They talked about renovating the pool at Hempstead High School and even partnering with the city to build an Aquatic Center. But now thats all on hold. Every single day, students from Hempstead High School fill this swimming or swim practice. But theres a mysterious leak somewhere in the pool. Were losing water and we keeee refilling the p pl as needed. And the rest of the pool leaves little to be desired. Its not deep enough for the school to host large swim meets. And theres not much deck space. E. Hats why, last year, the School District announced plans to partner with the city of dubuque to possibly replace this pool with an indoor aquati center. But many patients have concerns about the push to privatizatioio medicaid participants have until december 17th to sign up for one of the four plans the privatized system will offer. Unlike many hearings statewide earlier on the idea of privatizing medicaid, this was strictly to discuss a handndl of after reading the changes, only one person offered a public comment. A handful of peoe who work with medicaid clients did stay to help each other. Were all are just trying to go to whatever information we can to make the transition as smoothly as possible but two clients say they still need to know if managed Care Companies will let them keep their current doctors.
