Right away the 1st thing that happened since really the airports were pretty much shut down airlines were shut down at the beginning. When they're going to start traveling again when planes are going to start going to the air again and then process. And because we cater to the international gas engine or even slower so we were very close with the airports it was really up to us when we can open up when we felt there was enough business to be done to open up. And and we did again there was a lot of preparation for every store that we that we started opening up there was preparations from the c.d.c. We had to follow the guidelines we had to put shields by the registers of the boat has an advisor machines all over the store we you know we have to go to all the checks and balances everyone has to wear a mask in the store. All of our employees have to be tested you know what we read and test what you know and our employees to make sure one is quiet if someone ends up sick it's another problem with the shut down the store again for a couple weeks possibly send everybody home and bring a new crew when it's it's been challenging but we it's really up to us to open up we were fortunate to have very good relations with the airport understanding and they want us they would like us to be open not every airport is open most of them are called and that's the issue exactly walked away airports and some are and some are not that's why I asked you the question Who makes that decision but you answered me I guess the good news here is that you know American citizens can now fly to Mexico and bookings are looking up a little bit for the holidays coming up as well as flying to the Caribbean so real quick before we run out of time I know we're talking about the airport locations but just so our listeners understand you have quite a few locations I understand are not all open but many are I checked your site called the Border stories and you're in a lot of states around the u.s. Is the process just as easy at the border stores so the Borders stores because our business is considered essential businesses. That was right before I left. For London for a few days for the last trip I have taken since 10 lot of people are saying Last Christmas is awful but you're well overall things are good Absolutely yes Ok Well good to hear that so want to get to this dinner Mary and I we enjoy b.t.n. And something that we wanted to talk with you about today is what some of the hotels like Hilton or Marriott or high and some of the others are looking to do to give people an alternative to using the Home Office we spoke with Amanda Zabel from resort pass a bit earlier on the show but to expand upon it for listeners around the country. Yes Well I think it's part of a change we're going to be seeing in terms of how people work really I mean this one thing that this pandemic is shown us is that a lot of people are able to work wherever they like so hotels are looking to take advantage of this by maybe setting up areas where people can work sometimes even just for the day you just want to get out of your home for the day and want to have a place to work and then go back home at the end of the day that they're arranged that or if you just want to change scenery for a few weeks and want to work from somewhere else for a couple of weeks they're happy to accommodate that as well yeah it's great I think that we might see this persist even after the pandemic because we are going to see a lot of people have policies that companies where you can work from wherever you like maybe not on a permanent basis but I think if someone wants to go stay in a hotel or a resort or an air b.n. B. For you know a couple of months for a change of scenery and work from there. I think businesses might be a lot more accommodating for that I would agree with things like ability factor some large changes Michael I'm Robert mentioned several of the large hotel chains doing that and I'm sure some of the big taking independent properties are as well just give us a couple highlights of what help is doing because I thought there stood out to me the fact that you can earn Hilton honors points sweetens the deal so before we get to the next topic just give us a few details. Right so Hilton is doing some interesting things to be targeting this market and I think that they're one of several hotel coming. They're doing that Mariano recently does something as well particularly for their Bon Voyage members just to really accommodate this because I think you know business travel as what we're used to seeing people having to go from point a to point b. That's still several years off in terms of recovery so this is really where on the business side hotels are going to be having to get their revenues I think I agree with you Michael and I mean obviously high it's doing some things with work from hire all these companies so interesting a question let's talk about something else that you're currently working on with regards to the reopening of these flight corridor or if there's been some chatter about a route opening between New York where we all are in the u.k. Any thoughts on this or any other routes yes so we had some interesting news this week actually united is now doing free testing at Newark for certain flights for all passengers long as you're over 2 years old you actually won't be allowed on the flight if you're not tested now unlike what we're seeing like a whole why even from the other places you still have to quarantine when you get to the u.k. But they're really working through this quarter to where you don't have to quarantine so we're expecting to hear a report from the u.k. I think sometime early in November where they're going to be look as though they may just reduce the quarantine if you've been tested or they may get rid of it altogether will have to see you know I think the reports that I've seen I think you know is going to start that from the New York London route around November 16th through sometime in mid December but the part that struck me is you are correct that you know all the crew members and passengers over 2 are going to be tested but if you refuse the test you're going to be put on a different flight heard understood how that works right well there are other that's only 3 flights a week that they're going to be doing so there will be other flight alternatives but that is different than what we're seeing with say Hawaii as I mentioned they're still letting people on those flights who aren't tested so my name is number it's us English wrong I am a cell maker and an emigrant my son America's forgotten unprepared the unintended consequences. To the Democrats that are not turning the ballots and made that had to be so we're just out there I mean I was doing virtual door knocking from d.c.
