Even peaceful going to. One of the. Dead is someone's. Ok well this is the bench of heroes for the lot coming up for you this hour a little bit later on in the hour we'll be talking about the Time magazine person of the year we'll also be talking about the i.g. Report so the inspector general of the d.o.j. Testified in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee today it did not go well for the f.b.i. So all of the media headlines about f.b.i. Exonerated Trump entirely wrong Yeah that's a bunch of crap and Michael Horowitz basically took that myth out to an Iowa corn fields slammed in the back about with a shovel and put in a hole so we'll talk about that but we begin this hour with You Tube promulgating new guidelines with regard to the kinds of videos they will tolerate Now I know that there are a lot of people who listen to the radio like what does it matter what You Tube allows Well the answer is that the left has created monopolies in a wide variety of areas of information dissemination Hollywood is entirely a left wing out what the media as we all know are virtually all left wing with the exceptions of the Wall Street Journal editorial page The New York Post perhaps. The fox news outlet on cable news and talk radio right as about it and on the Internet. On the internet conserves have had more success with letters trying to reestablish its dominance in the way they're doing this is by attempting to downgrade content they do not like what they do is they have these very big standards and then they say that you have violated the big standards Well You Tube is now doing this routine and they haven't actually implemented their standards yet so we don't know what the implementation looks like but they have set up a set of guidelines for what sort of content will be allowed to be promoted on You Tube And let's just say that I think great you know I have friends over at Prager University and they've had their content to monetize they've had some of their content taken down for simply stating factual things about the nature of reality. The difference is between men and women for example well now You Tube is basically openly saying that they are going to ban content that may be conservative so according to their official blog they say they have ongoing work to tackle hate whenever you see people say tackle hate you are so good how are you defining hate because according to the left everyone on the right is hateful everyone if you believe the Bible your hateful if you believe that men or women are different your hateful if you believe that not all disparity is due to discrimination your hateful So here is You Tube's take over the past few years we've been investing in the policies resources and products needed to live up to our responsibility and protect the huge community from harmful content this work is focused on 4 pillars removing a violent content raising up authoritative content reducing the spread of borderline content and rewarding trusted creators thanks to these investments videos that violate our policies are removed faster than ever as a review our policies on an ongoing basis we are putting forward some new guidelines according to you we've been taking a close look at our approach toward heedful content in consultation with dozens of experts in subjects like violent extremism supremacism civil rights and free speech based on those learnings we are making several updates a 1st of all I'd love to see a list of people they talk to I would love to see a list of the people they had conversations with regarding white supremacist violence extremism civil rights and free speech my guess 99 percent of them are people from like the Southern Poverty Law Center so here is what they say. In 2017 You Tube says we introduced a tougher stance toward videos with supremacist content including limited recommendations and features like comments on the ability to share the video this step dramatically reduced use to those videos on average 80 percent said they were taking another step in our heads which policy by specifically prohibiting videos alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination segregation or exclusion based on qualities like age gender race cased religion sexual orientation or veteran status This would include for example videos that promote a glorify Nazi ideology which is inherently discriminatory finally will remove content denying that well documented balance events like the Holocaust or the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary took place. So the examples they're using are things we're pretty much everybody's like Ok Well You Tube has no duty to keep those videos up as a threat to to quote unquote free speech not to keep the bit like what I ban them I would and I would allow everything on You Tube that falls within the guidelines of the 1st Amendment but I don't run You Tube they're allowed to they're the private company they're allowed to set guidelines but if they actually wish not to ban mainstream conservatism they're going to need to find this because again their policy is now prohibiting videos alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination. Now what if what we are actually talking about is superiority or superiority at a thing so for example let's say that you were to make a video on why it is that all the members of the l.b. Are men why it is that all the members of the n.f.l. Are men and you say Well it turns out that the reason that all the members of the n.f.l. Me and I'll be are men is because men are built differently than women and perform differently athletically and so be foolish to try and compare the 2 is that bannable under your policy after all you are now alleging that men are better at those sports than women are that's an allegation that also happens to be a fact and that would explain a disparity we had a hotly fraught debate last year over why wait is that female soccer players are paid less than men and there are few facts that are relevant one men are more fun to watch because men are better at soccer the Women's National Soccer Team last scrimmage is to high school boys is that going to get a video of this ban from youtube if you point out for example that men are not women and women are not men and therefore men should not race against women in women's sports because men on average are not women and women are not men not only on average ever is that discriminatory against transgender people because that's a hotly fraught debate is it not and one in which the biological facts suggest discrepancy so is the new you policy that every disparity is attributable to societal discrimination is that the new policy and then if you buck against that and suddenly you have violated their hate speech policy let's say that you do a video like a video that I've done where you take just polling statistics on how Muslims globally thing and you say globally more not even a critique of the religion more Muslims self identified Muslims globally believe extreme things and self identified Christians or Jews is that me alleging the superiority of Jews or Christians over Muslims or is that me citing statistics that exist in the world and that make a point about the connection between ideology and religion. I mean like is it is that bannable on You Tube quite unclear according to You Tube standards that's the whole point being deliberately vague is the point of the standard so you can just ban stuff on the moment on and on for a moment and it gets worse what gets more of You Tube's policy here in a 2nd because this is the policy the left would love to see by the way not just promulgated at You Tube but in American law eventually the left would like to see hate speech regulation that mirrors all of the sort of stuff. That just one second 1st let's talk about the earphones that you are using to listen to the show are you using the old fashion your bones of the wires you know when you put it in your pocket they're all tangled you take them out you need a sword to cut them if you cut them you know or getting more Instead you should be using red cons or let's say that you have the really expensive you're about but your last one you don't feel like shelling out a fortune from your buds why not go over the rake and they just released their best model yet the each one of the 5 there's 6 hours of play time seamless Bluetooth pairing more bass and more compact design that gives you a nice noise isolating fit reckons wireless your buds are incredibly comfortable they're perfect for on the listening end for taking phone calls I love my read on where was your buds and unlike some of your other wireless options those ear buds don't have any dangling wires or stems get 15 percent off your order today it by Ray Kahn dot com slash then again that's be you I r a y c o n dot com slash meant for 15 percent off break on wireless ear buds by re Kon dot com slash then go check them out right now and get that 15 percent off when you use that website by Ray Kahn dot com slash vendetta great pair of your buds that is not going to cost you a fortune and will sound great Ok so as I say you've policy here is deliberately vague and they suggest that they are going to update their system to stop recommending non authours head of content how do they define off the word hate of content presumably the same mainstream media outlets that lie to you on a regular basis and it's winter news also they say that they are now going to go after what they call borderline content borderline content now what exactly is borderline content Who the hell knows. They say in addition to removing videos that violate our policies we also want to reduce the spread of cons and they come right up to the line well since you've not to find the line what is right up the line look like it's in January we've highlighted pilot had an update of our systems in the us so when the recommendations of blue line content and harmful misinformation such as videos promoting a phony miracle cure for a serious illness or claiming the earth is flat we're looking to bring this updated systems more countries by the end of 2019 now get the examples they're using are non-controversial things that You Tube has an obligation to post videos that the earth is flat not a lot of people but what if borderline content is exactly the kind of content that is politically fraught what is poor line content is exactly the kind of content that You Tube deems to be dangerous but that ends up being at the center of our political debate I mean this is the real question and again I don't think that this thing stops you policy I think what the left would love to see is these sorts of regulations promulgated on a broader level and so this is had consequences in Canada for example if you cite the Bible you cite Leviticus on homosexual activity you can be prosecuted in Canada the same thing as happened in Britain if you're on a street corner you're shouting words from Leviticus they can haul you into court is that what we want in the United States of America because there are those on the left who do want this there was a State Department official who actually from the Obama administration actually came forward and suggested exactly and it was Richard Stengel actually came forward and suggested Richard Stengel that the that the Free Speech was in the United States be rewritten to mirror Britain and Canada which is completely outside the u.s. Is 1st Amendment tradition. Dangerous stuff we're playing with fire here and listen You Tube's a private company they can do what they want but they're setting up a real opening for competitive sources if they continue to crackdown on content without defining exactly what exactly they're doing Ok in just a 2nd we're going to speak with channel from The Washington Examiner shows a couple of good pieces about impeachment and the i.g. The Ben Shapiro show weekdays from one to 3 pm right here on Radio this is a great country the people came before us are great it's that water point the Democrats that now and the people who came before us had greatness in ways that we don't have and we stand on their shoulders that's what makes the country great a little bit of gratitude we go a long way but Democrats can't acknowledge their American public shut your problems Democrats acknowledge the American public the Ben Shapiro show weekdays from one to 3 pm on one of 4.5 f.m. And am 950 k. Hi. Welcome back this is the bench here I show so the Democrats now put forward their impeachment charges the charges are vague they are unsubstantiated they do not rise to the level of even a crime let alone impeachable offense writing about this has been Siana low she writes for Washington Examiner she previously interned for National Review founded the u.s.c. Economic Review Jenna thanks much for joining the show for having me so you have a piece out in the last couple of days about the Democrats and their impeachable offenses What do you make of their characterization of what constitutes an impeachable offense so the big mistake is the lesser of the charges were written and more of their inability to appeal to public support you know you saw the early uptick in support for impeachment that would be typically get to the contrary that primarily Democrats and Liberals finally agreeing with the Democratic party line but help what they have picked for something but they have been unable to make any headway with swing voters in particular but I'm sure I'm going to save the child presidency in 2020 and it was only because they've been they haven't had the actual strategy of how to fill in the public purse but it was a quid pro quo and then it was a store chain and then it was bribery and then we now just realized that the only thing that would resonate in the public would be abuse of power but at this point it's kind of too well yeah and even their abuse of power charge is too big because the charge that they're using is basically the Trump ignored or injure the national interest well I mean that could basically be thrown at nearly any president who had an eye toward reelection and virtually any activity that had an impact on reelection. Exactly and also the abuse of power Thanks so I understand that it is still legally dubious how if that are not impeachable offense must also include a criminal act or components of a crime but I think that we all know that that if you're going to try and press forward with an abuse of power charge you need a little more to end the evidence than that what that had obviously the White House is making it difficult because they are blocking that the ferry witnesses but you know you have gone way with the only one who is able to attest to any sort of actual abuse of power with cat knowledge and said we have a lot of witnesses who want secondhand Quentin have the blue dress Nixon had the tape we just don't have that here and Democrats have failed the focus thing on the fact that that you know if you have the songlines have the money instead what the for having very NAVL are bringing out angry for president think that what the public I think don't think I don't know went over a single vote in the country with I mean even the argument that there's an obstruction of Congress going on is empty considering that it's not connected to an obstruction of justice claim so obstruction of justice actually happens when the judiciary declares that you have to comply with the subpoena and you say no that's obstruction of justice every other impeachment that is mentioned obstruction of Congress has also mentioned obstruction of justice but in this particular case the Democrats have overtly stated they're not going to go through the judicial process in order to get witnesses would be more relevant to their case because they feel that they have what they need right now which obviously is also untrue which means that the Democrats seem like they know that they don't have the goods here and they're just going to try and ram this thing through as fast as possible get it off the table so they can tell their base they did what was necessary. No I mean that's the obvious 3 here because the bank if they can wait what how I mean nor yet but it would probably be one month or 2 before that they would have to wait if they actually wanted to obstruction of justice charges if the White House then refused to agree with a court order but instead they won't do that and because they know that they won't be able to find the goods you know there are necessary witnesses that they have that right and they there are there is an American citizen and who with any meeting with the lens when he was strategizing how does the current Rudy Giuliani's efforts to get them to influence the 2020 I want to say and they have not called that man was also an actor but I didn't appoint over that by not by their aim of talking but I don't call him a they haven't complied with most Republican but quest for witnesses. That show trial no no questions are being answered and obviously Democrats want to rush this through and I think they're finally decided not because they realize they will not which was going to you know lo of Washington Examiner says you know you also have a piece this week actually today about the abuse of the Pfizer process the media have read the i.g. Report from the d.o.j. On the Pfizer process and on the Trump rational collusion investigation as an exoneration of the intelligence community I don't know how you can possibly read it that way given that the report itself suggested the Pfizer process was not just abuse that was taken in the back and beaten have to death like a redheaded stepchild I mean. It's amazing that there are 17 separate errors that were noted by the i.g. As you today testified directly that he cannot rule out bias in the Pfizer process itself and yet the Democrats are claiming that the f.b.i. Has been exonerated in this whole thing. I mean this should this should really start a bipartisan outrage that the f.b.i. Is able to run it is able to buy on American citizens what made up war with made up charges and read at a quicker pace they would know a matter of if this would ever happen it was just when the courts had been corrupt from the start if you look so there were 1300 I don't warrant approved by the 5 the court rockier well me 2.5 courts that were outright rejected. And in which I do appear in as there were 3 or 4 separate Lawrence put out on quite a page and each one new evidence providing probable cause to be proven in order for the in theory but now we know that not only was it not prevented it was not true then you think doctor or bad information and it's easy to dunk on credit page to get clearly he should not have been wandering out of Russia accepting money from anyone and gave it to him but there was not evidence that he was a Russian agent and the fact that its own country was illicitly surveilling him that is a civil liberties travesty and you know. The f.b.i. Is performative victimhood here and step it up 1st of course with Lisa changing James Comey acting like everyone I was the apologies when the inspector general report said that everything they did should be condemned because it removes the public's faith in the f.b.i. And one of the things that's been so astonishing about watching this roll out is the is the decision by the media to cover it in precisely these sort of opposite terms the president trumpets a president from suggested from the very beginning that the f.b.i. Was out to get him the entire thing was initiated along false auspices that's not what the i.g. Report found now we do have John and William Browder saying that they disagree that that this thing never should have been found in the 1st place but the i.g. Report basically said listen all you need to launch an investigation is sort of the thinnest of reads this constitutes the dentist reads they're for. We can launch the investigation the media have covered this as by saying Well Trump was wrong about all of this he was never really targeted but it becomes pretty clear that even in the rosy scenario under this i.g. Reports Yana that even if this thing was was initiated in good faith it quickly morphed into a get from campaign by certain members of the f.b.i. And they started bending the rules insanely quickly and yet it is even more telling is the fact that all of these errors both in the eye politicians and it's actually investigated and they all cut in one direction is that a coincidence I don't think so we already know that means. That all the of political bad and I'm not questioning the integrity of even of the top majority of that but it's clear that a coterie of people with Pivotal I guess information you know Peter Struck with texting Lisa Page pushing for them modifying. Your application to surveil quarter page because there were no way that it would be harder for them to start the Russia investigation without the fight as well quite so yes I mean I think we can both agree that the goods were there to initiate the investigation well well road that motivated by part of the actors who are correct in what should have been a necessary investigation absolutely Ok well Tianna really appreciate your insight into all of this the impeachment as well as the the i.g. Report she's a commentary for washing who's Amery can check out all of her work over and Washington Examiner to thank so much for your time thanks for having it and well coming up we're going to get into that i.g. Report Michael Horowitz testified on the Hill today before the Senate Intelligence Committee it did not go great for the f.b.i. And Michael Horowitz exploded some of the left's favorite myths about his own report because that momentarily listenings the bench character. Peers 5300. 00 extension 262 verify whether. If you only watched coverage in the mainstream media the inspector general report the opening of the Trump Russia collusion investigation and the pursuit of that investigation what you would think undoubtedly is that President had been excoriated. By the report that basically Trump had suggested the f.b.i. Was how to get him I know the f.b.i. Was clean as the driven snow when you had editorials from James Comey saying the people at the f.b.i. Are hardworking and so am I And yet every McCabe coming out and saying I've been exonerated exonerated Lisa Page saying I'm going to sue the f.b.i. For even putting my text out there well then you read the report and it's like. Not turns out that this investigation was promulgated on the basis of a very very slim read and that this thing was started on the basis that George Papadopoulos a low level Trump foreign policy and a conversation with a man named Joseph Smith's it was admits it was suspected of being a Russian cutout and that said said something about how he could hook up the Russians with the trunk campaign and Papadopoulos bragged about this in front of a member of the Australian Government they funneled into the f.b.i. And that once the investigation the investigation quickly turned into a get Trump operation I mean this is basically the reports as it turned into an operation where the f.b.i. Was in order to get a Pfizer weren't page another low level trim foreign policy aide they basically relied on the steel dossier a compendium of garbage put together by an mit former m I 6 Officer Christopher Steele who hated Trump at the behest of fusion g.p.s. a Firm hired by Hillary Clinton's law firm in order to get dirt on Trump and that that was then filtered into the f.b.i. System in news as the sole basis of the FAI's warrant against Carter page and not only that confidential human sources were used by the f.b.i. In order to infiltrate the Trump campaign the term campaign was not warned about any of this they suspected there are too many inside the from campaign who are working with the. And these confidential human sources were not even run past the d.o.j. The d.o.j. Was not made aware that the f.b.i. Was using what could only be term spies against the from campaign William Barr the attorney general points in August yesterday and people lost their minds how could William Barr say such things William Barr came out and he had said already in a statement that he disagreed with the idea that this thing was founded on decent auspices arse's know the f.b.i. Watch this probe on flimsy evidence he was raked over the coals what a partisan hack William barristers Barr presidential campaigns are frequently in contact with foreign persons and indeed in most campaigns there are signs of illegal foreign money coming in and we don't want to magically assume that the campaigns are in the farriers traders and acting in league with foreign powers there has to be some basis before we use these very potent powers d.n.r. Or 1st Amendment activity and here I felt this was very clumsily Ok so far says this People go nuts how could bar say such a thing he undercutting his own f.b.i. And then bar ed from camp who was clearly spied on I mean obviously you know confidential human sources being used you had people being wiretapped on the basis of a bad buys warrants that's called spying clearly spied upon I mean that's what electronic surveillance is I think wiring people up to go in and talk to people and make recordings of the conversation she was trying and I think going through people's emails which they did as a result of the prize all right they went through everything you know from the from pages life she wasn't in the campaign at the point we're now going to surveil Yes but his e-mails were called back. Again what he's saying is true but people went nuts over this nuts and they specially went nuts when Barr said listen if you're talking about threats to democracy and are constantly talking about Trump and Russia in office seems like kind of a threat to democracy to have the entire f.b.i. . Spying on from me to at least having top members of the f.b.i. Greenlighting bad activity in order to go after a presidential campaign in the middle of the campaign here's by talking about the Obama administration I think probably from a civil liberties standpoint the greatest danger to our free system is that the incumbent government used the apparatus of the state principally the law enforcement agencies and the intelligence agencies. Both to spy on political opponents but also to use them in a way that could affect the outcome of the election as far as I'm aware this is the 1st time in history that this has been done to a presidential campaign Ok so all of this is true but people lose their minds people lose their minds one of the reasons they lose their minds because of term frames when Sandra Trump always takes the bumper sticker version of the argument and then puts it out there the f.b.i. Also says multiple undercover human spies to surveil in record people associated with our campaign look at how they've hurt people they've destroyed the lives of people that were great people that are still great people their lives have been destroyed by Sky Ok by Sky Ok so all of this led up to Michael Horowitz actually testifying in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee today and they are here's the problem his testimony does not help the f.b.i. It does not help people who are critical of Barr and from his testimony was pretty damning So Lindsey Graham leaves this thing off Senator Graham and he says what happened here is that these irregularities eventually this amounts to a criminal conspiracy because if you've got everybody in the upper echelons making mistakes in the same direction at a certain point you've got to say something suspicious is going on here so for a moment less assume that there was a lot for predicate to open up a counterintelligence of this to get. What has been described as a few irregularities becomes a massive criminal conspiracy over time to defraud the files of court to you legally surveil and American citizen and keep an operation open against a sitting for his in the United States violating every norm known to the rule of law Ok well that happens to be true and then forwards basically backs it up so where what is asked what was relied upon in order for you to do this this Pfizer warrants in over the f.b.i. To pursue the phase warrant what was relied upon and he says straight out what was relied upon was this compendium of crap called skill dossier put together by fusion G.P.'s at the behest of the Hillary Clinton campaign and then filed through various auspices including Bruce or at the f.b.i. From his wife Nellie to the f.b.i. I mean that is not good stuff still dossier it turns out was just garbage was just garbage top to bottom we'll get to that garbage in just one second 1st let's talk about the fact that every 3 months or so you'll see some celebrity who has had their phone hacked and their new photos put out there so will number one don't put nude photos on your phone too if you are going to do anything that you don't want hackers to put out there or use then you really should be protecting your internet activity and this is where express v.p.n. Comes in here daily where you see you know thousands of dollars a month on Internet security you can certainly afford you very well monthly fee Express you can will charge you to protect your online x. There are a lot of people who are looking for that online data I've been talking about Express we've had on the show for quite a while you know by now that it's important protect your data you may think it doesn't apply to you it does Bottom line you need to protect that data head on over to express v.p.n. Dot com right now and here's the good news when you go there when you go to express d.p.n. Dot com slash then you get an extra 3 months of express v.p.n. For free you can protect your Internet today with a v.p.n. I trust to keep my data safe and secure head on over to express d.p.n. Dot com slash Ben and you can get started today that's express v.p.n. Dot com slash spend an extra 3 months of express a v.p.n. For free and protect your online data from people who would be looking to take it from you Ok so here is Michael Horowitz i.g. Of the Department of Justice. You know basically spelling out there yet still got yet a compendium of garbage that suggested a trip was peed on by Russian prostitutes and all of that that was used exclusively for the Pfizer warrant. The 'd Crossfire Hurricane team obtained information from Steele's primary sub source in January 27th that raise significant questions about the reliability of the steel reporting this was particularly noteworthy because the fives applications relied entirely on information from the state from the steel drums or from the primary sub sources reporting to support the allegation that he was coordinating with the Russian government on 2016 u.s. Presidential election activities Ok well that is not good news I mean it supposedly when they originally created the Pfizer warrant you had your was they had all sorts of other extraneous information in the field of the still Garcia was crippled there is a much better information out there turns out now and then Horowitz is asked whether he can rule out political bias on the face of war so he says he could rule out political bias as far as the initiation of the investigation but on the bugs one could he rule out political bias the answer is no can you say it wasn't because of political bias on on the students regarding those fison matters I do not know their state of merit this point so we're talking about actions now trying to figure out what would motivate people. Again that played pretty he can't rule out the bias he does say there was no political bias in the decision to open the probe but that's what I've been maintaining all along just because there was no biased basic beginning does not mean that it didn't more quickly. We determined that the decision to open Crossfire Hurricane was made by the then f.b.i. Counterintelligence divisions assistant director Bill priest and that his decision reflected a consensus reached after multiple days of discussions and meetings among senior f.b.i. Officials we reviewed department and f.b.i. Policies and concluded that assistant director pre-stamped exercise of discretion in opening the investigation was in compliance with those policies We also reviewed as we detail in the report the e-mails text messages and other documents of those involved in that decision and particularly missed the steps and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that indicated political bias or improper motivation influencing his decision to open the investigation Ok but just suggesting that the beginning of it was not overtly bad does not mean it didn't quickly morph and although it's been laid out all the way to more and more it was asked specifically the f.b.i. Director James Comey says he was vindicated and rose like no he's not been acquitted nobody's indicated. That a terrible job Comey I have total confidence that the cause of process was followed that that entire case was handled in a call for responsible way but d.o.j. India you know I think the nation and I think the notion that Pfizer was abused here is nonsense I want to be fair to say that you take issue with that statement and certainly our findings were that there were significant already Komi speaks about files that you shouldn't listen. He should listen to Mr Horowitz he's not been Akkad it and to be concerned about the fires and what process is not nonsense and forwards then goes on he says Listen Carter page was not treated fairly you know all the talk about how Carter page was a Russian spy it turns out that that was falsely predicated he says page basically got a job by the intelligence community if you like Mr Page was treated fairly by the Department of Justice in the f.b.i. . I don't think the department justice fairly treated these Pfizer's and he was on the receiving end of them you would not want to be on the receiving end this would you I would would not want agencies or anybody failing to put forward all the information they're obligated to tell the court and then I would says listen you have to be I failed his basic obligations on Baes he goes even further just like their most basic obligations you know to uphold the rule of law not by like the 4th Amendment yet didn't do that. Much to ensure that all factual statements in phys applications are quote scrupulously accurate close quote. These are the standards for all flights applications regardless of the investigation sensitivity Regardless I'm sure and it is incumbent upon the f.b.i. To meet them in every application. Nevertheless we found that investigators failed to meet their basic obligations of ensuring that the Pfizer applications were scrupulously scrupulously accurate we identified significant inaccuracy as a no missions in each of the 4 applications 7 in the 1st application and a total of 17 by the final renewal application Lipsey Maybe that's why Trump was suspicious maybe just a little bit already and you take a moment for a minute is a whole other words the radio show you know this already daily Wired dot com right now we have that perfect gift for you to give this holiday season it's the gift of meat and also all my colleagues here at the daily where you can get a daily where membership from now until January 1st all insider plus gift memberships will be 25 percent off as a great deal that means your loved one will get all the fantastic perks plus the majestic leftist or somewhere and you receive the savings you can listen to all 3 hours of the radio show on demand when you become a daily wire Insider You also get show and about well show and Michael moles show and let's talk with us you can ask all of us questions through the mailbag which we answer on our shows as an all access member you can also take part in our awesome ask me anything Sal discussion feature you can logon and talk to me other host writers even special guests So right now 25 percent off all insider plus gifts memberships this holiday season give them the gift they will thank you for all your while or give yourself the gift of happiness at daily Wired dot com slash if you get 25 percent off your membership in the bench. The thought of my sons growing up without me inspired me to quit smoking I talked to my doctors and then I threw away all my cigarettes Astra's and lighters I started exercising instead of smoking staying away from alcohol when I was 1st quitting whisky I kept on trying something to do whatever it takes no matter how many times it takes we did it. For free help called 1800 quit now a message from the u.s. Department of Health and Human Services at c.d.c. . Oh maybe she's not your arm around town get ready for the heritage the graphene she might be. No doubt about it no doubt about the k. So we're here talking roses Yes we are goddesses is a 9. Point 5 am I'm 50. Ok so good news at the Lakers game of United go there is a singer name like really not been familiar with and she was wearing like I don't know where you get this particular outfit where is this outfit available because it seems like not a great outfit to be honest with she was wearing what appeared to be a dress that covered her front then she turned around when she saw she was on camera and it turns out that she was wearing a thong and she started shaking her rather empathy which is not. You know uniforms in many sizes but she says she begins shaking her her groove thing while wearing a thong in the face of the camera to be put up on the Billboard So she basically does a stripper act and she's talking on a billboard if you can see this here she is getting in some and then suddenly you have her working doing a fully sexualized work in a thong at the Lakers game and people laughing and cheering the hysterical joy of all of this now if you point out that you probably should not would you want to have strippers again like strippers again actually working on the dance floor would be bad right there lots of kids in the crowd it's not appropriate for children the fact that this is considered good behavior is beyond me or this is empowering I'm confused why it's empowering more than shameless and shame seems like a bit like guilt guilt seems like a perfectly fine thing if you're doing something that affects children if you if you get naked in front of children at a Lakers game it doesn't seem empowering as much as it just seems like you're being incredibly self-absorbed and not thinking about anybody who's eyeballs are on the screen but in any case this was seen as a sign of body positivity specifically because she has ample right because she is not a skinny woman because she is not a in shape human being this is now seen as empowering because she's comfortable in her own body but wasn't I'm glad for her that she feels secure in her own body she's made a lot of money off of her talents I don't know her talents because I'm not familiar with the work but the fact that this is now seen as a form of empowerment let's put this way if you're an overweight person and you're required was taking off her the back of her dress and shaking her rather large but in a in a thong in order for you to feel better about yourself I would suggest that you surround yourself with family and friends who care about you because no No Ok other things that I hate today so Megan Rypien Oh was given the Sports Illustrated. Person of the year or athlete of the year not a shock she had a great women World Cup Also she happens to be a political figure and Sports Illustrated has become affectively speaking Time magazine with basketballs and you know just like yes pm has become m s n b c with footballs so Sports Illustrated gives the Sports Person of the year to Megan Rapinoe deserves on the sports level not really deserved on the political level and they get exactly what they deserve Megan Rapinoe then rips into Sports Illustrated which actually put this under things I like frankly because I do like this I think that when people get exactly what they deserve it's quite wonderful So according to media she got up and she said and apparently they say as one of just 4 women when the Sports Person of the Year award she wasted no time in putting Sports Illustrated in the hot seat saying in an acceptance speech is the truth that I'm only the 4th woman serving in this award I don't think so is it true so few writers of color deserve to be featured in this publication No Is it true so if you women's voices deserve to be heard and deserve to be read in this publication I don't think so so she's been given an award for her social justice activism and she immediately swivels and Cox the people giving her the award suggesting that they are in fact a bunch of success that they haven't given more awards to women in the past so 1st of all I just said I think that on a comparative level she's deserving of the award who else would be deserving of the award last year there are a few other people maybe but the fact is that she's as deserving as anybody in her sphere right if you are ranking people by their sphere if you're just going to go like athlete of the year like best athlete of last year it would never be a woman like literally ever the reason being the bell curve for physical performance when you get to the very edge of the bell curve is all men because men are built differently than women but if we're talking about in the respective sports people who are important to their particular industry of course Megan Rapinoe deserves the award with that said the fact that she is now dictating to Sports Illustrated how they got to staff at its worst only is amazing to me and I kind of love it I kind of love the fact that these Sports Illustrated s j w well idiots who are like making. You know we have to get with the war because she hates trump she talks about gay marriage she says that America sucks Jhilmil for the oh my god so much here a wing so much heroism and then she's like Well how about you guys you guys yes. The brutal vicious racist white patriarchal sexist you need more women writing for your magazine Ok gotten it I think that she should be maybe editor of Sports Illustrated Sports Illustrated you now go all the way they've been called out by a person worker than they are and that means they she should be the honorary editor they matter the honorary Sports Person of the year in part because of her politics why not put her in charge of your editorial policy you can fire all of the writers who are male who are good and you can hire women whether they are qualified or not and then you will have achieved some sort of real parity that'll be great in November of last year by the way she won the glamour woman of the Year award and then she went after glamour to write she said well I'm enjoying all this unprecedented and frankly a little bit uncomfortable attention Ok 1st of all the idea that Megan Rapinoe is uncomfortable with attention if you believe that I mean really. Your head is as empty as it as an airplane hangar in the middle of the day if you believe that that Megan Rapinoe is uncomfortable of attention this is a person who is attention seeking beyond all people but she says she's enjoying all of this unprecedented and frankly a little bit uncomfortable attention and personal success in large part due to my activism off the field Colin Kaepernick is effectively banned she says I see no clear example of that system being alive and well and me standing before you right now she said this a glamour the fact that she wanted a word I may use this opportunity to rip on glamour because you guys didn't do enough. Here's the thing once you give the straight W's an inch they won't the alligator will eat you it makes you less but the faster you get in the in the alligator's crosshairs by the way the faster you're in the wind of sight of the s.t.a. W. Alligator The faster you're going to get it and Sports Illustrated got the treatment glamour got the treatment what it were of it I only hope that Megan repeated continues to do this I hope she continues to wipe the floor with all of the s j w editors who worship at her altar and then they come before her to kiss the ring and she immediately slaps them she backhands them across the face as if only you were more well if only you were more Wolk I think the only the only automatically under under Article $29.00 of the Constitution of the United States she has now become the editor of Sports Illustrated it's sort of like the sort of like the old code of chivalry that if you if you had a fight with somebody if someone throws out throws it's the king's justice you throw down the gauntlet if you have the fight and you get to take the other person's land I things like that if you invite Megan or Peano to receive an award from me sure seems the award and then she beats the crap out of you she know and here's your magazine so she should be the editor of Sports Illustrated and glamour she should be the ombudsman of e.s.p.n. Why the hell not she knows better than you because she plays soccer and is a warlock you deserve all of this Sports Illustrated every little bit of it is a bench hero show. F.m. Wonderful point Funny 3 c.m. . Am 98.
