That means the county has to make sure at least 57 machines are up, running and properly counting votes. Percent confident, but we feel good, and thats what this testing does. These machines are ten years old. The county plans to get new equipment next year. That could cost up to 1 million dollars. For this election though theyll stick with the old faithfuls.
