Then each year, it would go up by a dollar until an hour. The first increase would happen at the beginning of next year. Johnson county was the first to increase its county minimum wage. The wage there will go up to 10 dollars and 10 cents an hour on january 1st. In may, it increased to nine dollars and 15 cents an hour. Five cities opted out of the increase. A seat on an honor flight costs 550 dollars. And students in central city dont want veterans to pay for it. Today, Central City High School and elen a fundraising effort to see how many veterans they can put on the honor flight.
