Nrfs latest survey finds that 135. 8 Million Consumers plan to shop thanksgiving weekend and nearly 80 percent of holiday shshppers 183. 8 Million People plan to shop on cyber monday. In a suburb of des moines, black friday shoppers had to stop what they were doing and evacuate the building. According to kccitv fire alarms went off at the target store near the jordan creek mall at 8 45 last night. The minor fire was reportedly inside the front end of the store. Criminal ccmplaints dettil what led the university of iowa to release hawk alerts after several women say they were groped. Police arrested 32 yearold Adam Weinstein wednesday. He faces one count of third dederee sexual abuse, four counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, and three counts of third degree harassment. Complaints filed by the university of Iowa Department of Public Safety show the first attack happened around 1 15 am on november tenth. Documents say weinstein approached a woman at ui hc and asked her to have sex. When she said o, he forcibly kissed her and put his hands down her pants. The next attack happened just before 3 am at the melrose avenue parking ramp, when documents say weinstein touched the inner thigigof a pprking cashiee. Complaints show the next three attacks happened that afternoon. They happened again at uihc, outside the fieldldhouse and the adrangle courtyard. The paperwork states in each case, weinstein grabbed the women and made sexual comments. Weinstein could face more than 18 years in prison. Officers arrested 30 yearold Nicholas Kollasch on the felony charges. Police also arrested him in april of this year for a hit and run accident. In which they say he assaulted an officer. An abandoned dog is getting a new leash on life and a new job in central iowa. And its partially thanks to a 5yearold from ankeny. This week, tristan sommerfeld welcomed the newest member of the Ankeny Police forcee bosco is a 1yearold lab mix and is ready to sniff out crime in polk county. Tristan helped raise money to train bosco and bring him to iowa from a rescue shelter in indiana. Instead of asking for presents on his october birthday, he asked for donations to go to the Police Departments k9 fund. Altogether, tristans friends and family donated more than 15 hundred dollars. Its paying it forward and gifting to the community and the superheroes we call the police and the Fire Department and the people that serve. Combined with tristans donations, the city of ankeny raised 30thousand dollars to get bosco. Police say hes trained to work on missing persons and drug cases.
