He was wrestling in a tournament at his school in spencer saturday morning. But by nightfall. He was dead. Austin collapsed during his match at the spencer invitational. Medics took him to the hospital. But austin died. The School Canceled a youth wrestling tournament today. Instead grief counselors came in to help those struggling with austins death. Hundreds of students and staff came to the high school to share memories of austin. The schools superintendent says the community is doing what it can to help austins classmates and family. This morning there were a lot of tears, a lot of hugs and those type of things, but there were also some laughs talking about stories about austin. Austin was a student that was a student bigger than life in many ways, a large young man 220pound student, with a laugh as big as any room you can put him in. Good kid, friends have set up a go fund me site to help austins family with medical and funeral expenses. Donors have raised nearly 20thousand dollars so far.
