This is also where witnesses say they saw suspects run from Police Officers and several shots. Withins say when police swarmed this parking lot, this gray volvo took off. Rita salazar was in the park lot waiting with her grandchildren when the shots rang out. They were right on them. Reporter according to Denver Police, two men and a woman were inside that vehicle they believe was involved in a carjacking in at some point, the suspect brought out a handgun, and officers opened fire. Reporter one of the suspects wounded, the other 24 in custody. Police did not say whether the suspect fired any shots, only that no officers were hurt in the shooting. Involved in the shooting has been put on paid administrative leave which is standard. This man is accused of approaching children and making disturb comments. Reporter Engelwood Police say the man was approaching students as they got home from park. This is the face of a man Police Believe is trying to lure kids into his van. It happened after School Monday as Elementary Students were dropped off by their school bus near baker park in engelwood. The man comments according to police. Students avoided the stranger person, telling their parents about what happened who later report today to police. The man is described as white, 20 to 30 years old with brown hair, driving a black and gray astrominivan. One man says he saw the suspect outside his home tuesday afternoon. That neighbor says he saw the man in a graycolored van writing someth i then as he was approached, sped away from the area. The crime was last week near sixth and a man and woman accused of stealing from a center in broomfield. They store wallets and is car keys. The pair was last seen in a silver chrysler sebring.
