It was pretty much as expected I don't know how you avoid that unless you're going to cut microphones when one of the other is talking I just don't see how you control the sort of debate in that format kind of as expected I wrote in The Hill last week that don't believe the media clips that you know portrayed by them is if he were a be fuddled confused old man I'm able to put 2 sentences together because I've been watching his appearances as well as Donald Trump like I did in 2016 for the candidates and Trump acted very much like he did in 2016 at the debate so I don't think that was any surprise right but did we learn a lot that we expect to learn a lot more minds change I don't think so I don't think so either and I think I don't think there's going to be another debate I think that it was so chaotic and everybody hated it so much and we didn't learn anything but I think it puts Biden in a situation where he can say. It was a disgrace it's a beneath the office of president I'm not doing it again and I think I think he could get away with that. Yes he does not want to if he feels like he you know eked out an Ok performance and let's leave it at that if he's having any difficulties we don't know about and I could absolutely see that happening again going back to the microphone the debate I would like to see but you have to cut the other person's microphone I'd like to have them each ask each other 2 questions at a time with you know a 32nd question a one minute answer or a 32nd reply just talking to each other but obviously that requires require some level of cooperation rather than the talking over one another. Sheryl Tell me tell me what this election means to America for instance last night. There was this moment where Donald Trump was talking about Cove it and he said people want the country to be open again they want to go on with their lives they want to go back to work and do their business and Joe Biden just said they want to be safe and I thought that is really the choice here a big government that will make everything everybody's problems go away and keep you safe or I want to be free to do what I want to do what what is the real choice or what does it mean this election Well I think you're right I have long argued that people's response to coronavirus tracks largely along the lines of their personality more than anything else there are people who are optimists and pessimists and hypochondriacs and people who don't worry and people who party in the face of disaster I mean there's just all kinds of reactions to stress and responses and I think that more than anything kind of dictates how we view you know what's going on but we are for the reasons of coronavirus and the violence in cities. Experience a maybe the biggest cultural and social change going on in our country and well in my lifetime I don't see 8 I'm 59 years old this means that what direction is it going to go I think we have 2 very different you know ideas of how that goes when in terms of education I don't think public education ever goes back to exactly what it was you know after this coronavirus response I think I'm going to the workplace obviously with commuting and so on but also the move from the cities to other places because of the violence and the you know the problems that are happening in the ways that cities certain cities are being run so what direction is all of that take I think Biden takes a then one very specific direction as a leader and I think Trump takes it in another and I used to say to myself Well the president doesn't make all that much difference he's there to 48 years the persistent bureaucracy runs the show by and large not not a whole lot changes but I don't think that's the case now and I think Trump has mixed a lot of that up and and that's that's what's at stake. When we look at the news of Hillary Clinton last night well 1st of all before I get to that one of the things that was that was asked but not answered and never came back to was will you pack the courts that's a really important question that affects everything it was asked but it wasn't answered to me either that I think I think that was I think the meaning of that is . Well I took it to mean yes he would but I guess it could mean the officer then fairness and he just wouldn't want to say because there are elements who want to pack the court and if he doesn't want to maybe he doesn't want to say so up front he doesn't want to say who he would put on the court he doesn't want to release his list I think those things if Donald Trump were doing the same you know avoidance on those particular questions he certainly would be called out into a much stronger degree and pressed on you know one thing I was researching this morning was how many times Trump has condemned white supremacy and racism because I can't find the article which try to say that there was an article I ran across in the past year or 2 researching my book slanted and it showed probably if it was like 45 times he had explicitly you know in no uncertain terms condemned these things and yet followed up by news reports the next day saying why does trump refuse to condemn what he writes and you know I was I was surprised Chris Wallace asked him the way he did fair enough to bring it up if you want to because Media Matters with success has successfully tarred Donald Trump with that reputation since their effort in 2016 to do so but Chris Wallace I think if I were asking the question I would have said you have many times condemned white supremacy and racism and yet there continue to be calls for you to do so will you do so here tonight like at least knowledge how many times he's done it because if you if you Google it news articles from formally reputable news organizations continually insist he doesn't or he hasn't and it's just you know factually incorrect so how about the Chris Wallace isn't asking over and over. You know the same questions of Biden although he did ask him about he did touch upon you know condemning the anti the violence with Biden touched on it but it would mean a better question a ban you know you have disavowed the white supremacists in the Klan in fact last week you exhibit should an executive order that named the Klan a terrorist group organization but you also you also said n t foot was a terrorist organization so Will you denounce the Klan here it was that your Another example of you denouncing the Klan and Mr Biden will you now denounce and and the Klan as well. And they'll be fair that's a good question that's a fair question and again I was looking back I see it that far back in 2000 when Trump was being interviewed by Matt Lauer on n.b.c. About his decision not to seek the Reform Party nomination for president I mean you know that was going on back in 2000. Well it kind of puts a final punctuation on what we've seen come out over the last 3 and a half years and I would say when I 1st heard some early reporting in lakes and series about all of this it sounded so far fetched that this would actually be a plan hatched and paid for by Democrats in the Clinton campaign but when you fill in the blanks It's all there it's pretty clear and it's it's pretty obvious but as often is the case the drip drip of information has come out so slowly and been reported so piecemeal that people are acting like they're not very surprised or shocked kind of like what we already knew that you know there's been no giant wow you know moment on the part of the people who are reporting the news at large that say this is really one of the most incredible and biggest stories of our time I think this is. Possibly the biggest story of my lifetime when it comes to corruption in the government and if it's not corrected we have no chance of being a country of by and for the people. Well and it's not been been corrected we still have an f.b.i. Director who has given false testimony repeatedly to Congress claiming there falsely claiming there been no 7 o 2 surveillance abuses which I've outlined in great detail all of the documented cases let alone ones we don't know about we have in my lawsuit for the spying on me the Department of Justice still defending the guilty agency even with a whistleblower admitting to being part of the campaign instead of apologizing and taking care of business d.o.j. Is defending the guilty agents and not looking at the forensics So there's a lot that hasn't changed and again what I call the persistent bureaucracy that runs this country and this is why 2016 I believe happened because when the signals were put out of when Edward Snowden revealed what was happening within the intelligence agency and when Michael Flynn was going to go in and take care of business since none of that happened it allowed these abuses to continue and they will until and unless it's cleaned up do you think that the Trump seems frustrated that this stuff isn't isn't you know coming out and being cleaned up but he's really kind of in charge isn't he I mean. It does do you believe anybody is serious about really getting to the leadership in cleaning these things out of our government. I think you have to imagine what it would be like to know the things you believe you know and to want to change the things you want to change as president with maybe a couple of people in your circle that feel the same way you do and that you can trust but pretty much nobody else who either feels that way or or they have some sort of conflict of interest or tie or they are there for a reason to keep you from doing certain things and he was convinced very early on through this operation against him and this is part of what I believe was the goal that he has to stay away from his own Department of Justice unlike every other president that he's not supposed to you know give them guidance and leadership on certain topics which is not true but they've scared him away from his own Justice Department lest he be accused of interfering with it in some inappropriate way and that's kept him marginalized to some degree Jeff Sessions I'm told by numerous sources whispered in his own office when he met with some people members of Congress because he didn't trust the people in his own office who could be listening to him about certain things and he was utterly frozen and unable to do the things that he stated he wanted to do you can imagine this monster that's been built up that is the bureaucracy for so many decades you can you know attack a layer or 2 but you don't know how deep it goes or how many people are on which side in the end so it becomes very hard to accomplish in 4 years it's even 8 is it safe to say. If you didn't believe in a deep state and 2016 Ok but if you don't believe in a deep state now you are not paying any attention at all. I think that's true and I was one of those who thought the notion might have been somewhat exaggerated not to know what I know now you know I had people tell me things I didn't report that about meetings that took place that I couldn't verify with people and Department of Justice and other agencies actually having conference calls to conspire in ways that sounded likely an unbelievable at the time that I now have no reason to think didn't happen because the sources have proven correct on so many other things so yes I do I did have a guy tell me Glenn. He says this was about 2 years ago but he was e-mailing me about something else and he said there is a deep state and I can tell you there is because I was part of it and he worked at a high level in the State Department under. You know I heard it again and 2016 something that some of my contacts on the right were saying was that the left accuses us they mean the right doing everything that they did and I just thought I kind of chuckled like oh that's kind of a funny saying but I didn't really think of it is literally true until now you look at. Their refusal to accept the outcome of the election you know accuse Trump of killing in 2016 and now again 2020 and then I get chills when I think about Ukraine accusing Trump of interfering with Ukraine when they knew some months before that this was probably going to come up Yep because what Biden and his family had been involved in which were exactly what take cues Trump of doing only their their deeds were documented and it acknowledged versus the sort of accusation that generic accusations that turn out to be true against Trump although he was impeached for it and yeah I just go back to this friend who said that and I'm like you cut your kind of right you're proving right so when they say something a lot of times it makes me now think Ok What have they done that they may be trying to the like from or what are we going to learn you know that that they did do when I was uncovering the Tides Foundation back in 2008 and George Soros that's what I told my team they will self diagnose whatever they accuse us of they're doing because you recognize disease and people because of you you know what I mean you're like oh they're probably doing this because that's the way you behave and they can't help themselves they always self diagnose this what's happening. Is actually happening on their side usually. The the New York Times we see if I can find this came out. Today or this was yesterday about dissin from ation in the 2020 presidential election and they say election misinformation the the biggest category of election misinformation is the mail in ballots that there is going to be a problem with the mail in ballots and the other one is George Soros the investor and Democratic donor there's so much misinformation about him we continue to get flag. All the time when I when I say things like George Soros is investing in district attorneys and he is trying to change things by changing the system from within the local and the state level that's all proven how is that a conspiracy theory agreed because if you don't dig in the way you have it sounds crazy it sounds farfetched and I thought so too you know at one time before I looked at some of the details and most people don't have time to look into it and they can't believe that stuff you know the stuff can be connected or how it's connected I mean the mail and ballots and I wrote about this at length and slanted How can the media fact check in advance the future you had people fact checking as fall Donald Trump's prediction that there would be fraud with the mail in ballots and I'm like how do you how do you fall back check something that hasn't occurred yet that you have no idea what what's going to happen and then you you follow the money and you find out that you know the fact checks let's say in the case of Google doing a fact check or you know taking down information and they're owned by alphabet which is one of the biggest contributors to Joe Biden's campaign when you look at you know employees by company right and they were the biggest contributor to Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton I believe and are one of the biggest in 2016 and then you start looking at all the fact checks and this is again sounds conspiratorial till I looked into it for an article I wrote for real clear investigations. So many fact checkers and particularly the board that the supposedly independent board at Facebook have connections to Soros groups oh yeah I started getting chills when I looked into so I got maybe a couple of these people will have links to Soros one works nicely for the source organization and I think all but one or 2 out of you know more than a dozen had worked with these groups he's founded in funded paid for got money it's just. So much money out there the odds are that if you're looking at any kind of advocacy on the progressive side it's been touched by money from a Soros group and what is what is your opinion on Soros Why does he do the people say to me all the time he's a Catholic he's a rich guy why would he want to destroy capitalism the free market system why would he want to do these things. I don't know I can only assume and I just don't know that he's a real believer in these causes but it seems like the way he spawns a lot of them he's giving away his fortune he's doing something that's not benefiting himself financially in a direct sense so he must believe in it but it does tend to be disruptive in terms of a chaotic sort of throwing chaos into the mix trying to. Create confrontation the types of groups and the cause that he takes on and the way that he takes them on my Jackson is not so much with him because what he's doing appears to be perfectly legal but it's so successful in a sneaky way of getting the media I blame us to report things a certain way and not scratch beyond the surface and to pretend that things that we see are you know majority opinion because somebody says it is or because they want to think we all should feel a certain way the media is not doing a good job at sorting through these high so that we can at least give information in a neutral sense and with context and not just pick up the narratives that are being pushed out by big money interests in these 2nd and 3rd hand ways that people are completely unaware of. Let me go back to the story in The New York Times and ask you what it means the story in The New York Times is about how misinformation false misleading information about this election has got to be curbed and I'm going to give you the the leading categories mentions this is from The New York Times mentions of absentee voting or ballots such as the false idea that it is an unreliable way to vote that's their 1st misinformation is is that even close to true that it's not a reliable way to vote when you're throwing away sometimes up as much as 30 percent of the ballots Well certainly they're not in a position to state as if it's the fact that they've somehow disproven or established that you're not an unreliable way to vote or that they're saying it's completely reliable they can't this is my problem with the fact checks that's not really a fact check that's an opinion yeah addiction that's a claim that they're making but they're presenting it as if it's the founded fact and then I look at the big picture how many things have the New York Times been wrong about you can go look at my media mistakes in the era of Trump and see how many times they're on the list for completely false information reporting whether by accident or on purpose doesn't matter but then they want to be the arbiters information for the 2020 ballot issue number 2 they say is misinformation mentions of voter fraud such as mentions of misleading stories about criminal conduct in involving mail in ballots. Well you know him criminal conduct and there has been I've been tracking some of those stories that again this is a new notion of fact checking that idea that you shouldn't and this is very Orwellian that we should be censoring facts off the top even when true because we don't want people to conclude a certain thing about the fact they hear that's just crazy that's just not you know facts are facts and you're not supposed to like shape and curb them or claim that they're somehow illegitimate if they're true just because you don't like the outcome or what people might conclude from them but that's quite the trend so the book that comes out around Christmas time horror Thanksgiving. The sub headline is how the news media taught us to love censorship and hate journalism we're in real trouble Sheryl if we can't get the facts out and if the public square Facebook Google everything else shuts people like you or discredits people like you or even me if we can't have opinions and and different look at different facts that are not being reported and we have the documents we're over. My pleasure I kind of teased in the opening of the book cover and I well I kind of gave it away I guess the mask but there's an interesting back story here to tell us about about that the mask on the cover Yeah it shocked even me and my publisher actually I wrote the book and 2019 and of course the main theme and as one tell your audience look I'm not ashamed of being a preacher or being a man of the Word of God but I'm not preachy I don't know spouse platitudes I just take what the Word of God says deal with what's going on and in life as you said in my intro there you know I spent many many years in law enforcement with several different sheriff's offices under several different sheriffs I think kind of from an investigative mindset so yeah so back in 2019 I was just you know watching what's happening in the world just coming like a flood of it over the past several decades of biblical biblical biblically prophetic happenings and events and we get into that later but in writing the book I focused in on 2nd Corinthians chapter 11 verse 14 in the New Testament that says for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light Well the context of that is he's he's you know this into t. This interdimensional entity that the Word of God speaks of in the opening pages of Genesis all the way through to the Book of Revelation speaking of this enter this cosmic interdimensional spiritual war that has gone on since the beginning of time and will right up to the last I wanted to expose what he's been up to what he's doing what the Bible says about it what the hell the headlines of today match up to Scripture that was written thousands of years ago so that was the purpose of the book Satan masquerading as an angel of light well so so I write the book and I. People that have read it seem to love it and I praise God for that so but I but I think it really you know strikes a chord with a lot of folks and and I wrote it in 2019 I got it into the publishers and in the in late fall we worked on the cover design we worked on the exact title we get it ready for marketing and editing and all of that that goes on for months and the publisher decided to set the release date for the 1st quarter of 2020 Well they actually then later on set a date for March the 15th Now this was still late in 2019 before anybody had heard of covert or you know anything like that and so the book comes out in March 15th Of course you know January 2020 we we around the corner and in America were made aware of coded which is really been around probably since December maybe even November maybe a little bit before but in America we just didn't really hear about it that much in the United States but in January we did of course and President Trump was kind of trying to shut the borders down and taking precautionary measures and we know the back and forth in the media and even Pelosi in 1000 the way back then were saying Ah there's nothing to it I mean c.n.n. Said it New York Times ran articles out this is just going to be no more than a then another big major flu thing and we've got more important things to think about and but then by the time we're getting in the March and of course I'm not even thinking about my book then I mean I knew some of your audience and yeah sure but I know I really wasn't I'm a pastor I'm try to move on here you're writing another one at this point on to the next project that's coming up just a few weeks so I'm writing books I'm doing all that work I'm preaching conferences I'm doing taking care of my ministry I've got my own radio programs etc So I'm just immersed in that plus I'm carefully eyeing this coded you know virus that's supposed to turn into a pandemic a good. Robel pandemic and I'm truly not even thinking about the book at that point and then it rounds the corner it gets in the March and that's when things really start getting tight in the us they're discussing everybody masking up they're discussing everybody you know sheltering at home they're discussing closing down non-essential services and businesses eccentric cetera and then of course maybe about the middle of March here it comes it's really getting serious By April it is deadly serious as far as the United States is concerned well in my book release that and then I remember I made a few weeks before my publisher says hey you know get everything ready we've got this thing and all the bookstores and I know you're working on a website which I had basically you know put behind me for a while because I was so busy and travelling so much but the book comes out and it hits me right in the middle that I'm looking at the cover of the book is a picture of a man. Very ominous looking holding a mask up to his face and it's one of those masquerade masks but I mean it's just ominous because it's a it's a man holding a mask over his face over the end and the title of it is masquerade The subtitle is preparing for the greatest con job in history not that I think Oh but 19 itself is a con job and that is not real I personally of course understand the biology and dynamics of it and and the medical aspects of it and I take it very seriously on the other hand I think probably most of your audience would would agree with me that that that whole virus wearing my ask and staying at home and shutting down everything in the United States we practically shut down everything and deciding who's essential and who's not what's essential and what's not what businesses are turned into this huge political weaponization for us in the United States but all over the world all of the world governments got involved in shutting down churches but yet leaving big box stores open and shut shutting down all of these different businesses and events but yet letting people riot in the streets because all around the world we were coming into this political season in most countries but particularly the United States and the impact that the United States has on the world and in Israel as well I've got dear friends that live in Israel and right in the middle of all of their. Covert you know pandemic scared right that the governments weighing in so so it's like here's this book that just addresses specifically people with mask and and masquerade and and con jobs and weaponization of and then I started looking at it not course I knew it was about pi went back through some pages I said defy actually mention this and through there I even mentioned. That as they continue to pour out his masquerade and seizing control of churches and governments and lives and cultures. One of the vehicles would be pandemic. Viral pandemic So I mean I actually brushed on that and talked about right it was and point out that it was the publisher do it right and it was the publisher that picked the title and the cover illustration correct yeah yeah and again you wrote this back in the summer before coronavirus So it's all prophetic in the back story is prophetic and of course the contents very prophetic and we'll we'll discuss that masquerade prepare for the greatest con job in history Carl gallops you you focus on. There are 4 parables in Matthew that you begin with and I'd like to know what is the significance of those 4 parables just give us kind of an. An overview because and when we come back from the break which is we're about 67 minutes away here but we'll delve into those those 4 parables in a little more detail but why do you begin with these 4 parables What are the and what is their significance Yeah thank you just very very quickly we get into a deeper later on I know you're up against a break but the 4 parables of the parable of the sower and I'll give the context to in just a 2nd the parable of the weeds or the tears as it's called I think in the King James and some other versions but the weeds the parable of the mustard seed and then the parable of the yeast Now those are the 1st 4 there are 7 parables that Jesus actually told. But the last 3 have a different context and it's very clear the contextual shift but the 1st 4 are quite astounding because just very quickly and I go into great detail in the book but very very quickly it speaks of this kingdom of heaven that that is being established with God in the flesh on the earth in the person of Jesus Christ who's headed to the Cross who's going to come from the grave alive who's going to change the calenders of the world who's going to change the whole dynamic of the world you know for thousands of years this Christ is standing on the shores of Galilee delivering these parable saying the kingdom of heaven is like the kingdom of heaven is like here's what's going to happen and I'm paraphrasing but he's saying here's what's going to happen as this moves forward this this world changing event of me in the cross and the resurrection and the Gospel and and all 4 of those parables and we can unpack them later if you'd like in detail is speak of this insidious infiltration of the work of the Kingdom of God this in filter. By the demonic realm of Satan the demonic realm and Jesus says that and it speaks of as it gets closer and closer to the return of the Lord which is a major theme of the Bible all the way to the very last book that this is going to happen kind of like Noah you know built a ship and said hey it's going to happen the flood is coming you better get right well that the Bible says it's going to happen again as it was in the days of Noah so will it be and Jesus is standing there 2000 years ago saying there's going to come a form of deception and demonic infiltration especially in the kingdom of God the work of the Kingdom of God especially in quote the church the visible institution of the church and so I break those down I tear them apart I everything that I do in my books you know this Richard I don't pull this stuff out of my back pocket I appeal to world renowned scholars I go all the way back to the early church right up to modern day time world renowned a biblical language experts and and then right out of the pages of history right out of the pages of modern day geo political happenings and science and and eccentric and so I show Friends these parables that what's happening now is a vacuum Lee what Jesus said was going to happen before his return. And I think I don't want to put I don't want to speak for everyone but for me I mean I thought the interesting thing was they they don't mean what I thought they meant in fact they mean quite the opposite in some instances now we have about 3 minutes here let's let's talk about just a bit about the 1st parable the parrot the parable of the Sower you know someone who so. Yeah yeah Ok yeah well no you're right I mean so many of the scholars down through the years have looked at these parables and say oh these these these parables speak of the tremendous growth of the church and the power of the of the Word of God and how everything just gets bigger and better and bigger and better and you know it's not when you read it in context when you pull apart the word studies you begin to realize Jesus is not bragging about how huge His Kingdom is going to be on this earth because he very clearly says through out the scriptures that Satan right now he is the God little g The God of the of this world the prince of the power of the of the prince of this world so what he's saying is that he came as an infiltrator we are His ambassador as those of us who are believers and and again I know not all of your audience is is into that but I'm just I'm describing what's happening in the world and the very 1st parable the parable of the Sower Jesus speaks of you know a farmer goes out to sow with seed me scatters the seed and and then it speaks about some falling here and some falling on this some falling on rocky places and hard ground along the path and then it speaks of the birds of the air came and ate them up then later on he actually gives in Matthew 13 a gives the interpretation of that he said look he said the seeds that's the gospel and the solar is the person that goes out to so the you know the the farmer of course is the Lord himself but but we are the sources his workman but the birds of the air. Haman ate the seeds in almost all of those paths and he says the birds of the air these are those that do the bidding of these up in the factory Speaker this is a these are up at the bottom ground these are right Carla going to jump in right here. It's really 2 different dimensions if you will and I you know my book Gods of. Of oh goodness gods of the final Kingdom it was before masquerade I really go into the entered the Menchu dimensional condition of the universe and how the word of God describes this from beginning to end but this birds of the air illustration is a is a perfect illustration because the birds. Especially those that are carnivores and swoop down and kill more or look for a fun thing that's rotting and dead there in a dimension that a human being no human being can just leave the Earth and take off on his own accord and go up into that air yet those birds are there now they can come down to our realm but then they can also separate themselves and that is a picture of the demonic realm it's interdimensional they can come into our realm we can't go into theirs they can swoop down they can do their destruction they can they can eyeball they can smell what's happening from above and so that's why this is used as a metaphor of evil often times in the Bob there are a few times when birds are mentioned that are just the birds we think of that fly around in the Lord knows how to even take care of the birds and the sparrow and yada yada but most of the time as I said all the way through to the Book of Revelation the when you run into this metaphor it is a metaphor of the realm of evil and I think that probably answers your question so yeah and so you burn the 1st terrible of the parables I'm sorry going right no that's all right in the 1st parable of the seeds the idea here are the birds come down they scoop up the seeds which is the gospel where it doesn't take root in which is kind of an indictment against the church because we're not we're not taking in other words the gospel the Word of God is not taking root in us and so it's easy picking. For these birds to come up and scoop them up Correct correct and it's an indictment just against the unbelieving world then and again I'm not keyed I'm not being disparaging here I'm just telling what the Word of God says and I'm not you know speaking of any particular person just look at the planet with what 7.47.5000000000 people close to 8000000000 people on the planet now and I mean you know by and large I mean the Word of God says this but but it's right before our eyes all let's just use the the number 7000000000 for Psych of this discussion all 7000000000 of us all fall and all 7000000000 of us are capable of the most vile evil given the right conditions and yes most of us are pretty capable of doing some good things but but there's this dichotomy there's this cosmic struggle in every soul of 7000000000 people no one on the planet lives perfectly you know according to God's word and consistently and without hypocrisy How can that be kind of 7000000000 Well so what this what this parable is illustrating that that is preyed upon that is fed up on by the birds of the of the mom demonic around they can smell it they can sense that they can see it they can swoop down they can influence our realm and it's all it's all again a metaphor it's an example that Jesus is using to warn the people that are following him that will soon be those that make up the 1st church and then from there the kingdom of God will grow and spread all over the earth as we see it now and of course I I deal in the book with the fact that there's look there's the visible institution just because you see a building with 4 walls and stained glass windows doesn't mean that God has to inhabit any of that it doesn't mean that it even belongs to his kingdom or their entire denominations and I'm not going to name it I'm just saying there denominations that have wandered so far from the Word of God there. Individual churches they're individual people they're people with collars around their neck pastors priests you know leaders teachers in the church the institutional visible church so there's that and then there is what the Bible speaks of as basically the real church those who you know who are who are serious who are committed who Jesus said Jesus himself said who are born again it's a spiritual thing it's something that comes from above and so Jesus is just warning look in the last days it's going to get real hard to tell where the real church is and where it's not because the enemy is continually working for 2000 years since the beginning of the church right up until the time of the return of the Lord this is Cosmic War and Satan is masquerading in all kinds of evil forms and one of the ways is right in the middle of what we would call the church the visible instill tensional the nomination of church worldwide. So I want to move to the next 3 parables fairly quickly here because in the parable of the chairs with. What's that all about well and Jesus defines that one as well but it just he says the kingdom of heaven is like a man he says good seed in this field or we know he says but while everyone sleeping Isn't that interesting the enemy comes and will later to give the meaning of this whole parable says the enemy of Satan and then he so Swedes among the wheat or tears and what we know from a tear is that that's that is a weed but it looks almost identical to wheat and the course of the wheat sprouts. Jesus says and forms you know the head and then brings forth the fruit the wheat but the weeds are among them and they don't produce the fruit of the wheat but yet they look the same and so in the parable he says you know that the that they have servants came and said to the owner did it didn't you so good seed in your field all this week we're. Well where did all these weeds where all these terror come from and the owner of the says Well an enemy did this during the night while we were sleeping he comes and of us and then the servant say would you want to go out and pull him up he says no I don't because you're going to uproot some of the wheat with it just wait until the harvest time and then I will tell the harvesters 1st collect the weeds me and destroy them and then bring the wheat into my barn so so the whole parable speaks of look again it's it's it's like the parable of the seeds it's he's he's warning the people who will be who will actually be the 1st to birth the church after His resurrection he's telling them as this continues to grow and not just them he's telling us because this word goes for all the way down into our day and beyond He's warning us that that we have to be ever vigilant we cannot go to sleep especially as the world grows a little dimmer and dimmer and dimmer and eventually darker and darker Jesus warns us disciples that we've got to work while they're still light there's a day when darkness is going to sweep the planet and it will be so hard to work and so we're watching a lot of that happen now we see it this this covert pandemic kind of you know really brought it to the limelight brought it out front of the viruses to as it's a virus and we're going to have to probably live with it until Jesus comes one way or the other and we'll develop vaccines and all these different things but the bottom line is it did something to the church it did something to the world we live in a completely different world than we did just 10 or 20 years ago with instantaneous communication information systems and so the tears are among them we know how and it's and you can barely tell who's who you know and that's the purpose of that particular parable. Ok so then we move on to the mustard seed which is always confounded me like as a strange plant to think about you know why would jesus refer to a mustard plant of all plants Yeah yeah well in this parable this is a very short parable and the one after it the yeast is even short of s.t.s. One Senate but this parable Now remember remember the context he starts off with the you know the planting the seeds and falling on 4 different kinds of soil and 3 of the 4 kinds of soul it just doesn't work because the birds of the air come down they destroy the seeds only those that are really planted correctly with deep roots do they you know do they take but Jesus said this is the enemy then the parable of the weeds are I see at the wheat but then you have the tears that look just like it and they look the same well who did this well that it was while people were sleeping it was Satan it was the enemy then he continues in the next breath he speaks of the He says the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed which a person takes some plants in his field though it's the smallest of all the seeds and I know that I mean I've planted gardens before vegetable garden it's those seeds are so t.v. You can barely even see and feel no light little grains of sand he says yet when it grows and what he's going to describe is not what happens when you plant a mustard seed so he's speaking of it metaphorically he's everybody there were listening would know that if he's very clear he says so plants a seed is the smallest of all seed yet when that when it grows and what he means by it but yet when this one that I'm metaphorically speaking of in my illustration when this one grows it becomes the largest of the garden plants Well the mustard plant is not the largest of garden plants and then it goes on the other something unnatural going on or some natural says and then it becomes a tree well no mustard seed turns into a tree but then look at this dead give away so that the birds of the air come in. Perch in its branches Now that's amazing to me because I found so many scholars not all of them of course but so many of them look at this and they wanted so bad for these parables to mean that oh the kingdom of heaven is just going to grow and grow and grow and look we're a part of it and we're you know we're prophets some preachers and commentators and this is amazing but that's not what Jesus is saying in fact the next parable makes it clear but but in this one he's already told us just a few breaths back that the birds of the air are the. Monic realm of the enemy who he defines in the parable of the wheat and the tears as Satan then he comes into this parable of the mustard seed which does not grow into a tree so something unnatural happens and what happens this is the kingdom work but it's being infiltrated it's being provided it's being. You know diluted with this with with evil planting of tears among the wheat and he says it again he says in The Birds of their common perch in its branches Now listen. Protestant Catholic doesn't matter anything with the Christian world what are we treated to in the headlines around the world in this world of instantaneous 247 information communication systems internet 600 internet eccentric cetera or do we treated to a continual outpouring of the filth and the wickedness that is in high places in the visible institutional church all over the world this thing has grown to this huge unnatural institution some of the some of the some of these institutions and nominations and and segments of the Christian faith are are hard to distinguish from the governments and bureaucracies and the power and the wealth than the perversion that gets involved in all of this and that's exactly what Jesus said he's saying through these parables he's saying those that call themselves children of God had better be where you had better be discerning as it gets closer and closer to the end as it gets closer and closer to the return of the Lord it's going to be very very difficult to distinguish what is true and what's not in fact Paul goes on to talk about the doctrines of demons that will infiltrate the church in the last days and there's where he's speaking of Satan himself masquerades as though he's a messenger an angel of light and goodness and righteousness but he is not fine going to get wickets Finally we get to the finally we get to the parable of the Yeah Yeah I love this but what he's doing he takes one sentence and he wraps up all 4 of the 1st 4 I mean he he he just tells us I'm telling you about the evil infiltration of Satan this is what he's saying so here it is as the last one it's one sentence verse 33 of Matthew 13 says the kingdom of heaven is like East that a woman took a mixed into about 60 power.
