Only about the outlook for the next seven days is looking pretty good, especially for the weekend. High temperatures in the 60s. Next week, we are going to need the jackets and the umbrella. Elizabeth thanks, metinka. This morning a firedup donald , trump is making headlines for his jabs at just about everyone last night in fort dodge. Mr. Trump how stupid are the people of iowa . How stupid are the people of the country to believe this crap . Elizabeth that was just one of several controversial statements during his 95 minute appearance last night. This morning, eric hansons live with more of what trump had to say and preps for the democratic debate tomorrow. Eric trump did not hold back at all last night. He spent most of his time he did not hold back speaking about his chief rival, ben carson saying he has a , pathological temper that cant be cured and questions his story of nearly stabbing a friend. Mr. Trump let me tell you, im pretty good at this stuff. So i have about. Someone hits me with a belt, it moves this way, it moves that way. He hit the belt buckle. Anybody have a knife, want to try it on me . Believe me, it aint gonna work. Youre going to be successful, but he took the knife and went like this and he plunged it into the belt and amazing the belt stayed totally flat and the knife broke. Eric trump also questioned the time carson claimed he nearly punched his own mother, both stories carson recounted in his book gifted hands, about his upbringing in detroit. Trump has sharpened his criticism of carson especially in the last couple of days. A cnn poll last week showed trump with 25 support in iowa, carson with 23 . Trump also criticized Hillary Clinton saying she is playing , the womens card, big league. Tomorrow night, clinton will be right here at Drake University along with Bernie Sanders and Martin Omalley for the democratic debate. Kcci is proud to cosponsor this debate with cbs news. Emmy students are really excited at drake, to have the ability to play part. Students will be really engaged in some of those watch parties. They will be really interested in finding out exactly who is going to be the next president , and i have a lot of goals for that person. The candidates will have a short time to address a wide variety of topics. Bernie sanders has a really strong view on free public education. Id like to hear more concrete plans on ways that he would like to accomplish that. At mizzou and yale, there is a lot of talk about racism, and i think that will be an interesting topic. I am interested to hear the candidates stance on gun ownership. That has become a very prevalent topic. Mark a couple emmy a couple of other things we are hearing, immigration and College Affordability, just a number of different topics to watch for the debate. Eric thank you very much, emmy. Tomorrow night as the debate is actually going on, we will be checking in live with 10 uncommitted College Students and 10 uncommitted adults. We had a chance to catch up with one of those voters on what he is looking forward to hearing tomorrow night tonight. Youre not 100 sold on anyone until you get into that room and start mixing it up with your fellow democrats. As a democrat you love everything that bernie says.
