Because in these United States of America no one no one should ever feel their life threatened over their political believe. That Karen Handel in her victory speech last night to the Republican in the 6th District of Georgia. And there's been a lot of discussion of it yeah it's just one house race but it was a race that Hollywood put a tremendous amount of of money and emotion into and I haven't checked I haven't even checked out Twitter yet how probably do that probably tomorrow you will see a lot of of grieving or just out now right rage because I don't expect the rage to end from the from from the left Yeah you made the comment that you know at the top of the show that Hollywood lost the 6th district in Georgia and I went to end it just came up and on Google News as Variety was one of the sources and. Variety magazine being the Hollywood magazine of course and for a while this morning it was the number one story on Most Popular their number one story on their website it's fall into Number 3 I guess they're getting over there and for a. While And a number 3 you know that the Republican Karen Handel defeats Democrat John also in the special election in Georgia so it's this was a going to be for the Democrats they had hoped that to be the moment they could say look this is you know the the Republicans are being spoiled by. By Donald Trump even Republicans know and a very strong Republican district that Donald Trump's not the future and Republican ideas are the future and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah they would have launched off with this they hope to have launched off of it some kind of victory against Donald Trump and of course once again they failed it didn't happen tens of millions of dollars and it didn't happen so well you know as again a lot of time is is made because the the people that are in power are more highly scrutinized than the people that are not in power and therefore you have a Republican Party that's in charge of everything and so you're going to have of course you're going to have criticism of Republicans more than you're going to have Democrats but even from conservative talk radio you're going to have more criticism because the ones that are actually doing something are the ones that are going to get criticized or complimented either way. But what has been lost in all of this. Is the fact that in 8 months the Democrats have learned nothing you know they were back again last night when I turned on c.n.n. . Believe it was still Don Lemon who was was on with a congresswoman from from Illinois and you know she didn't have a state represent any more if the fiscal situation isn't solve there no but but she was stating that you know she had won in a district that had gone for Trump and he goes Why what what do Democrats have to do now and she said Well what I did was I showed up what. I showed up we had Saturday you know meetings and. We talk jobs and pay you to not tell me what you're going to do or what the Democrats should do hold meetings and talk. The economy and pay well what I mean talk what are you going to do what your what is your plan and it came out again yesterday I mean again just in the 20 minutes that I was watching Well yeah we've got to get off of the identity politics and keep stating it but they're not going anywhere with that and I think you probably articulated the most when we 1st had this discussion I care member that was on the or off the or 1st we had a probably was off the air he just said we're going to go there's no way we're they were for they they they they can't go anywhere you can't go from dividing everybody classifying everybody coming up with new victims a new oppressors every day to the point now we're a lot of the we're the new oppressors are actually people that you represent in your party that used to be victims and now they're the oppressors of the new victims and they're all under the umbrella of your own political party called the you know the called Democrats and but that's where they are right now they're in this type of Catch 22 cycle that they can't get out of. And when you said that the 1st time and they were forgot I thought of your right how do they get out of it you're still way to rebuild the foundation of what they've done the only way you could do it is if you had a. Leader with a ton of charisma who and some charisma and substance of Ok it's impossible. Yeah because you know you from that point the thing is that if because we think of right now look at the ones that you could say have the charisma the energy and I always bring up Cory Booker All right so Cory Booker steps out what does Cory Booker going to promise because here's what you know the Democrats have been Ok well you know. He's not going to be the 1st African-American president that's already happened they promoted that with Barack Obama again not going back on the person they were promoting for Barack Obama skin color versus her gender remember during the primary season it got down to Hillary and Barack Obama you and I remember that one and I forgot what it was where oh I don't know where there was the media talking heads talking about it but you and I never forget playing the audio cut it was about well it's time to have a black president it's time for a woman president black woman black woman black woman and we went looking at other we played it on the air going can you believe this right can you can you believe nothing is about what you actually bring to the table as a candidate what you would actually do right Senator Harris would be the other one and then I know she's been brought up especially since the hearings or the testimony by the attorney general last week the Democrats saw that as a success story for her but I think others have had their eye on her running for office but it doesn't matter who it is let's say they offer up someone. You know and and that person goes up there what are they going to promote How are they going to promote it how do you get around the very basic element of what they have built into people's minds which is that if you are white you have white privilege now those liberals out there the liberal talking heads or professors or whoever it might be out there that are saying these things don't represent the rank and file Democrat as a voter because they're looking at that going. You know I know about injustices and everything else but now you're calling me a racist simply because I just simply because my skin is this color so this is what they have done they have started fracturing the party into those groups but also labeling anyone that's not part of that group right so you separate you start separating and dividing and John Asaf tonight in his speech you know we were out to conquer division right ladies. You hold on a 2nd you're just separated your audience the people that support you by gender that's division that's what you're guilty of that's the reason in part why your party lost in November and why you lost tonight you don't you still don't see it when you do that remember not only are they dividing their patronising for these groups oh we're going to help you we're going to help you which is to say what you don't have the power to help yourself you don't have the power to get out there as an individual and do great things I don't believe that. I believe everybody has that potential and it's up to the individual. Ton of moving parts here in any given equation I won't make predictions but I know the potential of humans because I see them do great things all the time and you know what not based on skin color not based on anything except for your determination to get things done you know and that's that's what this is this whole thing is about but the problem is we've made it too easy. Oh wait a minute Big Government Oh they start expanding the you know whatever it is Medicaid or whatever handout it might be let's start expanding that let's expand that more let's expand that more and then you have people sitting back in their their arm chair going oh well that's bad that's bad now you're trying to walk into that living room and saying I'm going to I'm going to take some of your benefits or the benefits or your neighborhood back no no no no yeah but you still think it's bad yeah it's bad but Ok We're going to roll that back no no no that's mean well and you know as we talked about in fiscal issues especially you're not going to be able you may not be able to tell too much of a difference in 10 years from now between the Democrats and Republicans at times now it's tough to find it who knows I mean I wish there was the editorial piece said that I did read you the headline yesterday that said let's just get rid of the debt ceiling altogether and so he's right should just do a Get rid of the debt ceiling altogether because it's more important that we borrow money then we keep putting ourselves in this situation where the world is afraid that we may not pay our bills so hey what the heck you know why why not do it but when we talk about the things that the Republicans realize they can't do something as simple as we're going to repeal Obamacare they can't do now they think they can do in fact it looks like that we're heading into a point of actually where there is a good chance that they will end up with the bill if they pass a bill that it would be a bill that actually keeps Obamacare because the House plan actually keeps Obamacare under the entire umbrella states can just get waivers out of you know that you can get out of this waiver here get out of this waiver here the key parts of Obamacare right which is which is the art of it right the key parts of it and so and even if you get rid of the individual mandate or don't enforce the individual mandate that just has just means you've got to come up with a subsidy somewhere so the end vidual mandate might not exist which then you ask what's the. The point of having a system like Obamacare if the individual mandate doesn't exist and all they do is is when the Democrats take over they say we're not giving any waivers we can give waivers but we're not going to give waivers therefore everybody's back under the umbrella of Obamacare there is no individual mandate that you must be ended at this at that particular point maybe but the fact is the taxes exist were going into more debt because of it and the subsidies have skyrocketed through the roof to subsidize the insurance companies and the health care plans but it's still going in the same cycle of it's getting more expensive more expensive more expensive there's no competition involved in it whatsoever it is simply moving us closer to maybe not a single payer system immediately but basically a case where the taxpayer is just subsidizing private health insurance were the deductibles are through the roof. Because there is nothing here that I see that would get rid of the deductibles going through the roof if you can't get a waiver anymore it would if let's say the Democrats took over in 2018 so this thing gets passed by the end of the year Democrats you know are or not but no because it wouldn't be the put it would be the the executive branch we Health and Human Services but by 2020 you're back to the old thing sorry the waivers aren't working we're right back to Obamacare again because the shell of Obamacare under the umbrella of the federal government was kept in by the Republicans so they can't even get that done so they can't get that done tell me what they can get done. And believe me I hope I'm wrong but as of right now we see that becoming much more liberal and where they're going to go on taxes well and you know the speaker on Fox News yesterday morning you know guarantees he used the word we guarantee tax for reform will be done this year. Well good luck with that they could pass a bill and call it tax for yeah end up standing up change technically is reform right. Bill you know something we're changing our minds let's raise taxes there we have signed tax reform Yeah. That's and that's the whole threat is that what he was doing was assigning he put a clock on it well that's political expediency and it may not fit your definition because you think well a year really isn't a short period of time that's not really quick but if he's assigning as speaker of the house if he's assigning a clock to it. And what he's saying they're going to get something done it's not about getting it done in time it's about getting it done right 866907333906690 right I love travel stops obviously great retread tire for the same price as it used tire Eric Robb from lives shares their retread process and tells us why it's a better value 1st and foremost we do a visual inspection then we run them through the Indy t. Machine electrify and look for nail holes after that we buff the tire down get the tread rubber off of there and then we send it through sheer auger for you know a lot of retread shops are free if we see something that requires a little more inspection we have x. Ray capability so we can x. Ray that and look for any kind of belt separation and so forth the repair process and we warranty our repairs for the lifetime of the casing which is not typical standard in the industry but the new tread on and then after we've cured it we put it through a final inspection that is rapidly inflated try to make that tire zipper rupture if we can we guarantee that tire that we just built ourselves for a whole year so you have the choice of buying a used tire from us for the same price 199 for a trailer tire we can actually give you a tire that looks as good as a brand new one but we guarantee it for a year that used tire that you pick out that you're trying to find one that fits the best because you've got a budget you you're just trying to get home that's only guaranteed for 7 days or more log on to Love's dot com This maintenance tip is a service a Valvoline h.d. Democratic Party even if it's a mess by the time their leadership I find it really funny especially in a day and age how aggressively passionate their base and it's still the same old Billy appointed leaders who I mean don't care about you know the believes or the opinions or concerns of their base one bit but they're out there fighting for their vote you know I mean but anyone think Schumer Apollo Theater or the war and they're even Hillary there forever earlier than you know a wink of sleep over gun violence or poverty or immigration I mean their kid and. They have this leadership that cares not about what it is they're running on and well it's and you know you hit on something and I would add to it the idea that if you're sitting at home you know and just say you're somebody who supported Democrats or your life. Then you hear all of this where you know it's the identity politics that you know 10 Ryan who ran against Palosi. You know. And and and wanted her position in the house because he was against He's against these this type of approach when he when he was talking when he was mentioning you know what was going wrong the identity politics what they were doing wrong that when you when you say that there might be people that are Democrats rank and file voters sitting at home going Ok I agree with you but what does that do for me everybody votes in their own self interest but when we just want to identify a group. If you're not part of that group what have you done for me that that's the whole point of separating these groups that the vision then all the sudden well I'm not in that sub group or that sub group I'm just me what is it going to do for me because the real things that matter are all right how do I feed my family how do I make the rent how do I do this how do I do that and what's the best opportunity for me out there right now I would like a government you know if it were me sitting there I want to government that gets out of the way and allows businesses to thrive that gets gives me the best opportunity and chance to be successful out there as I can go out there and be competitive and prove myself as an employee as a worker this all of this falls away though when you start focusing on these identity politics because that really is just about show all of that is only about recognition that is the equivalent of a participation trophy we recognize you Ok Now what's because you know that's you know you you you you label all the groups everyone's recognized now what it's about getting back to the work of the American people the real issues on the economy on everything else on the things that affect our daily lives and the Democrats have failed that for several years now there is a difference so between the people that support Democrats and people that support Republicans Republicans if they don't like what the Republican Party is doing is much more volatile those people will be out of office look at this car we won't we use this as the perfect example that when the Democrats and now the Republicans are heard attempting to do health care when the Democrats did health care they actually came out with specific promises that they knew were lies they knew were lies they weren't lying to the Republicans about it because they knew they were going to get Republican votes their lies were directed at Democrats. And they were directed at Democrats because the fear was if we tell Democrats the truth about Obamacare if we tell them it's not going to save them money and we got to tell Moscow same 2500 dollars going to tell me can keep their doctor we got to think up their health insurance we have to tell them a set of lies because of we don't they won't vote for the plan think about this the Democratic leadership and President Obama lie to the Democrats about their health care now there might have been a rubber caution in the election Democrats were never upset at Democrats because of that you never heard fury there were never protests Obama came out of line about Obamacare completely and totally unscathed there was nothing to ever pay for doing it and he was lying they were lying to their own people to their own party we find that amazing we asked ourselves you know the leadership may not respond to what the rank and file want but what does the rank and file want if they're not going to stand for anything if everything is only about imagery and symbolism and nothing is about substance to the rank and file well then they shouldn't be complaining about the leadership because what do they actually want. Yeah yeah thank you we appreciate the call you know goes it goes back to that if you know because they say well the leadership is nothing but lies and they don't they're not for substance of the Democrats one of the people that vote for them about well and that's what it comes down to have because when you ask that question to any American the majority. But the people are going to tell you as we've been saying for years now the number one thing is what the economy why because it gives us the confidence that there's something out there for me that I can go out there and that I'm going to be a because in an economy in a in a greater economy there the companies are going to be more competitive for me as a commodity I have some control of my life I can get a job I can be productive I get in job I cry take care of myself if I can I can live I can live a life and when you live in an area and I've got some young friends of mine going through that right now you know consistently because it's always evolving as they're in their thirty's and forty's and their you know they're making that leap from job to job to job and moving up and it's a very exciting time for me to watch my young friends going through you know that part of their life where that's happening to them and the excitement there now these are a lot of friends I have in Texas in this particular area where the economy is booming it's a total other thing to know some of my friends who live on the West Coast some of my friends who live in that same age group that are in New York and the opportunities are not there and they don't know what to do when there's confusion on one end there's a lack of opportunity and the stress that comes from their head on the other end is handling the stress of having a lot of opportunity and making the right decision as to where to go I'd rather have the stress of moving up and trying to figure where to go than the stress of not knowing where to go right and that's the thing is that in a great economy there are those those employers are more and more competing for the workforce they're competing for for employees and and that gives you the opportunity and yeah you may be kind of. Out there you know in terms of art it's wide open and that for a lot of people is scary Yes You know it's it's I think for anybody who's looking at it and being intellectually honest. It is you're going to say that's a bit intimidating it's frightening changing jobs a scary even when you've got something you're going from one job to another job and you may be moving up it's it's stressful it always is. But it's what's required in life to get ahead better than the alternative yes to move you know on to a better place and you know that's the whole idea is you know you go from here to it and then you prove yourself there and then you move either on within that company or you move on to another company and and that's the idea you prove yourself every day and you go and yeah it's going to be hard but I think most people would look at that and say you know give me a chance to go out there and prove myself but it's tough because what they also do what we do more and more is what we want to big government and they want a big government without it being an intrusive government you can't have one without the other and that's the problem that's what impedes you on the net individual basis that's what stands in your way the cost of regulation the cost of all of this which has companies making decisions more and more to automate or to do something or outsource or do something else. That that is not hiring you well you know and talking about because the one caller is talking about the you know the economy we're going to condom in the politics of it you know that if you've lived in both places and I haven't my long life I've lived in both places where the economic development is there and with the economic development is not you can feel it you wonder if you've lived in both places if you've only lived in one place and only experience one thing it may be commonplace when you've lived in places that are depressed as to places where the economy is booming you know the difference you can feel yeah yeah 866907333986690 right I get in touch with what i Radio. Hey guys thanks for taking my call the bill that is the best money can buy you love that we need to rewrite that and send them to the progressive liberal communist Democrats and he can buy your power. Because they tried like crazy to fight that seat in the 6 congressional seat Oh yeah I remember the 1st oh yeah yeah money is not going to buy Oh yeah well if a message all rolled over again talking points not changed right they have no plan it's just like the guy said Shut your buddy defiant and conquer the country which we're good at it you know back a 100 years ago that divided the world and conquered the Democrats you don't realize they got to come up with a plan and as long as they keep on trying to divide and conquer us they are going to keep on losing yet and you guys are so right well and as and when you consider And thanks so much and when you when you continue to promote doesn't matter you know we talked about the fact of the cursing and I don't know. How we sensed it way back when but it was it was just it was a week when it was 3 or 4 different circumstances where we said what's going on here all these Democrats are cursing now when could cause this be a thing where were they they feel that it's Ok repeated the same message thousands of times it doesn't seem to be working we you know repeated it we had tons of money for Hillary it didn't work you know we repeated the message again a 1000000 times and it still didn't work what are we going to do won't maybe if we curse they'll be more urgency to the message maybe it's the sense of urgency to the message of parents not how many times we have you know shown that impression out as they say in advertising the impression that people get some maybe it's the intensity we need to be just more intense. But be more intense and the. Work. Join the conversation using the word Tell it to the hotline 866-907-3339.
