Two Cedar Rapids Police officers officersare now cleared in the shooting death of markell bivin. Bivins. Last month officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the valley high when they got there they found a 25yearold woman with stab wounds struggling with bivins. The Iowa Division of criminal investigation determined that bivins ignored the officers orders to drop a knife. The Attorney Generals Office says bivins left the officers no choice but to use deadly force. The Linn County Sheriffs Office is now looking to buy body cameras for dozens of Law Enforcement officers. Officers. The county wants to buy 65 body cameras for just under 120thousand dollars.
