Des Moines Police reports show there were two incidents that occurred between johnson and the 16yearold female student. The first was december 1 when johnson used his position as a teacher to gain access to the students personal cell number and call her. Two days later, johnson pulled her out of class, and took her to his own class room where johnson allegedly kissed and touched the victim. We spoke with the mother of a varsity Girls Basketball player. She tells us she never noticed anything inappropriate between johnson and any of the girls on the team. She says the charges against johnson hit the girls hard. I think it is really important they lean on each other. I know Counseling Services were available to the the team as well as other students in the school, and i relaly think it is important they turn to each other and support each other through this.
