The county says it wants to make sure the election is fair. People come up with all sorts of ideas of what might happen. But, the fact is is that we use paper ballots that we keep the county will keep those ballots for 22 months after a general election. A recent Washington Post poll now shows the majority of both republicans and democrats believe voter fraud occurs. And iowa Election Officials say they are working to make sure it doesnt. A man in eastern iowa who was his partners has taken a plea deal. 35yearold adam musser of coralville pleaded not guilty to five counts of criminal transmission of an infectious disease. Police say he passed hiv to two women last year after telling them he was diseasefree. Musser was set to go to trial this week, but according to court records. He changed his plea to guilty and took a deal yesterday. We are working to get more details on the specifics in that deal. Into the back of a Springville School bus is in the hospital this morning with life threatening injuries. The Linn County Sheriffs Office says it happened shortly after 3 30 yesterday afternoon near highway 151 and stone road. First responders had to pull the driver out of her vehicle before taking her to the hospital. Authorities have not released her name. Six students were on the bus. One of them had minor injuries. California authorities are trying to identify two more People Killed in a major passengers on board died when the bus crashed into the back of semitruck over the weekend.
