But my early read on these games are to take the underdog in all 3 of these games that have lines posted to them so far there's only 3 games of lines of so far West Virginia catching 3 points against him zag I'll take West Virginia all day long they looked really good yesterday and beating Notre Dame if you looked really good all year long their best game is good enough to win the tournament West Virginia and I think you know my feelings and zag this isn't just the 27 team thing they've done this for years or more few they let underdogs hang around all the time so I'll take the 3 points made by it up to 3 and a half I'll take Xavier and 7 and a half against Arizona although I don't feel great about that and I'll take Wisconsin plus one and a half against Florida that's my early read on those games follow it your own peril . The kids of Cal Perry had the kids that Coach k. Said to do guys like that but they know they've got a system and a formula that works so they figure well you know we've got veteran guys you know maybe their futures as pros is nowhere near as bright as those guys but you know in March we can compete with these teams because there are you know one more experience or a little more mature and you know coaching wise if you will Yeah Cal Perry and Bill Self and coach k. And Roy Williams You guys are great but they've got great players and I think a lot of these guys like the bundlers of the world in the mid major teams they know you know how to play so well in their own skin I mean and they're not intimidated of the powerhouse schools anymore just because they might have a top player that could go you know top 2 or 3 in the draft it's a team game at the end of the day and I think. Well we're not seeing the wild upsets anymore we're still seeing a lot of you know great competitive games and you know Michigan man they are lying to me is not a. Read an article this week in I think it was Pete Thamel who wrote it for sci and it talked about how how hard it is now for the mid majors to get games that can beef up their resume and how everything is skewed now towards we'll call it the power 6 in college basketball because I think the Big East is thought to be a power conference they have the defending national champion they've got about a half dozen teams that made the turn into 3 Marquette and Seton Hall and Xavier and Butler I mean that's a thing like Butler Dave you run a butler is like a mid major there in the Big East now so they're not really like Butler if they do theri in the mix in their conference they've got enough equity on their schedule their power rankings in the the power of the Big East where they're going to be Ok the problem is for and given sag is almost immune to it can sag a place in the West Coast Conference they've done such a good job of creating a Boise State type of brand that they're fine but the Wichita states of the world like those are the ones you need to worry like eventually Greg Marshall's not going to he's going to get offered a job it's better than Wichita State and the Missouri Valley Conference became a one big league this year when it had been a multi bit league in years past because some of these conferences a harder time scheduling games with the f.b.s. And Big East Conference is so it's it's tricky you know this is still a format that lends itself to the mid majors that do get in there.
