You know I'm not sure about this I googled it and I saw all these scans for how to ask her own I automatically throughout the throughout the window isn't interested anymore Well Matt I am so glad that you did your homework because I've had so many people call me who didn't and then wanted to know how they were going to get their money back after being scammed do you know where the pictures come from. Full on with a major food chain and a grocery store that he works following but I want to get him started in. Some more investments but I can't touch the money we can't touch the money is mom is a conservatorship and so all that money is allocated every month but I wondered if he could open I separate checking account where the money that he might just goes into that account and then that money can be pulled out to be put into a fund retirement or just a regular individual mutual fund for it's huge What an interesting question so this is this is money that he can put into a retirement account have it grow through the years and then when he's much older it would be available for him to use then his brothers and sisters say they would they would have the added incentive not only a van brothers and sisters in doing the right thing but he would probably be worth a 1000000 or so and that's always a great incentive isn't it yes it is so he would be eligible for a Roth Ira because he is having earned income at the grocery store. Yes so he could absolutely do that and he could put up to $5500.00 in a year because he Oren substantially more than that in the year and a half for $4500.00 maybe $400.00 a month I was just very concerned with the obviously the money that he gets from the from the government he would not be able to I would never want to get that I'm trying to figure out how to do it without ever getting those to co-mingle commingled Oh yeah you know so if the money from so he gets $4500.00 a month working at the supermarket is that right yes right so he can never put into a Roth over the course of a year more than he makes in a year but it's segregated out its own separate account you tend to do that with an investment house you know I've got my favorite low cost ones what I call my favorite children Oh I'm I'm only I'm you know I'm already know the and I'm good there's also setting up the Roth would be a great way for him to have tax free growth the money that he could use 33 years down the road. But you don't thing ain't problem with him for saving money for his disability from the government as long as it's always kept separate exactly Well Ok you know that that money. Gosh so we're getting pretty technical here yeah I'm hearing that there's really no issue with the fact that he is getting s.s.i. Money and he's also got a job the eligibility for the Roth this established by the fact that he has a job and he has earned income and so that money is allowed to go into the Roth. And so that's a great place to stash it and the key rule is no more than either the lesser of $5500.00 or his earnings in a year and he's good to go Ok now here's great Here's a complicating factor though as I'm sitting here talking to you is that with the Roth he will ultimately have access to the money. Will think about that and so that is an issue is that if you're worried about how he would be able to handle that that's a problem with that as an idea I will set that off my son my son my father his father knowledge as an attorney so Ok Ok well you know that's that and I will not worry about that someday with a disability but it's a 4th a 1000000 he's not going to leave the disability anyway got it and how great it is that he's able to be out there working it's probably great for him.
