During the search and rescue, fire cws found a woman inside the home. First responders pronounced her dead at the the Fire Department has not released her name. The fire and the womans investigation. A High School Wrestler from spencer has died after he collapsed on the mat during a match this weekend. Senior Austin Roberts was in the title match in the 220 weight class at the spencer invitational on saturday. The superintenden t roberts and his opponent walked back to the center of the mat when he collapsed. He later died at a hospital. The School Superintenden t says his death was tough on his schoolmates. Austin was a student that was bigger than life in many ways, a large young man, 220 pounder student, with a laugh as big as any room you can put him in. Good kid he placed 8th in the class 2a state wrestling tournament last spring. A crisis Team Provided grief counseling at Spencer High School yesterday. A car crashed into a group of people in las vegas, killing one person and injuring dozens of others. Six people are in critical condition. Police say a vehicle drove up on the sidewalk in front of the paris hotel and casino. Authorities say terrorism has been ruled out, but they are investigating the crash as intentional. A Cedar Rapids Group is hosting a walk today to honor the lives of two Homeless People murdered earlier this year. The Catherine Mcauley center is hosting the Memorial Walk today. Back in september, police found 56yearold Raymond Ursino strangled to death in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian church. Less than a week later, police found 41yearold sharon mead strangled to Death Outside of coe college. 44yearold Travis Standlee will go to trial for the two murders in may. He has pleaded not guilty. Homeless advocates from around the state will gather today at the State Capitol building in des moines. Each run is basically a 26 mile marathon. We joined them december 12th as they ran cerro gordo county. That meant running past clear lake. And running through the traffic of mason city. They have seen many interesting things along the way. Both mentioned a siting in Mitchell County we were running by a barn with doves circling around. It was beautiful.
