The fire caused part of the structure to collapse and the firefighters were hit by the debris. Two other firefighters were also injured however, the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. The storm during Labor Day Weekend last year destroyed or damaged much of the campground including that on site shelter. When Community Leaders heard of the grant opportunity they were thrilled.
