Then three masked officers approach, grabbing the wounded man by his arms and dragging him off to their waiting car. Afterwards, the bomb disposal expert scours the tram tracks. Belgian Authorities Say this was an antiterror operation. But tonight, thats all theyll say. They wont identify the man. Gracia meta, who shot much of the video from her window, tells me the man yelled at police he was innocent. He kept saying, i have nothing, this is for nothing . Yes, she says, this is what really hurt me. Todays operation took place just two miles from this building which the terrorists used as bomb factory. Now a view inside, the apartment stripped bare. A shattered ipad on the table. Authorities removed 30 pounds of explosives, a suitcase of nails and screws, likely shrapnel for bombs. They also removed an isis flag. This new video from inside the airport shows the full power of those explosives. The place in flames, the floor littered with ceiling tiles. Today, belgium confirmed that the man on the left, najim laachraoui, also built the suicide vests used in the paris attacks last year. He blew himself up at the airport, along with the man next to him. But this man wearing the tan jacket and the black hat . American authorities were able to identify him, but hes still at large. And so is another suspected attacker from the subway bombing. Tonight, a massive manhunt is under way. But people here arent sure that their government is up to the job. This jetblue commuter plane with 97 onboard approaching the nassau, bahamas airport with a problem. Its nose landing gear is not down, just barely sticking out of the fuselage. With the rear gear on the runway, the pilot slows as much as possible before finally letting the nose without a wheel scrape unto the pavement. Airport Emergency Responders evacuated the plane, and medical personnel evaluated the passengers. Jetblue said in a statement to abc news, there are no reports of injuries. Tsa officials confirm they scanned her crew member badge, which cleared her through security. She was then randomly selected for secondary screening. Thats when reynolds, a former track runner, sprinted, leaving her heels and roughly 3 million of cocaine behind. The officer did not chase her, saying his primary concern was that her luggage could have contained explosives. The next morning, authorities had not identified her. She showed up for her scheduled shift with jetblue, and surprisingly was able to fly to new york. Reporter she will remain in custody while waiting for a bail hearing.
