The Iowa Division of criminal investigation found the body of they found the body of Michael Robinson at a home in the same area a couple days later. A Johnson County woman received a sentence of 10 years in prison yesterday for her involvement in the death of her 20monthold son. 21 year old Mireya Balderas had pleaded guilty last october to a number of charges, including child neglect and child endangerment. An autopsy showed that 1year old Marcus Balderas died from Blunt Force Trauma in april 2012. Police say the actions of 23 yearold jorge perez, who was balderas boyfriend and the boys fathehe ultimately led to the childs death. Abuse by perez and balderas resulted in broken ribs, bruises, and internal injuries on the day of their sons death. Perez has already started serving a 50 year sentence. He pleaded guilty last june to child endangerment resulting in death. A man facesa threat of terrorism charge, after calling in a bomb threat to Iowa City West High School on tuesday. Police say 30yearold Clifton Brinkmeyer did that just 20 minutes of that, he faces a 2nd degree robbery charge.
