It crazy it did you know Honda or I would be Ok if my kids were scores a 100 because they're so safe in the right reliability the reso And of course as I have stick you don't get stick often in the press lead as you know so it's kind of a good teachable lesson for the kids as well I will say the only complaint I had about this car is that it has a chrome shift knob and it's obvious like it's you by yourself so me I'm down for everybody I'm going to get my you know for the other. When I've driven the canyon in the Colorado a lot of times you put your foot down trying to go on the highway that's most of what I'm doing on your end it takes to a little bit to catch up you know you kind of feel like you're going to get out run and the Ranger to the great job that hence the automatic transmission of hearing out when you don't do you'll feel like you've got plenty of power Everything's smooth it's just well you know Yep well I do like that but I do wonder because the markets get kind of crowded so when you've got the color all of the canyon the Toyota Tacoma which you know there's so more of those and they can make I wonder if only have the one engine choice is going to hurt them. I think that if you're if you're looking at just the everyday customer for this one I think they're going to be happy with that engine if they wanted to get something a little stronger or more torque or something I would have to go up. You know the food chain for Ford and go to the next like an f 150 or something like that in your size. Yeah I would I'm what I'm seeing in the in like the hardcore truck market is a lot of people will let you go option permits aws. And I don't know why I don't know if you need it I feel like the mid-size customer in talking to people well not really using it telling is it's nice to have that option but it's not a crime or usually a Lotus not a primer used and that's one of the other things I have with the ranger I want to see them change the shocks over the suspension a little bit because it rides rough when it's empty. It tends to kind of be bumpy and that's one of the 1st things I noticed and I think it's because you can tell it's only $500.00 pounds you can toll more than Cotto and the Tacoma and it also has a great deal to pass the I think. They sacrifice right quality by giving it that so they can make some adjustments and I'd love to see it because for my use of all of them it's a struct I'm not telling it I'm not doing the payload and I'm just kind of commuting at it I'd rather have a little bit of a smoother ride but. I would think that a full sized truck would be more like Truckee and have more but you're quite right that a mid-size does that make sense. Yeah let me ask you this to both of you. Would you want a raptor version of the Ranger. I think. He has everyone that when I took it to Carson coffee that was the number one question that I got was is it going to come in or after 4 game a serious question. You know because there's a thing I did the roster you know I'm one of them going after and my directors put normal drug but I think probably 75 percent of roster owners do not use the Raptor for what it's designed to do and therefore a lot of on you know how this is getting the Raptor in their RINGBACK garage making it in the garage driving it to work or using it on a regular basis because of the size of it because they're sacrificing fuel economy things like that right so there's a lot of people who aren't buying it because they're like well you know my garage or it's not practical for me to use on a day to day basis I think a sunstruck that has the rocker capability. Of a wall I mean really just on really well this thing that the question our personally have i will all trucks I live in a truck market and when most of the trucks on the road are full sized trucks I have a problem with you get a mid-sized truck that comes in at 42000 and go I keep my full size for let's say 48 and what I'm driving next to is full size or larger I'd rather have a full starstruck for that price that's that's where I come in to. Have an unjustified if that makes sense yeah I think Ford is doing with this and this isn't something that they told me but to me I think what they're doing is they're testing to see if that price point will work for someone who's just looking for they like Ford they're probably already a Ford customer and they want a Ford and they're pricing it where Let's see if they bite and they are. Well yeah and also the thing is I mean as you know forward Chevrolet had a lot of customers. You know might My If you here my uncle bought a Ford My grandfather bought it for my brother my cousin my whatever and so when they are looking for a vehicle they already know it's going to be for they just don't want to go which was right and so not having the Ranger which was gone for 8 years was a big missing piece for them they were losing that there were people in the store was going in the bottom 50 probably not however they probably weren't going to the competition either but now they've made it were people who just need a mid-sized vehicle they're getting their attention they're getting that market share which I think it's great it's very nimble it's very easy to maneuver it's very easy to park they don't have air they're in the back seat which is a problem for me because my kids are riding back there so little bit tight in the back seat 2. For the kids and then that like I said the bouncy ride. I think I had really high expectations for this truck and so sure a little bit for me because you know I've been anticipating the ranger for so long I think I felt like the materials would be newer and more on how the 2012 focus and sitting there in controlling it looking at the steering wheel I kept comparing it to the focus and so I felt like the technology was very similar you know the set up of the steering wheel in the materials used and maybe it was the enough that Larry got but I think I got disappointed in where my expectations were what I was getting and the price if that makes sense. Yeah I was going to ask about the price tag because as the clip the one that I tested was only 35 out the door and the base on it was 27949 I don't think we tested the same one because I certainly didn't have one that went to 42. See this is 42 now the base x l start that 2595 and I loosely see that is selling for England Well the base on the Us was 34 and they head about roughly 60 $700.00 an option. So you're looking at you know it's the series that had the dual doors on climate. Sliding ruined a remote store on an adaptive cruise control it's got the keypad the keyless entry keypad looks like they're charging for the current running or skirting boards or the $635.00 and that's some you could totally do without it did you know I'm a full size truck person I love all such trucks I love the f $150.00 I love the f $150.00 Raptor and it's just hard for me the it is I live in the suburbs so I'm not fighting for perking spots I'm not I don't need something this is generally that small and compact that can find a parking space everywhere therefore on have the trouble of making the jump from you know why would I buy 42 when I could buy 48 have a lot more flexibility and have a full size truck but I think Ford is why they both Ranger back I hope they make the Ranger after and from what I see the demand is already very very high.
