professor. >> it's been a year since the incident. do we know why north korea shelled the island? >> it's from logic. it's the military measures to south koreans major exercise. they would be assuring last november, south korea, they conducted some maritime exercise to -- which north korea proclaimed that their own territory water. so after the confinement and sharing that it is their own territory, north korea made -- well, counter showing, but the main reason why they shelled the island was they hoped to draw some attention to the world, some unstable, very dangerous situation in the yellow sea area. >> the incident obviously strained relations between the south and north, but recently, south korea has softened its stance with north korea. professor, why are we seeing this change be very much likely, the six-party talks means for such things to happen, so, therefore, while military exercise of south korea and the u.s. is a factor, when and how six-party process will restart. vietnam, this food company set up its first factory in cambodia and kicked up production in 2010. they're training their local staff in sales have been growing. the cambodian company looks at japan knowledgeable as a source of technological know-how. china and south korea are the leading investors here, but their activity is mostly in real estate development, not technology. >> japanese company the disaster he has been in charge of rebuilding structures damaged in the explosions as well as cleaning up the rubble that is scattered all around. the work seems endless and overwhelming. he has noticed a change in his workers. these days they are finding it harder to concentrate on their jobs. in august for the first time, one of the employees injured himself. the man had not noticed an obstacle behind him and hurt himself. >> as the work has dragged on, people are letting their guard down. moral is low. i hate to say it but people are less focused on doing their jobs. >> to find out why the workers are finding it hard to stay motivated, the company interviewed all of its employees. many reported feeling irritated, unable to sleep or low motivation. one in six workers needed to be examined by a doctor. symptoms like these are becoming increasingly common. this doctor conducts the examination of workers at the power plant. he has examined close to 1800 people. most are suffering from a build up of stress and affect them mentally and physically. >> in march and april, work conditions were extremely stressful and the effects of that stress started to show up now. if they are not addressed promptly we're concerned they may escalate to full scale depression. the risk of losing their jobs if they reach the maximum radiation level. every worker is exposed to a total of 50 in a year, he can no longer work at the plant. some workers who have been heavily exposed are already over the mark they may not be able to find work outside the power plant. this is a major source of stress. >> i'm wondering what is going to happen at the plant in the future. >> the numbers are rising even though nobody is talking about it. everyone is worried and feeling the stress. >> emergency
