Some believe subtracting biden will boost Hillary Clinton. I dont. The people i know who are for biden are an Interesting Group of people, certainly not onedimensional. I think theyll look at the other candidates. Cynthia when he ran for president in 2008, biden had less than 1 of the vote in the iowa caucuses. To be willing to put yourself and your family through the ringer for a long time, is not a pleasant process. Steve stranger danger. 2 central iowa children report being offered candy by 2 men in a pickup truck. Tuesday afternoon in altoona as the children were walking from elementary school. They say a white chevy s10 or ford ranger pickup pulled up next to them. The men inside allegedly offered the kids candy and asked them to get in the truck. Police say the children describe the driver as having brown hair, a goatee, and a black hat. The passenger also had brown hair and a hat. Stacey a des moines mom is charged with child endangerment after an incident in a Grocery Store parking lot. 28yearold shauna davis is being held in the polk county jail on 5,000 bond. Police were called to the hyvee on southeast 14th street monday night. Davis told officers she lost her wallet and had been driving around the parking lot looking for it when an suv started to follow her. The driver accused her of hurting her son. Officers at the scene said the child told them mama hurt, mama , hurt. The child was taken to blank Childrens Hospital with marks on him. That case is still under investigation. An overnight traffic stop ends in a deadly officerinvolved shootout. The Cedar Rapids Police Department Says one of 3 drug deal suspects ran from the car after it was stopped around 10 30 tuesday night. 2 officers and a police dog chased the man, who police say opened fire on the officers. They fired back, killing the man. The officers and police dog were not hurt. The iowa dci identifies the man as 21yearold Jonathan Gossman of cedar rapids.
