His brother and neighbor also supported those claims when they took the stand. Stand. On the day of the murderedward cusics neighbor, jeff ray said ed suffered from a seizure but regained consciousness. His brother warren cusic who also goes by andrew said his brother was prescribed medication in high school after he suffered from concussions while playing football. He says he was also prescribed more medication when he was hurt on a job site. Andrew also said he witnessed his brother abuse medications more times then he could count. The psychologist took the stand and spoke about cusics mental state at the time of the psychologist he suffers from neurocognitive disorder. Sub stance abuse. Psychologist was not legally insane of the time of the event. Event. The psychologist also said cusic took several prescription drugs which included zenax and valium on the day of the murder. The psychologist testified that cusic thought his mom was trying to attack him that night but now thinking back he realizes that was not the case.
