April first. Thats the date announced by the Iowa Governors Office to implement the plan statewide. The proposed plan received federal approval today and would change iowas medicaied to a managed care system following suit to 39 other states. The change has seen stiff opposition in the state capitol. With Senate Democrats looking to pass a measure that would interfere with the medicaid changes. Governor Terry Branstad has already promised a veto if the bill passes. Tim a plea hearing is scheduled in Plymouth County court for a 2014 homicide case.
