A 94yearold woman was trapped inside her home and a tornado just destroyed it. About 10 homes were destroyed and tens of thousands were left without power. Reports of serious injuries. When they arrived, they say yahia fired a shot and officers fired back and killed him. Sgt. Gary lang its such an involved case. I know they are still working really hard on it. Eric two fishermen are being called heroes this morning, after saving the life of an indianola man at lake ahquabi sunday. Officials say Richard Rauzi was taking wildlife pictures when the ice underneath him broke. Two ice fisherman heard his cries for help and rushed across the lake to his rescue. Damian bell went in with a canoe, placing a tie strap around richards waist, who was motionless, and barely conscious. The dnr says a likely tragedy was averted, thanks to the quick action by the two ice fishermen. Ice fishing that day, he wouldnt have stood a chance. I mean, he wouldnt have made it. Theres no doubt in my mind that he wouldnt have made it. Eric richard is recovering in a local hospital. Dnr officials tell kcci they plan to nominate the two ice fisherman for the governors lifesaving awards program. Elizabeth the bus driver charged with running over and killing an Iowa State University student will go on trial april 5th. 23yearold benjamin clauge entered a written plea of not guilty monday in a story county courtroom. Ames Police Charged clague with running over 18yearold emmalee jacobs with a cyride bus near campus in december. To hear a case that involves the estate of late slipknot member paul gray, and his former doctor daniel baldi. Gray died of a Drug Overdose back in may of 2010. Grays estate filed a lawsuit against baldi, but a lower court threw it out, the estate says that court made a mistake and wants the iowa prosecutors charged baldi with Involuntary Manslaughter in connection with grays death, but a jury found baldi notguilty.
