Then I should have opened my eyes to see if I could have seen or I felt so guilty for not being there when she passed. And then the really weird one that your producer really liked was I was in the kitchen of my house with my sister and 2 friends in fact I've talked to my mom and my friends today about being on the show they all remember the story of course and the kitchen had a partition so you could see into the living room and we had the radio on rollout and my mom worked night work so it was night my mom work night work an hour away we all heard the door open and my mom yell Hello the whole radio turned down we went into the living room and the knob was physically turned down the door was still locked my mom was not there I called her on our way and she was like No I'm. In Connecticut Hey Todd welcome to the show George it's a real honor to be on I've been a faithful listeners thank you 94 well thank you sir you go way back to the beginning we have said to many a nights that goes get me going on the late night shifts I love it thank you so what you got for us this story starts in February of 1966 more you remember the month the date and everything here we go well the story was told to me many many times by my parents over the years haha I was born into Venture 65 those 2 months early and back in those days if you were a preemie you went right into an incubator for 6 days a week that's true and when mom was finally able to bring me home my dad was home on leave from Vietnam he was an Air Force combat medic and he was stationed at Thompson Air Force Base in North Carolina then we lived on base housing and when they brought me home. Because the rooms were so small in those little base housing units they had to put my crib in another room right next to theirs and my grandmother my mother's mother was there to visit for a while and as a few days went by to be a home. My grandmother pitched a fit about the cat my dad's cat cat's name was probably whack it was a sealed off pure bred seal point Siamese taken from my guy's favorite book Book and Candle cords catch to Oh yes and this cat became very protective of me. If that cat wasn't sleeping in the crib with me it was under the crib. If mom was had me on the couch that cat was nearby no matter where I was that cat was always nearby and one day my grandmother went into the into to get me. The crib and she started screaming and my mom went in there what's going on and she's like You can't have that cat in that crib that cat's going to kill that baby and my mother has like no no no you don't understand he seems to be taking on a protective role with the baby and I guess the cat had hissed and went to go scratch my grandmother for some reason you got to the point where no one could get you into that room and take me out of that crib unless it was my mother my father that cat was that protective very protective and. One night it was my dad's live actually my dad's last night of leave before he had to go back to Vietnam and my mother was woken by hearing some strange noises coming from my room and so she got my dad out. Grabbed his head it grabbed his gun and mother was right behind him and they went in there and turned on the light and looking around and there allow me to digress but died a few days before this incident Ok all right like it had passed and dad had buried him in the backyard all this night when there was a ruckus going on they they went in and it turned on like they sitting on the. Cats. And I'm so sleepy. The window head had been ajar opened up a little bit my dad had walked over to try and pet him just disappeared. Funny thing was he like Dad noted my dad told me was that when the queen went over to him he was licking his paws I wonder if we still watching over you I don't know but my dad said he was looking for his cause and when he went to go give him a pat I like it just disappeared. Then it did then my dad noticed that there was fresh blood on the window sill and when he looked out the window stalls put tracks came to that window and then tracks going off in another direction like human or pop French. Is it was a was just blood like he had attacked something and drew blood and there was blood all over the wall over the all over the when the so strange and after that incident and being on base housing my dad and him being a sergeant and said hey you know some somebody's trying to break in to my unit but up if you look around for someone's got scratches on their hands cat scratches on their hands we'll find out who did they never found out who did it but we never had a problem from that day on they never saw it again from that day on in the interesting thing is is that both my parents this would be worse than 70 my mother just couldn't handle the p.s.p. Right where they didn't even know it was p.s.p. Back and then any day and no idea and she had to make a choice so she did and they both told me this story separately my grandmother back to the funny thing is both my parents always had a purebred seal point Siamese cat throughout the rest love that story of the day they die and I turn out to be a dog person. Courthouse Ok that's now a museum and so I went to the museum went through the jail down the basement Klipsch really looked like a dungeon and then the sheriff's office and the mayor's office was on the 1st floor the 2nd floor was a courthouse and it had these 2 large French doors it opened out into. A balcony and on one end of the balcony was a double gallows. And just walking around and chillingly antiquity of it all and I got over to the gallows of those a 3 by 5 card text to it and I had the words of a song and the story was the last person that had been hanged to their saw somebody down in the crowd below that. Was a friend of theirs and so they asked Langham if they could sing a farewell song and some of the he stood there and sang the song and and that was the story and they had the words of a couple of verses of the song as I read the words. I could hear the melody in my mind. And so when I got that to the apartment I got out my tape machine and I recorded the banality and I got a copy of the words and a year later when I was back in Utah a list singing on a tape the why you t.v. Show and I sing the song I gave the story and about a week later the station called in they said we have a letter for you and I picked up the letter and it was from a woman in Salt Lake City and she said I want to know where you found that song and I have been hunting for it just 50 years and then she sang the same melody to me that I it's. It's coincidence what was the name of the song was a well known. Parent not because she couldn't find and called faded flowers faded flowers and then I had one other in central valley that was a couple that lived in a home that had a nose for a living and and they told me right after they built their home. They had just finished the roof it was a slanted. Roof with tar and gravel and she could hear footsteps on it and she was really angry about that because of car wasn't fully garage. And so she went out and he could still hear the footsteps going back and forth and to see anyone. and 'd she went back a mouse and then over a period of days the door bell would ring and she'd go answer the door the most nobody there have the number of turns and then they have. A buffet in the front room and she get up in the morning and one of the drawers of the upside down on the floor everything scattered around and eventually this went to her favorite rocking chair she would sit in and the rocking chair would picture out and soon she started doing some reading READY and found a religious sermon by leader of the church and he talked about. They have a bucket and I said the sweat lodge with cold water have to go through so many rounds of the ceremony and when I open up the door we are all walked outside and that old man was sick and out there. You could hear him say I always got you and he did Wall long black and pointed at that girl. One of those bony looking fingers I bet that has more of his white wispy almost like smoke sheesh. Absolutely I've been a listener for about 10 years George I've got a story that you might you might like Ok I bet I will tell you I've heard you talk about we geve wars before so here we go Boy oh boy back in 1960 hours 9 years old and living out on a farm in southwestern Pennsylvania near didn't have anybody to play with my little brother was a year old my sister was 2 years old so my cousins lived about a half a mile or so away and I have to walk through the fields and through the woods to get to their house so every Sunday afternoon after day one we call dinner back then which was lunch I would walk over to my cousin's house as they were my age or a couple years old or so want to afternoon they decided to pull out this strange looking thing on board and I asked what it was Mrs Carlito board and I had no idea 9 years old I had no clue what that we had Borderlands right so they said we're going to show you how it works so they they showed me and they ask this from very benign questions like What am I getting for Christmas and you know what's that how much snow we got to get all those questions so they say Ok Here try it then and ask any questions you want so I asked that how old why be when I die you know I want to I want something serious and the board said 53 I thought oh boy that's kind of young and so my next question was what why die from. And the board didn't want to tell me it didn't and it just kept spelling out gibberish and then finally said broken back. And I didn't like that I didn't like dying from a broken back at 53 and on your own way too way too young and too painful to painful and I was so I never wanted to play with that board again and we never did so George Fast forward to 2004. In June of 2004 I suffered a fractured right leg and I had a cast up to my knee or the majority of the summer and rehab so you know that was my summer November 2004 at the end of November I suffered 2 heart attacks Oh my God and I ended up in tentative care for 7 days and they found me put a stent in my heart and it was Pearl Harbor Day They kept me out of the hospital after I got my stent in my heart Ok so I've had no issues with the heart ever since and no issues with that foot but the question remains in 2004 How old was I George Iftikhar I write their 53 right there. When she got to rambunctious my mom would lock her up in the laundry room which is that the other end of the house so he's dying from kidney failure and what you do is you take a rather large needle and insert it under the cat's skin and hydrate them with a sailing trip off of you know an i.v. Bag Ok now my mom couldn't do this so I did it twice a day for half an hour be water in the cat holder in my lap and Peden are for a half hour stuff and just went on for a long time like 8 months or so much longer than normal but anyway so one night and sat on my computer to record coast to coast and about a quarter of one I lost the internet connection. The problem was not on my end I had to go to my mom's house and that's where the router last right and checked and I checked all the connections rejoice all that stuff yeah and he had internet connection but the router didn't see anything on my end of the network so while I'm doing this peanut in the dark meow that me from next to the desk I'm kind of busy right now Tina and I keep doing this and also never thing started working again for no reason I mean there's no reason for stop working no reason for to start work so I went home went to bed the next morning my mom calls me up she says I think peanut died last night because no he's not moving and she peed on the floor and I thought 2 thoughts if only enter my mind 1st of all well I know she was alive at 1 am Could she be out and my mom has also come for the cat pee on her carpet but you know she had the skeptic 20 years I thought Ok I'll come take care of it so I come up and look in your bedroom I look under the desk under the bed and I can't find a cat I mean so I asked my mom where Spina she's in the laundry room when did you lock her in the laundry room last night before I went to bed she. That is unbelievable Yeah. What she was she dead yeah yeah oh yeah she was dead but he made out at me at 1 am in the dark in my mom's bed after she'd after she had passed on I think probably about the same time I think that's that's that's the only reason I can think for the network going down because there's nothing wrong with anything it's just quit working and then it started working on the cat meow to me while I was up there do and that's a great story I love it thanks Mike. He would put a couple of these out there and cause he put ads in the paper and whatnot and he got a few calls and I would time he went there to go to show the house for prospective buyer he would notice of the sign was pulled out of the ground and thrown in the driveway or fold it up in the lane and they've got a there and he's taken maybe somebody in the neighborhood of like the idea of the house being sold you know all right so he this is this occurred on several occasions and he went back and he had talked to one of the neighbors and he says you know that anybody have trouble with this guy or anything this is not at all he was a fantastic man united How about with everything in fact he used to pay for the kid who cut the lawn needed it why lawn as well he says I know probably says Do you know why anyone would be pulling the signs out a signal to be honest with everyone in the neighborhood is wanting the house to be sold so it doesn't set there you know ramshackle then you know they can somebody buy an screws to pack up and they says he says Ok all right he put a few more signs out and again he went back there and the signs were ripped out of the r. And laying there on the floor on the ground you know smashed out talk to the neighbors it's where our dogs number of are we never heard a sound there nuffin say broadsword tension was. Each one and yeah and this was like this is that we had to write press the buttons for the to put in the letters and there I was there was no like key pattern anything. So I lived out of the text messages and every single one of them was just like this urgent like call me right now I have to talk to you now call me immediately everyone was different what this is really I had so I didn't know what to do. I just like I was freaking me out so I called my cell phone provider I was like what's going on like you know his sending me all these messages and so they looked for a little while and put me on hold and finally they came back and they said man we don't know how this happened or what's going on we can explain that but all of those messages came from your own phone you know my god same time. That's weird so somebody really wanted to communicate that day that's all we could talk any any idea who it might have been on the other side. They had a disagreement on one night on February 16th of 129 at Levin o'clock at night he would come back as this ties in the Teapot Dome scandal sure whole thing argument and. Hugh brought in a revolver and they don't know if he shot Ned and then killed himself or if it was Ned taking a gun and shooting Hugh then killing him my gosh yeah yeah Ok so one got murdered one committed suicide right they believe they just don't know which one right exactly and also George it's it's that's just one of the incidences of murder and suicide within the house there were there were more oh my god yeah so there were 2 maids one maid hunger self in the house another maid there's a meat locker in the 2nd story she went in and slit her wrists with in that locker so that her friends who were other maids would not have to clean up after it would go down the drain there was also a little girl that either we don't know if she fell out the 2 of the window onto the terrace or if she jumped off or fell off the recreation wing down into the courtyard a hand I'm sorry to bring up more but there was another man in 2003 who went to the will upon which is right next to where I am and shot himself in the head and killed him yeah I don't blame you get out of there after this interview was. It was it was really terrifying to me and then I Then I said to Steve Clarke did you set this up because my sister and brother live here and he goes No and I said get the other Dan Hernandez other ranger get him on the phone because I want to see if he's here on the radio he got ahold of Van Dam was at another park and it was real I mean it was and that's nothing compared to what has happened in this house it's crazy that's amazing Jeff and does the activities they continue to this day right yeah I mean it's in Georgia I'm not joking I'm in the firehouse which is right next to the mansion right now there are spirits within that house moving around somebody who cleans the bathrooms below I just talked to him half an hour ago before we came on here and he told me about seeing an apparition crossing paths a window inside the mansion 2 nights ago. The designer was Lisa Turner and she was designing it was for titans of the business and she was designing it for Stevie Wonder and so she had all these multi-center the really beautiful and in between these doors she had these statues and they were like probably 6364 tall heavy 300 pound statues that had. Like a leather face and off that there were women off that leather face that came down to the chest were strings with heavy rocks hollowed out that made it look like a dress so he's walking through the mansion turning on the lights and he looks over he turns in the lock on the lights and this one statue moves toward him. About a foot foot and a half scoots toward him of these are $3.00 to $400.00 pounds it took like 6 guys to move them in and move toward Steve and he stares at it and he told me he said you just moved because it's really hard to fathom when you're by yourself and you're in a mansion as early morning as dark and this thing moved toward him when Lisa Turner showed up during the day she was upset because she said Who Moved the statue and Steve said because it's it moved by itself that's a true story that's really true the creepy meat Walker story was that the maid who killed the shelves in there yeah so what happened was that I was taking this woman loose who was a ranger an ex ranger from a long time ago she decided to come here to meet me here and I was going to walk her through this mansion to get her ideas of what happened to her of the paranormal she has the gift she can feel she consents so she had 18 stories that are in the book that are like off the charts so when I walked her through we were upstairs in the kitchen upstairs and she said to me I whenever I was in here Clete I was in this in the I go check the kitchen make sure everything's locked and everything is Ok and I keep hearing this pounding and I couldn't figure out where the pounding was coming from so I'd walk out of the kitchen look down the hallway couldn't you couldn't hear where was coming from and then the next day same thing think she was finally one day I found out it was coming from the store she shows me I said well you know what that is right she goes Well it's the meat locker I said what happened in the meat locker and she said No I said a woman slit her wrists there and she just stared at me and went. Oh my God she was trying to get out and that's what she heard as the pounding from inside the meat locker Wow Yeah. Creepy indeed Yeah how about the strange story of Ranger Mike lot of Ranger stories with a range of there are a lot of Ranger stories because the Rangers have access to the mansion and you were one I was one I didn't want to access but I had so Ranger Mike shows up design show again he opens the door it's the end of the day he comes in through the servants' entrance and he's checking to make sure everything's locked up for the night he walks over by the stairwell that goes up to the 2nd floor and he glances over and there's this little boy looking through the railing of the stairway staring at him he's like how did this kid get oh my god I got he was afraid that Steve Ranger Steve was his boss was going to get upset with him because he let people in the house during the Science Show so he says hey and the kid turns and runs and he goes up through the servants' wing on the 2nd floor he runs after him pursues the child the kid goes around the corner Mike loses him and comes out says hey come on out tell me what were your parents you've got to come out you can't be inside the house he's looking he's looking and there is no child and to top it off during that design show there was a room that we used for all historic purposes for photos for dishes and things you could see what used to be in the home and he calls me off this clique and compare what's going on Clear takes me into this room goes up to a photo and says there's the kid right there. I love these things is this crazy or branch stories yeah it's rich and it's all all real and there's a message room in this house what's a massage Yeah the massage and we're talking about oh a massage room in the massage room. This is crazy remember loose lose wasn't it was a Ranger she told me the story that she they had a movie that had come in they shot in the House and in that massage room somebody spilled something and stain this white carpet that was in there so she was like oh my god I got to have some company come back and clean the sling that obvious if you can see if you can write so it's an it's a white carpet so this guy shows up he's got his cleaning a bucket in the whole thing and she goes You got it this has to come out so he starts in scrubbing it she stands or watching him then she walks into the room next to her which is Mrs doe he's from she's walking around she comes back into the massage room to see how he's doing he is frozen he stopped cleaning he is staring at Lou's walking into the room and she's looking at him like why aren't you cleaning and he looks back over to the door that enters the massage room and there is a woman standing in that doorway in a white dress and you can see right through or into the hallway and he's staring she looks up the woman looks up from the guy over to lose see she's there the ranger and just dissipates and goes away and lose the guy goes hey man to to is this good enough and she goes nope clinic and she made him stay there and clean the rug and then the guy ran out and he was he was frozen he was in a he was he was done he had just shut down yet these things continue to happen so something is still hanging around there oh yeah I mean there the Honestly George there and you'll see in January there are a lot of things still happening all all in all parts of the place in the recreation wing which has the at the bowling alley would degeneracy There Will Be Blood Yes Ok members at the end the bowling alley the end Yep Yeah that's here the words here that was that was shot there were.
