Reporter you can see the smoke miles away. This is a massive fire. I was able to confirm that homes have burned. They are confirming that structures have been lost in right now 11,000 acres are burning and 3,000 people are evacuated. Theres a lot more that are preevacuation notice. But 3,000 people evacuated as this fire continues to push east into pueblo county. Were headed to west cliff on the western side of this fire and that is as far as well be able to get on the western side. We have crews on the other side there. This is a fire thats been fueled by these winds down here. 70mile an hour wind gusts earl littler this morning. In the car, because you just cant really hear me if im outside. It is dry and it is a tinderbox. A lot of folks are going to be impacted by this fire. Do you know how many homes may have burned and then how many mores may be threatened. Right now they have the 3,000 people evacuated. They say there are 140 homes that are immediately threatened right now. They dont have a number for how many homes have burned but buildings lost including homes. This is all happening since around 3 40 this morning when the first calls came in about smoke. Between 3 40 to here we are at noon. This thing has exploded to 11,000 acres and it is continues to grow. It is very dry out here. We were down here earlier this summer for the fire. A lot of winds are coming here it is pretty remarkable to see the amount of smoke down here. There are Health Advisories in place right now for People Living in pueblo and elsewhere in south eastern colorado. Matt, thank you so much. Well update you as we get more information on that. A man is under arrest in connection with a bomb left outside of a building. The bomb did not go off. And rick solihger has the report. Reporter the man whos 64 yearold David Michael ansbury the week end. Hes being described physically as a little person. About 37 tall. He was arrested after getting off a plane. The explosive device was discovered last the tuesday at the Netherland Police headquarters. It was in a backpack that was taken inside. When the pack was en revealed to be a bomb. It was determined it was a sophisticated device. Damnation was apparently attempted by whoever left it there but it failed. A reverse 911 call went out to residents later before the device was purposely detonated in order to make it safe. The remaining parts were sent to the fbi lab for examination.
