He noticed many survivors kept their feelings bottled up. He decided to create a film in which local people could participate and express themselves. Upwards of 300 to 330 millimeters. This area of the world, you get heavy rainfall during the monsoon season, but this is the premonsoonal rain. Those often cause flash flooding. Lets show video out of this area, where you see the darker purples. Severe flooding that took place across much of this area. Many homes have also been destroyed. Numerous bridges have been washed out. You can see right there, definitely very dangerous for people trying to get from point a to point b. Theres another view of one of the bridges thats getting washed away. Look at the images in the aftermath here. You can see just people trying to get out and about. We have those boats going through here. Definitely very dangerous. But life must go on across this area, and it is definitely going to be an ongoing recovery effort as we go through the weeks to come. Look at the forecast. We still have precipitation in the higher elevations. Farther to the east there, across cashmere. We have the heavy rainfall in parts of northern pakistan. Really, that is going to be k s exasperating the situation. Eastern india, you have the precipitation wrapping around the himalayas. Youll be looking at more rainfall, as well.
