middle of it all night long and we're live where it began. what's the latest? >> reporter: the latest is that the protesters ended their march. they're back in the plaza. the march was very loud very large, and fairly peaceful until an hour ago. that's when we heard that there were reports of protesters breaking through police lines and police having trouble rounding them up and some tense moments. we had reports the being picture window at the oakland police department recruiting office was shattered earlier this evening. now, all this began after "occupy" oakland held what they call a speakout on police brutality. tonight, crowd that numbered close to 1,000 people gathered. they held an open mic on police pew -- brutality. >> people talking about ther and yebsz they had for years living in this city dealing with brutality from the police. >> a couple dozen people spoke out about the police action that left scott olsen and seven police officers ininjured. sean collins listened so the speeches. >> a huge range overs being -- range of issues being discussed. and i think it's great, and people talk about issues. >> the crowd marched out of the plaza and on to broadway and 14th street, and came face to face with police officers. they tried to circle around the officers by going washington street. here protesters jekylled chanted, cheered, and insulted police, but no one was physically violent. as the group marked back up broadway, he says he doesn't understand specifically what they want. >> if they had the right issues they have to get something done. this is for them right now. there's so many of them. >> reporter: as far as we know there have been no arrests. there have been some changes to the "occupy oakland" camp. there are now more tents. we saw more tents going up after all the tents were cleared up a few days ago. the tents now number more than 30. also, there are now port a pottize on the plaza. obama oakland says they were supplied mayor quan's office supporting her concern for their health. >> meanwhile filmmaker michael moore ruffleled some feathers out highland hospital. officials say he showed up unannounced and up invited hoping to visit scott ol' senior but the hopped says olsen had already checked out and moore disrupted the trauma city. >> we cant have celebrities disrupting our focus. we have a very polite message to mr. moore. mr. olsen is not here but if you find out where he is, the olsen family doesn't want you to come there either. >> a spokesman says olsen's insurance carrier wanted him to transfer to another hospital. >> mikeol moore visited "occupy" san francisco encampment. we're live with details on arrangements the group made with the city to keep the camp clean and safe. >> reporter: a little earlier this week there was some concerns between the "occupy" group here because they were worried that the san francisco police were going to actually sweep through and dismantle their camp. but this evening there are dozens of tents still standing. and today was camp cleanup day. there were crews that came through and power-washed a portion of the camp. part of that apparent agreement between occupiers and city hall. on this balmy saturday night, the "occupy" camp is bustling with activity and the kitchen tent is churning out food for the 300 or so campers. the kitchen and tens are still here because of an understanding the occupiers say they made with the mayor's office. >> if we're left alone and can work with the city, we can get more organized, we can -- i was in military 20 years. i know you can have a safe and sap tear field kitchen. it's absolutely possible. >> reporter: as part of the understanding the department of public works came through and steam cleaned the concrete under half the camp. first the occupiers moved tents ahead of the crews. >> we did that because we had the confidence we could move back and there wasn't going to be action and there was no talk about you can't have tents. >> filmmaker michael moore made a quick appearance at the camp before hundreds of marchers took to the streets. the tents were thanks to the public. this man supports the "occupy" group because he is concerned of the corporate. >> we experienced british colonialism, which is one big corporation called the east india company shutting down the industries in neal. >> along with medical supplies he donated food and water. if it was an earl effort by police to enforce the rule for no tents. >> a spokesperson for the mayor says the aagreement is tear and the mayor is still opposed to tents and a field kitchen staying at this park indefinitely. she says they're also expected to have a meeting with a delegation of the "occupy" group on monday. reporting live in san safety concerns. city workers closed the access point that he used to reach the rooftop where he is camping. >> on to the south bay where a shark attack has a surfer recovering in a san jose hospital. the shark attacked 27-year-old eric tarantino this morning at moreno state beach. it's believed the great white shark bit him on the dismek forearm and left a huge bitemark in his surf boardle he swam back to shore where fellow surfers tried to stop his bleeding with talls. >> he said call 9-1-1. he was a couple feet away from me and his arm was bleeding badly. >> he ran up the beach right here and funeral in two weeks. another roar of motorcycles along the street in san jose. this tomorrow they came to bury 52-year-old steve thompson. the last time he was here at oak hills cemetery, he was shot to death at the tune roofl another hells angels biker. >> it's kind of sad it had to go that way. steve was very well-known person very respected amongst the community. and he was a good family man. and i hate to see them do anything to damage the name of the hells angels. >> reporter: police had large presence as well. even greater than last time although officials would not give numbers. officers roped off parking lots at the cemetery across from the cemetery, and a credit union decided not to open today. customers were greeted by a notice on the door. the loud progression of bikers brought out spectators. >> like the blue angels. the is noise, perfect. >> there was less commotion than the funeral two weeks ago, at the funeral for jeffrey pettigrew. during his burial someone shot steve tauson. today tauson was laid to rest on a hilltop on the other side of the cemetery from the grave site where he was murdered two saturdays ago. >> still focusing on the fact there might be outside groups coming in to cause a problem although we had no credible information that would occur exhibit wasn't beyond the possible there might be flix within the same group. >> earlier in the day a thousand people gather for a church service before heading to the cemetery. despite the palm, a motorcycle gang experts fears the troubles might not be over. >> the rivalry is going to continue. front of the theater. days later two workers came to fix their sign. one told the family he had recently been robbed at gunpoint. a few hours pass and two men in plain clothes walk into the theater calling out the robbery victim's name. >> did they ever say we're police to you? >> they did not. >> they take the worker past the counter and into the darkened theater. >> i looked at my mom and said, we don't know these two guys. they could be killing him robbing him. we had no idea. i said we need to call dad. >> dan dillman rushes back to the theater and confronts the men. >> can you please tell me what you're doing here? he said no, i'm the police. i took a deep breath, okay. if you're the police, please show me your badge picture d., your business card because there's been pg&e -- been police posing as police and robbing them. >> he escorted the sign work outside. >> i came out here with my cell phone. >> he says he took pictures to give police so they could catch the men he thought were robbers. >> i'm popping the picture of the passenger, and he throws his hand in front of his face. then he just swings the door open, and i start backing up and he is jumping out saying i'm going to show you the full extent of the law. >> i ran to the front door and that's when i saw them beating him up and jumping on him and beating him and him getting beat up. >> i was crying, really like, what is happening, man? his son josh hit the silent alarm. >> i have a silent home alarm. >> 9-1-1 emergency. >> his daughter called 9-1-1. >> i need help. >> what's going on? >> guys beating up my men who african-american guys. >> the men who turned out to be an al media county sergeant and a detective who were there to show a photo lineup to the victim. their report said dillman was interfering with their investigation and he blocked them from leaving the theater and re cysted arrest so they had to strike him to get him to comply with our demands. >> i know my deputies are telling mel the truth. anybody that refutes that is not being truthful. >> they arrested dillman for battery upon an officer and restrict, disrupt or delay of police officer, punish punishable by up to a year in jail. he had a sprained wrist bruised nick and a scrapes and bruises. dillman filed a claim with the sheriff's department. >> made some type of false claims against my deputies, and i want to prove my deputies did everything they're supposed to do in the course of their normal duties. >> dillman i claiming excesstive force and the detectives lied in their reports. the decree detectives wrote they showed i.d. cars and asked for and received permission from gina dillman to take the robbery victim in the theater. rolled down their window and warned dillman to cause interference. >> it was just a full on ass whooping. >> and anyone in our agency found to be untruthful and lying, in an official police report, is fired. >> dillman's trial is set for next month, and both sign workers are willing to testify. in fact the second sign worker signed this letter saying both detectives refused to provide identification, they began to knee and punch mr. dillman while he was on the ground and continued to knee him even after he was in handcuffs. dillman did nothing to provoke the attack. i have a new blog at abc7news.com with a letter from the first worker, the robbery victim who was also critical of the detectives. for the eye team, abc-7 news. >> in florida, a miami police officer took the highway patrol on a 120 miles-per-hour chase. officer lopez was arrested at gunpoint after leading the highway patrol on a pursuit while driving his patrol car. according to police report trooper spotted the patrol car changing lanes in a dangerous manner. when another one. and all the actress does it. you see the emwheres and oscars and they pan the audience and you see these actresses smacking on the gum. i would say probably the biggest one is the phone -- >> what would you tell somebody? what's the proper etiquette? >> recently i was on a train and a woman was having a very loud personal conversation behind me. i was like don't want to know about your permanent life. so -- personal life and i just gave her the evil eye and that was enough. she went, and she realized she was talking too loud and turned it down. i think if you just give a
