A waterloo man is free this morning after a jury found him not guilty of first degree murder. Jurors acquitted 25 year old Perquondis Holmes for the death of. Daequan campbell three years ago. Year ago, a jury found holmes guilty, but a judge threw out that verdict. Thats because jurors in the first trial saw evidence they werent supposed to see. Prosecutors claimed holmes fired a gun at a car in a waterloo parking lot in november 2013, killing campbell. Polk county investigators say two people found dead on tuesday were likely dead in the home north of des moines for a few days. Deputies found 26 yearold raymond silbaugh. And 42yearold alicia arpy dead in the home between des moines and ankeny. They say there were no obvious signs of did not have electricity.
