In total, 140,000 and what they lost from susan and her husband herman who republican that business term who ran that business together. They would request half or full payment upfront. And then the scam comes into play when they dont use the money to complete the projects. Knew kitchens for less was tanking, susan and her husband herman continued to solicit business. They took my money knowing that, and left a single parent taking care of an elder Family Member with nothing. I had no kitchen, no main bathroom, and an open sewer line for five months. Reporter christines story is just one of 27. And it goes even further. Jason took over the building the hinajosas worked out of, but not before giving herman 19,000 to go into business together. Hinajosas file forward bankruptcy shortly after. And it took jason months to get them out of the building. I couldnt even sign the lease yet fully because the bankruptcy protected herman. And we couldnt even kick them out for the first two months. Reporter jason ended up finishing some of the victims kitchens for free. And the hinajosas never paid him back in full. Most of our victims will see after her sentence is complete. I think justice has been served with that sentence. There was so much more that was taken from me. Were told he will be in court sometime this month in relation to this particular case. That driver hit a crossing park avenue west tuesday night. She went to the hospital in critical condition. Police believe several people were in that car that hit her. A hit and run driver in fort collins is accused of intentionally running over a pedestrian. Police say ma krauss hit the victim from behind as he was walking at the Hickory Village mobile home park. A warrant is out for his arrest. Investigators say he and the victim do know each other. Its not clear what motivated the alleged attack. A Denver County home to hundreds of troubled teens each year is shutting down. 29 kids currently live at the Family Crisis Center. And theyll have to find a new place by july. I was floored and i found these folks were so intelligent and so in tune with everything around them, there just is no reason not to at least give them a chance. Reporter Los Angeles Police announced friday that investigators are now testing a knife that a construction worker allegedly found on the property formerly owned by oj simpson. Lapd became aware of an item that was allegedly recovered by a citizen at the rockingham property, possibly during the demolition of the site.
