Back in september, my friend donald said he had had his lawyers look at this from every which way. There was no issss there. There was nothing to this birther issue. The fact is theres a big overhang. Theres a big question mark on your head. And you cant do that to the party. You really cant and you know this really was the showdown of the night. We were waiting for it because and donald trump go at it face to face before. Because you know, really ted cruz has had this kind of bear hug strategy and they havent really gone head to head. Tonight, of course, that was over. You saw this lengthy back and forth over this birther argument. And ted cruz essentially saying that that donald trump wasasust playing politics. That before he said it wasnt a problem, now that hes closing in on the polls, now its a problem. Who would have known the bromance would have ended over the birthers. The mere fact it was a topic means trump has really made an impact there. The other moment that was trending ought night long, the hash tag newyorkvalues. Take a look.
