Now, City Planners will have to wait for possibly another vote in the future. The city wants to expand highway 75 from three lanes to five to allow for increased traffic and more safety and also to esthetics. But, many people in town have concerns about making that road through town even more busy and the road getting to close to homes along the way. Theres always confusion with people, pedestrians, trying to cross our highway and we feel we can make it safer, and thats what this project is really about. The enhancements that weve looked at have an led lighting system that flashes on the inside and the outside lanes.
