begins shooting. we can't see who he is shooting but there were plenty of shots fired. the gunman drives away. >> travel ground to a halt today at san francisco international airport because of what one had in her baggage. passengers lined up after a partial shut down for delta airlines. mack matthews is here with the story. mark? >> 17 minutes after 11:00 an elderly woman in a wheelchair was going through security in terminal one. suspicious package said one of the inspector skpez called for back up. it escalated from there. whatever was in the suitcase police didn't want anyone near the front of terminal one. >> there is people that went down to the gate quickly. >> and then, the bomb squad arrived and passengers called airlines and families. >> your fight is being held. >> there was an e mail telling him airport was on lock down. only delta was affected. the bomb squad, delay dragged into a second hour this,st first time ashley left her 9-month-old. >> now i'm trying to get home again, hopefully before home. >> 1200 passengers were impacted and one of them los angeles mayor an tony villaraigosa. >> we've been waiting to get into the terminal. i think flights are delayed. >> he and most people took it in stride. then, suddenly the bomb experts said it was over. the package an oxygen bottle. >> what made it suspicious is that she couldn't answer questions about what was in the bag because she said she wasn't the one that packed it. so that triggered a red flag. they did what they're supposed to do. >> on top not knowing what is the bag the elderly woman told her an iranian cab driver brought her to the airport and loaded the bag into the trunk. and one of the 1200 passengers were not happy. >> it took off. they won't rebook us, now. we're sitting on a red eye. >> there a spokesman says eight to 10 flights were impacted and the back up from flights is going to be several hours before they can get it cleared out, airport spokesman says he thinks everything will be sorted by 6:00 tonight. >> sheriff ross mirkarimi back in court on charges of domestic violence. prosecutors were fighting a motion to throw out a video showing mirkarimi's wife, these are still shots of the video seen for the first time today. the video taken by a neighbor showing a tearful lopez showing her bruises. in the video she apparently described how her husband grabbed her arm on new year's eve. her lawyers say the video should be considered hearsay. prosecutors sate contains spontaneous remarks that should be add missible. abc 7 asked the sheriff about being reunited with in february. >> that fire as a name. they're calling it soda fire. controlled burn began here. this is the point of ignition. the police tape marks a spot. it was a land owner burning off some brush
