No one was hurt but now the iowa dnr says about 36hundred gallons of the fluid and about 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilled into a nearby creek. That creek flows into the coralville reservoir right now the dnr is working to clean up the spill. They say the deicing fluid could discolor the water but it is not a longterm environmental hazard. And its already been a dangerous start to 2016 for iowa drivers. So far state troopers have responded to 792 accidents throughout the state. State.
