You know it well there's. When it lay it out there may not look it's dug out of the book you. Just made that you're listening to k.f. Ok l.p.f. I'm Georgetown 95 point one on your f.m. Dial. The. Inspectors. Are still in the. Us. Was used. As a thank you for listening to k. Off Ok. Georgetown uniting the divide and beyond. I know. You. Were. Expressed this program did not necessarily represent those of k.f. Ok its management its staff or its underwriters. Yes. Good morning George Tenet great to have you with us this morning and it's I'm glad to be bent it's the 1st installment of baseball nation since the last baseball season so it's great to be back with you this morning. Either one of the downtown studios here in the foothills what a terrific day outside it was pretty much sore Marine rainy yesterday but what a terrific day outside terrific David talk baseball a terrific time to go see some baseball games as the Giants are returning home this weekend after Actually it will be early next week. After what's turning up to be a fairly rough trip. I was skeptical of what the Giants could produce this year at the onset and so far this year I know it's early and it's only been a week but. I'm not I'm not surprised by what I see but I'm definitely not enthused why it's not looking too good they are often says not scoring any runs their starting rotation is not getting deep into games aside from Madison Bumgarner . Their bullpen is not doing what it needs to do Mark Melanne seen as a little shaky early on I don't think that will continue. And they just they just don't have the star power Bolton that they used to have they lost a lot of pieces they've got some young guys there what I'd say the biggest thing I'm worried about is a repeat of last year in terms of often Savella put. So that's what's coming up for the Giants we're going to talk about that this morning as well as lots of stuff around the m.l. Be we're going to talk about things surrounding the A's as well have a whole roster of things to discuss the rotation what they're infield looks like. That probably will take a little more time than it will for the Giants only because the Giants didn't have as big of a shakeup this year as the A's did in the eighty's every year have a shake up and mid season it seems so we're going to get into that we're going to get into like I said and I'll be topics we're going to talk about Bryce Harper and his resurgence we're going to talk about Mike Trout in the continual production that he puts out and we do a little bit of predicting and something I try to do every time we have our 1st installment here on baseball nation. So that's what's coming up 1st of all we're going to we're going to start off with the A's of course as as per the usual. And we're going to get right into it and we're going to talk about the rotation here and again if you got me for comments got the questions just want to chat about a team disagree with me whatever you want to do give us a call at 530-333-4300 I encourage all those phone calls. And we'll have an opportunity to chat about something that's going on or questions you have about a team that maybe you can answer so again the number 520-333-4300 we're going to dive right into it. With the A's rotation the only holdovers from last year in the rotation are Ken a great woman Shawn denial because Sunny Sunny Gray will be a holdover once he comes back from the d.l. But I don't think we know when that is. So for the time being he's not with us so he's doesn't count right now there are 3 new people in the rotation as your old cotton ended Triggs did some work last year in really fill in type situations and then roll out contra all 3 of those guys how you upside I think jurors cotton has the biggest upside and I can agree when we know they're young but becoming a stablished. 3234 rotation pieces. And General cotton has a huge upside ended Trix's kind of more of a journeyman type guy I don't think he's the the guy that's going to get no be in the rotation for 10 years you know. Compile hundreds of strikeouts if that's that's not him but. We. We need someone anchored down the 5 or the 4th one in the rotation and it seems that. She'd be Trig's was the best option I personally would have Ok I wouldn't left Triggs there I'll call it through a he's young he was out of options I believe so they couldn't send him down or they risk losing him I really didn't like that in the rotation I would have gone with Jesse Hahn and 2 days ago in the game against Texas I was further assured of that because Raul contra after an injury to I forget. Who was it. I can't remember anyway it so many on A's got injured and went on the d.l. And I kid it's totally skipping my mentor anyways Jesse Han was brought up as a long in the bullpen and that role our Contras 1st. Start of the season he gave up 8 runs in the 1st 2 innings I mean it's not as bad as what the Phillies were able to do to the dash it was yesterday 12 run 1st meeting we'll get into that later anyways 8 runs in the 1st 2 innings and so it was rather disheartening because I've always like just the Hollin in the rotation he's got a he's got a great mix of pitches he gets ground ball outs and I think if I were Bob Melvin since the rotation is inexperience so inexperienced I would have gone with the guy with the most experience but I get it all contra was out of options and they wanted to keep him in the rotation and he performed well this spring but I think his youth and inexperience definitely showed. Yesterday. 2 days ago when the A's got pounded by the Rangers 10 to 5 by the way if you had me keeping track of the a's are 3 in 3 so I think it's a good start for the A's Kenda great mn magnificent we're going to get into that right now Kendall grave Mihm on opening night was good he was very good the A's were able to pull out of when they started their season off feeling good and then yesterday Kendall graven washed her riffing. He carried his no hitter into the 7th inning ended up losing it on a sinker that he kind of laid down the middle the Napoli but other than that that was really his only blemish and other than that he was absolutely terrific he gave the team a shot to win at the time the A's had not given him really any run support I believe it was a 2 it was a 2 nothing game and then he gave a home run and Napoli made it a 21 game but I don't know what you think but I think that's that was terrific. He gave up the one run which was the home run he finished up he got through 7 innings. And then turned it over to the bullpen which was pretty much lights out the rest of the way and the is one the ballgame what really was $61.00 casea came in and did some relieving Ryan Madson was in there by the way casea is looking great early on here folks I know he had his recent problems get over here and some of the there was a problem with his passport or something anyways order visa or whatever you want to call it. He had some trouble getting over here he was really delayed and getting to spring but it he's really put up numbers for the A's here early on and I am very optimistic that if something great can come back which by the way he's going to throw another bullpen on Monday then so he's slated to still come back here at the end of the month maybe early next month if he can get back in be a decent Sonny Gray he doesn't he doesn't even have to be a saw young contending Sonny Gray if he can be Sonny Gray who posts a 3 year or a gives the holds opponents' outlook few runs every game 34 runs which isn't lights out but it's competitive I think he bolsters the A's rotation even better because when I was talking. I was talking about this with a friend earlier in the week I really like the rotation with Kendall in Shaun kilogramme and Shawn banaya 2 in 3 respectively instead of one in 2 I think if Sonny's one of those to back it up 2 and 3 I think that's much more formidable than having Kendall graven who could blossom into an ace Don't get me wrong I think he showed it yesterday when he commands in focuses on that sinker he can dominate lineups. That was on display yesterday but I still think that them as a 2 in 3 shows rotation dept more than there was one and 2 so I would like to see them as 2 and 3 I hope that's what happens when something comes back Sonny has just been so injury plagued the last couple seasons after coming off his fishing 3rd in the cycling voting so I think he's going to come back I think he's going to come back strong but what I'm saying is all the A's need is someone to hold down the number one spot relatively well considering what we know Sonny can do. I don't know what do you think if you have any questions want to talk about this give me a call 530-333-4300 love to hear your input if there's any fans out there and we'll get to the Giants because I know we're kind of a Giants territory here in the foothills but I'm optimistic I really am the A's starting off this season 3 and 3 and they're playing they play to get some the angels are no prize Don't get me wrong but they have a formidable team days were able to he hold off mike trout relatively well Albert Pujols they held down extremely well they were able to score some runs off of the angels pitching which is kind of drab but not not terrible and then they go into Texas and roll all contra has a rough night and they get him out of the game Jesse Han comes in pitches I believe it was 6 innings of maybe one run ball it something like that keeps them close to come back 5 runs and it was a wasn't a blowout but it was really looking like that from the 2nd inning days were told to score 5 runs and kind of poll little closer. I'm optimistic I really am and they soften their story once they have a very formidable lineup you look at the top down you have Roger Davis who was on the Indians last year you have Matt Joyce Jed Lowry Ryan Healy a rising star Chris Davis who hit 2 home runs on opening night and I believe added another one of the history you know he's a very formidable in the 45 salon Stephen voter who's not a terrific hitter but he always hangs in there formidable lineman and then at the bottom of your line if you have guys who hit 20 home runs Austria Marcus Simeon who's a 20 home run threat you have you on our lawns who has been mostly touted for his defensive prowess in his early career or in the mid stages of his career but he has a swing that many people think he could turn into an average hitter and I believe the same thing I think he tries for too much power which messes with his swing but I think that days have a formidable team and I'm interested to see how the next couple of weeks go because the next couple of weeks will be really telling if the ace. You know they stop scoring runs and their their rotation shows it's youth and inexperience in the bullpen shows it's I don't know maybe shows its age. There are some more veteran guys there are there some young guys in there so I am very optimistic and I'm always optimistic with the A's because they always put a young quality on paper team that always seems to have decent chemistry last year was a little bit of an exception on the chemistry s. But yeah so I'm I'm cautiously being optimistic and I think there's a lot to look forward to. No But before we take too much time here we're going to transition to the infield again 520-333-4300 is the number if you're waking up and thank you for joining me on your Sunday morning you guys getting ready for a nice beautiful day at the leg or wherever you guys are headed out to a little chilly but gorgeous blue skies all around let's talk about the infield So there's a lot of familiar faces to go around the infield However they're not all in the same places the new player in the is infield is Trevor pollute and pollute have been rather impressed with he's slated to be the primary 3rd baseman getting days off from Ryan Healey younger ones are running Healy will share time at 1st base with Marcus Simeon Jed Lowery rounding out the infield at shortstop and 2nd base with spectacle. And by the way Jed Lowry it has really started hot he is just totally raking the at the dish these days and I think a lot of that has to do with his health and a healthy Jed Lowry is a very productive jet Larry and I don't think he was healthy for any of his time with the Astros and so for that little break there he because he because as you guys all know this is another stint he's having with the A's he was with the A's or that he left for the asters in believe it was through free agency then came back and he's healthy now he had a surgery in the offseason to get some things out of his way in the lower body is so important when you're hitting. If your legs in your feet and your hips if they're not all aligned and feeling good then it's tough it's tough to hit so they send field looks promising in the young Ryan Healy Marcus Simeon with a couple of veterans pollution Lowery younger ones are still relatively young but the A's outfield I think is the most exciting out of all. Out of these out of these 3 infield the rotation. Of these 4 the infield the rotation the bullpen the bullpen in the outfield rank very close because the outfield for the a's is taking a much different shape at the beginning of the season at least than it has Last year they did last year in left field we have Chris Davis and he's just a power slugging and he's starting to pick up the average a little bit which is nice he still strikes out but he's picking up the average a bit Setterfield we get Raj Davis who is a polar opposite doesn't hit a lot of home runs can go gap to gap but has tons of speed it was all very much on the spot yesterday and then we have Mark Khanna and Matt Joyce holding down right field I think can easily get back into a group but not Joyce has shown promise since the beginning since he came over here and I think that the outfield is going to be good and it's taking shape as if it was already good so I'm very excited about the outfield the bullpen is terrific it was last year pretty much and I mean the A's have like 4 closers you got Shawn do a little Santiago because Iranian Madsen Sean do little Ryan Dole closed a little bit he he kind of blew one of the games against the Angels but it's early season rust he was great last year stranded His 1st I was 36 runners in the big leagues or something was insane bullpens great rotation deep but young We'll see how that goes in the lineup formidable So I like I said I'm optimistic I think they will still experience some growing pains in terms of how young their team is I think they're going to finish above the angels. I don't know if they'll finish above the Mariners but I think they're going to get they're going to be like a $78.83 at the end of the year so just below $500.00 but very close and much better than last year so I think that I don't think they will make the playoffs and I'm I but I've been surprised before in the eighty's are always a surprise when never they make the playoffs it's always a surprise no no pundits pick them I never pick them and when I do than ever. I think they'll finish around the 7883 I don't know what do you think. You can email me Jeremiah k. Off Ok at G.-Mail dot com Jeremiah k f Ok dot com or you give us a call here 520-350-4300 if you have any questions comments concerns crepes think the A's will be worse and I'm saying that the Giants we better than I'm saying so like I said I don't think the A's are going to be great but I think they're going to be better than next year and there's a bright future and I wanted to get to know on the front I wanted to get to a bunch of this a bunch of the stuff that they renovated the Coliseum so I'm going to mint parts of it at least I'm not going to get into is deep as I want to do because I have a guest who unfortunately wasn't able to make it today but because of. A little bit of just some stuff that was going on and it was to my friend from Oakland who worked for the a's in stadium operations wasn't able to join me this morning but I'm hoping to have him next week so we're not going to get too deep into this because that's what I was hoping to discuss with him so. But I am going to get into a little bit so that is wanted to boost their stadium experience a little bit so they invented the championship Plaza which is on the concourse between Oracle and the top gate slash season ticket holder entrance at the top of the stadium so they have that it's a ticketed area now that concourse they put down some fake grass. They have been bagged tossed they have some like wolf of wall stuff and it's lined with food trucks and there's shade there's bunch of benches and picnic tables a nice place I liked it I thought it added to what was lacking at the Coliseum and that is an opportunity for people who aren't just there for the game to relax and there's a huge flat screen out there and we know how it's like 30 feet by something I think it was it's huge and so you can watch the game on the television from there then there's a bunch a loud speakers where the. Fossey and Kiper they're all over the loudspeakers and so you can watch the game have some great food from the food trucks just chill out there play some games on the on the fake grass like I mentioned and so I thought it was really something that the A's had been lacking and I really I liked it and Dave Cobol the new president. Also renovated something in the West Side Club called the shy park tavern. In the tavern celebrates the A's rich history in Oakland as well as the past in Philadelphia and that's one thing the Dave come all the new president is doing he is embracing the history of of the eighty's because really when you think about it the eighty's have a terrific history they are a marvelous franchise they have been around a long time with their days back in Philadelphia. Kansas City and then here in Oakland. They've come alls a new slogan rooted in Oakland is kind of what I mean it's on the new schedules lane your badges whatever you want to call it tickets I believe rooted in Oakland is a new slogan because Dave of all really wants to get something done in Oakland and for all you Raider fans out there including myself it was kind of sad to see the A's see the Raiders go to Vegas but I'm still going to support them because they're my team and I really I like the players it's not that I just like and really the ownership is not what i Reports I root for the players so I think that the initiatives that Dave Hall has been taking are much needed and very refreshing some new ownership some new attitude. And I like it and the A's have affordable team this year there are lots of good vibes going around as fans I really think that after a 3 in 3 1st week of the season that's totally acceptable for the A's I believe they play 12 today. Rotation the bullpen formidable lineup I think gave him a shot and I really think that the A's will perform better than last year I really do and if you I say that every year and call me crazy but I have I have I have. I have faith in the yes I think that they have young talent that was just starting to make its way into the mix get last year and it's showing promise this year and I saw they didn't get worse I think they got better and the angels didn't get any better so I think they'll finish above them as don't know if they can make the playoffs it was that's what we got for the A's today. We're going to be back in just a minute let's dive into the Giants shall we and what. I know you people really are rolling your eyes out there because you know that I'm not a Giants fan but. But but we're going to take an objective look at the rotation the bullpen in the lineup coming right up after this is baseball nation with your host or my silence and don't go away we'll be right back. To a. Good . Thanks. To a. Thank you. This is. The host of. The real estate agents with life experience for buyers and sellers and divide area . Community Advocates inexperienced agents can be reached at 530-333-4336 extension 4 the latest information and sales listings Yeah this is Jeremiah silence in your host a baseball nation and we would like to think Patti Smith real estate here at. A community radio for their generous support of this program and many more say to the baseball nation We'll be right back in just a moment. Baseball nation didn't go anywhere because we just took a short break but we're back to the tune of the green onions. What a terrific day today what it's time for but it's baseball season and that means hot dogs popcorn summer warmer weather I don't have to scrape my car every morning to get it to defrost and also means new beginnings for the Giants for the a's and for all the other 28 teams in baseball and what that means is that we. Or myself here baseball nation we get to criticize every move of the giants meek No just kidding I'm going to try and take an objective look here at the Giants because I think they put a pretty decent team back on the field for 2017 I just think I just don't think it's anywhere near a playoff team. And I could be totally wrong and if you think I'm totally wrong give me a call 530-433-3430 extension 0 or e-mail me at Jeremiah k f Ok G.-Mail dot com I think it put a decent team on the field but I don't I don't think I don't think it's a point of team I think it's a team that starts going down to what that to the level of what the eighty's had put out in the last few years before the let me clarify that statement the last few years before they got good back in 2012 over there I think they have fallen off a little bit my reasoning behind that is Madison Bumgarner anchors the rotation but behind Madison Bumgarner Who do you have you have Johnny Kwaito who's going to be good he always is you know what you're going to get with Johnny he's quality innings sometimes you get a gem sometimes you get a little bit of a rocky start but you're going to get some quality from Johnny but behind him you have the margin more in Kane came disaster some margin gives up too many home runs you never know what you're going to get from him it could be a shutout or it could be a 9 nothing blowout in 3 innings and then Matt Moore can be very good but at the same time a lot of the time mostly more time than he's good he falters So I think behind Bumgarner and kwaito specially Bumgarner there's not much I mean I believe Kwaito goes today if I'm not mistaken Bumgarner is averaging 7 and a half any per game and the rest were Titian's at like 4 and if you had a deep open and I'm not being biased but if you had a deep bullpen with some long min stuff like. Jesse Hahn or something of that you had foreclosures on your roster then you can afford to carry a little larger bowl pin and have your starters not be as effective but the Giants don't have that luxury because their bullpen is not very effective behind Mark Milley Anson who had a bad 1st day and that stuff didn't go well but I think he'll be good but behind him you have to block them Corey Guerin in a couple of Strickland but he's on leave right now there's just not much there not much quality and Bruce Bochy has always been touted for being able to use me a little bit of head cold here. He's always been touted for being able to. Show we say mix and match but I don't think he's going to be able to do that so well with this team in this group and I only say that because I think that Giants fans last year and this year are they don't have real expectations for this team I think that they expect Buster Posey to be the Buster Posey of 20092010 through 14 I think he's going to be better than he was last year I just don't know if he'll get back to that point ever I mean I think those were his prime years. As me and I don't think they're both very good and I think the back and there were Titian is not very good and I think it's reflected in there 5 in 11 in 5 excuse me beginning to this these that the Giants are always contenders but the last couple years and I think this year they're going to slough off to the back of the pack there's just there's no way that they find their way in the playoffs I don't think you have. The Cubs slush cardinals one of them is going to win the I believe the cut the Cubs are going to win their division but the cardinals are going to be good so they'll probably take a wildcard Diamondbacks are looking good early on and they've been touted for the last couple of years. I just think the top heavy National League is going to cut the Giants off from a playoff spot because I believe the Dodgers are going to win the West I don't think the Giants have a prayer in the West but then you've got the Diamondbacks who are the little blue can up a little bit who might be in contention for a wildcard pirates kind of hang around usually I don't I don't think they're going to be a contender this year but you never know they were last year. I just don't think the Giants have the club to do it and I'm not saying the A's do get me wrong and I'm not saying that 20 other teams do I'm just saying I think the Giants fans have been placing trust in the Giants the last 2 groups or last 2 teams but they've fielded and I think it's a little bit misplaced this year because I just don't think they have the team to do it somebody argue with me. I'm totally open to reasons you think constructive reasons you think the Giants can compete or have a shot at a wildcard I just don't think the divisions in ne were Coast and I think a wildcard if I know it's early to leave in a week but one in 5 doesn't look very good and another one in 5 week you're down to 2 in 10 and that's just a terrible way to start you'd be you know it's just a bad way to start 56 games back in division after 2 we just it adds to that they divide that's already sitting there then the Giants outfield I think it's week when you have Gorky's Hernandez in left. You've got problems because Gorky's is a minor leaguer still in my opinion you have Parker down in the Minor Leagues 100 pence isn't he got to stay healthy I just don't see it I think his bodies were breaking down for a while and it's just not getting any better I just I think they have way too many downsides in their team but let's not be so rude downer here let's let's talk about what they have and what they have as medicine man Werner Johnny Quinn at the top they got a strong catcher Buster Posey who can lead a pitching staff through thick and thin they have marble Anson at the back and they have Brandon Bell Joe panicked Brandon Crawford up the middle and in the infield so they have some positives I just I just think that the negatives outweigh the positives and I think the Giants will have lots of trouble in the West and even bigger troubles in the as a whole in the National League I mean it's just so top heavy I mean let's look at the standings here SEALs take a look. It might help if I have this up already right. Ok so let's take a look at the nationally. Of this head cold coughing all over the place. So in the National League. You have Miami. Right now and in the head of the Nationals that's not going to hold but you have the Washington Nationals in the New York meant to very good teams that I think will both. Will almost definitely be fighting for playoff spots one of them win their division the other one will be definitely be fighting for a wildcard so that the Mets and the Nationals the n.l. Central You have the Cubs in the Cardinals. One of them is going to win their division but especially if it's if it's not the Cubs and the Cubs will get a wildcard but I'm almost positive the Cubs will win but at the the cardinals are going to be close I think. They look at the n.l. West and you have the Giants sitting in a one in 5 and the Diamondbacks they're sitting at 5 and want to get the Diamondbacks Colorado's up there in Colorado's got a definite shot to contend if they've got the Office for it they just need to bolster that pitching a little more and then the Dodgers who always are going to hang around you've got Kershaw you've got you got so many options you've got Kershaw you've got Janssen at the back and you've got Hill you've got. Just so much depth so much depth in that organization in there off into the beast hit to hole 2 homers year to date to go with his other one so I believe he has 3 now you've got your dollars Who's going to be good you've got Jock Peterson Corey Seeger who's just flat out rakes Chase Utley the veteran presence I think the Dodgers are this way better than the giant So I don't I just don't think there's room for the Giants as there was back when the Giants were winning so wild cards I think there were more there was more room the Cubs weren't good Diamondbacks weren't good definitely not good the Dodgers weren't as good the Mets weren't very good nationals were getting there so I think there was way more room when the Giants were able to win their wild cards and now it's kind of there's not much not much room in the Giants haven't got any better so yeah I just don't think they have a shot and you could. I think the thing about the Giants though is that they are never picked to win and they always do and I was talking about that with a friend earlier this week. So I didn't I didn't think they could contend last year and they didn't really but I was proved wrong the last few years before that but let's look at some positives 20 caliber and my crew go which is a really cool we all love that tandem there they signed multi-year extensions with the Giants details I didn't really get the details in the press release but they signed this was last week or week before they signed some new deals. Which is exciting because I think it's one of the most entertaining. I think there's more entertaining tendons but I think it's one of the most professional well done broadcasts in baseball in professional sports. Doing Kiper has an amazing talent for calling the game my crew go as color and then you know John Miller it's a great Broadcasting's team and so I was excited to hear that because I've always loved the Giants broadcast team I mean I'm as a fish and I tend to be partial to. Broadcast teams that I that which team in which teams I like. I just think the Bay Area has great broadcasting teams the Giants have a great television and great radio deal then I think the A's I really enjoy the A's radio broadcasters can Couric and Vince to try and you know very talented very nice guys. And then Glen of course Wayne's younger brother very talented as is his brother. In Ray Fosse he provides great color the now we've got some. Different color guys with preens post-game with. You know Mark Mulder and different guys will sit in so that's that was kind of a cool note on the Giants because I think. They know that their broadcasting team is one of the best and they like to keep it together and I think that shows great initiative on their part. Because it's it's just a terrific team I don't know if you know if you have a thought on this go to give us a call faces or 330-4300 or e-mail me Jeremih k f a k at g. Mail and not backtracking but kind of backtracking v Giants just announced it would win and it didn't answer anyways so we won't go there but. Back to what we're saying talking of the giants I just don't think they have the opportunity compete but there they have like I mentioned they have a very good beginning of their rotation they have a decent closer and I just I don't think their lineup is good enough I just I think they didn't get any better at all during the off season in terms of that so when you think about their woes last year then you're like Ok well then what did they do to get better and it's nothing they didn't do anything to get better the field 100 prints I just I just think he will be get injured again and I think that he can have corgis Hernandez and Denard Span picking up the whole outfield the them alone they are not huge strengths. Anyway there's my $0.02 on the Giants It's $844.00. We will be back in just a moment for the last segment or a couple segments left of baseball nation Don't go anywhere this is baseball nation on your home. In. Georgetown. Home. Welcome back Georgetown this is Jeremiah songs and we see you and this is baseball nation and it's back everyone so excited baseball is here and it's such an exciting time the summer is coming I know yesterday that forget yesterday baseball is here and it is the time of the year where baseball is here for 6 months plus and that means that. Just have just have a good time with baseball it's just perfect that way so we're going to get into some pet Milby topics here and I know didn't you roll your eyes again in the room or in a movie I don't care about that but there are some cool stories Sorel around. Cool stories again if you have any if you couldn't stand my show today and have tons of complaints email me Jeremiah j e r e m i age k f Ok at G.-Mail dot com and we can we can chat we can talk about the good things the bad things what you did and didn't like about the show what you disagreed with all the good stuff anyways on the m l b topics I think one of the biggest deals so far has been the Diamondbacks and their. Their resurgence I guess or they're finding their Shrove in the same thing with the Rockies they're finding their stroke after so many pundits. Didn't pick them the last few years and now they're they're starting to perform in this again this is the 1st week but a week is a micro casm of the whole season so I think I think would go those 2 have been the biggest surprise so far of them for some not surprised at all but for others a huge surprise come a funny story he and if you want more on this story you can go to Mobi dot com and watch the video but the Phillies scored 12 runs. In the 1st 2 in the 1st inning excuse me 1st inning on the Washington Nationals That is insane so 12 runs and the funny thing is I believe almost 10 of them or was it 9 came with 2 outs so it was. If you watch the video which you can find on him o.b. Dot com It was rather hysterical because it did they couldn't get it out and they had they had some unfortunate luck but at the same time a lot of it was that they just. They just couldn't get it done and it was yeah it was it was kind of sad anyways so that was kind of a funny story not funny for the. Not funny for the. Nationals but kind of polygamy is for the Phillies. What some other funny stories we just we got into all the hard core stuff about the rosters and diving deep in that and looking for looking for problems in rosters and all that good stuff let's see if there's any the base but that's what the all about baseball is it's such an interactive game with the fans and everything I just don't I just don't think other sports really rival it another interesting topic that went on yesterday. Was Felix Hernandez and Mike Trout and we have another one coming up a Mike Trout Felix and it is the Mike Trout the gauged in a duel it was a 14 pitch battle I watched it it was absolutely epic. Trout in King Felix back in forth for 14 pitches and then Felix painted the inside corner right on the black. Structure out looking in the kind of tipped their cap to each other now that was cool to see because Felix as we know one of the best pitchers in the game. In his role on his resume and trout one of the all time he's on pace as one of the all time greatest players ever and speaking of Mike Trout it was it was funny in the same game a balloon dropped on the field and trout started running back to get it in a pocket and so that was kind of hilarious that you can watch a video for the Movie dot com. Like silly story website thing another cool thing and it ought to it's weird these rules running they don't interrupt and Simmons the shortstop for the and those made a cool tag it was kind of like a behind the back super human type deal you could take a look at that on him a b. Dot com And one thing I wanted to get to is and we've got just a minute or a couple minutes here left what do you think of Tim Tebow I am all for it and as you may have heard he had his 1st one home run in the minor leagues 2 days ago 2 days ago I believe it was a shot to left field opposite field showed some showed some nice power so I thought that was I thought that was kind of cool. So I like to people I think I like what he stands for I like his attitude I like he doesn't take things for granted and he's he's a terrific athlete I just don't think at his age he can make it but I could be wrong we'll see I just I like Tim Tebow and I like what he stands for and I like the fact that he's a stand up guy and he he's just a quality he's a quality human being and he has good worth of work ethic. So I think he has he has a shot but I just think it's far fetched another funny story around then I'll be yeah here Molina. Funny you can also watch this video in a Movie dot com. I can remember who threw it anyways. Molina slides down like Catcher normally does to block it and it's sticks to his chest protector and so he pops up because he thinks he missed it and and. And he pops up he thinks he missed it and all the time it's stuck to his chest protector and he doesn't notice that he's running around people are going extra bases and it was on a strike out and. It's kind of comical and it's just it's sitting there stuck to the middle of his checks protector and they still don't know what made it stick that you know if you're a conspiracy theorist you really go for substance on the baseball or something like that but. Also Bryce Harper and again if you white all these videos are in it will be dot com He had a no look catch it was really stellar you know because sometimes you'll see the headline no will catch take a look at this. And it's like oh yeah he looked away for a quarter of a 2nd no this was this was a 2nd of pure nothing he turned his head completely and I mean a nice back him play because the sun was directly in his eyes and so he turned in he made a terrific terrific catch on on a ball that not many of his. Colleagues would make and so it I just thought that was kind of cool and you can also see that video and will be dot com as well.
