The homeowner accused of pulling the trigger may have been trying to protect his hot plants. The home is in the 2800 block of high street near 26th in york. Denver police tell us that teenagers tried to climb over the fence to steal a mans pot a decision proved deadly. There was about six initially and then a little break and then two more. Reporter Denver Police got a call from a 14yearold saying he had been shot and his 15yearold friend keelan mosley was dead. Police used shot spotter in the backyard of this home. Allegedly shot by 48yearold keith hammock after climbing his fence and trying to steal his illegal outdoor pot plants. We proceeded to watch you know, the ambulance come and wheel off two individuals. Reporter the 14yearold is in critical condition. And may be paralyzed. Police say hammock told them the teens jumped over the fence and found them lying on the ground. Offiat near hammocks second floor window.
