Peration has begun. As i i i i i i i i i i i i i i y are meeting evever greater resistance. Bondsnd boooo will fight to the death if necessary. They have forced tens of thousands of civilians toward most old. People are very close to their offices and military installations. That is used to support the assertion that they plan to use these people as human shields. There were believed to be about 5000 militants remaining in muscle mosul. Is the last major stronghold in iraq and where they programmed proclaim to the caliphate. Its lost would be a major defeat for the extremists. A journalist joins me on the line now and is embedded with iraqi troops and is on the phone just outside. Talk to us about what youve seen and what youve heard today as troops move into the city. We saw the antiterror units in the east of the city. We got the control over the iraqi tv there. And we saw some heavy fighting on the border of the city of mosul from the east side. They had about four car bombs. Brent did you see that . At the end of the day, we are still far away from the battle inside the city. And i am expecting, as i heard, that the battlefield wont be in the west part of the city or they have already moved there. There were reports of suicide bombers in cars and got reports of civilians being used as human shields. Can you confirm that . Heavy scene that taking place in . We talked with some refugees and they come to the safety area controlled by the army. It is a very big challenge for them, just escaping because they are not allowed to leave. Some of them taught me there were about 20 people that had been executed because they tried to escape. We saw footage from the plane, pictures of fighters trying to push civilians in front because they are trying to avoid casualties in these civilians. It is really horrible because we saw children and women, and they dont care about that. Brent a journalist embedded with iqi troops tonight on the line. Thank you. As the campaign enters its final stretch, today, theyve been campaigning in florida and pennsylvania, both candidates calling each other unfit for office. Hillary clinton is on the defensive on her emails after an fbi announced a new investigation. Donald trump has pulled ahead of her by a single point. Our washington correspondents have been traveling across the united states, taking the nations pulse. Our report tonight comes from the small mining town in the state of kentucky. In the heart of conservative america, home to about a thousand people, most of them trump supporters. We are on the campaign trail in eastern kentucky. Hoping that strong local support for donald trump will help her get elected. Got to get them out of there. Got a get rid of the democrats. Let the republicans and see what they can do. It can get any worse. What have you got to lose . A few minds and a few jobs remain. A combination of Global Market forces and environmental regulations have caused the collapse and output. Some call it a war on call. Donald trump is promising to end that war. He spent his career supply equipment to local mines. He says the whole Political Class has let the region down and its time for an outsider. Im sick of them playing with our lives over politics. Im sick of the corruption and donald trump doesnt need the money. Hes a billionaire. You can believe him when he says he wants to help the people because if anybody ever had a reason. Other parts of his message resonate here. The warriors are far away but the fears he stoked about refugees are ever present. You have muslim terrorists thats coming in here. There are laws themselves say that they had to kill christians. They put them in cages, drown them, burn them, cut off their heads. And we want to let them come over here without being vetted and without making sure them kind dont come. Not everyone here is in tune with his thinking. She is a teacher at the local Elementary School and is openly supporting Hillary Clinton. It makes her a lonely voice in this community but others quietly agree. And hillary is a danger because she represents a choice that these women have. Gender roles are deeply embedded in these isolated hills and valleys and charlene has spent her life challenging them. She was the first girl and her family to graduate from high school. Now she fears what a Trump Presidency could mean for her young students. I want one of my girls to be one of the first people to walk on mars. And if they decide to be here and sitting watching the first woman walk on mars, thats fine. I wanted to be their choice and nobody elses. And i certainly dont want someone like donald trump messing with their selfesteem. They take us to an old abandoned mine. Hes as worried as charlene about the future but his fears center on clinton rather than trump. By the time Hillary Clinton leaves office in eight years, this country will be so far damaged, taxes will be so high, we are in a mass. If the people dont wake up in these last two weeks, we are doomed. With election day getting closer, feelings are running that high. As we leave kentucky, we wonder how america can get back from this brink after election day. How old do you have to be to get married . And much of europe, its 18. The law stipulates foreign marriages must be recognized even if the girls are under age. This more often than not, the girls have been forced into marriage and child brides face certain dangers. X sexual abuse is more prevalent in marriages where the girls are under age. They are not allowed to have an education or finish their schooling which would guarantee some kind of financial independence. Many girls are married before they flee their homeland in an effort to protect them. Whether it is a change of law, the marriages would no longer be recognized in germany and in extreme cases, the girl would be separated from her husband. They say changing the law would be good when it comes to forced marriages but not if they have married for love. I could possibly get along without him, but i still have feelings for him.
