This is America's sports talk show Sports Byline USA Here's Ron boy. Time to check in and go inside the game as we do each week with Brian Billick and of course you see him he does a great job on the n.f.l. Network check out that show on Wednesdays at 6 pm it's really insightful It's called Play Book and of course Brian the head coach of the Ravens when they won Super Bowl 35 against the Giants I just wondered what your immediate reaction was Brian when you heard our least read the comments from Houston Texans owner Bob McNair You can't let the inmates run the prison What did you think well it wasn't fortunate comment I mean Bob McNair is one of the. Most genuine. Owners there is I mean he's just genuinely a good man and and certainly it's regrettable you know in terms of saying when you say it who of us is not made that observation at times with regards to you know a number of different circumstances you know it's regrettable obviously with time the way that people reacted to it. Also I'm wondering about the n.f.l. They seem to shoot themselves in the foot an awful lot what's happening is is are things unstable in the National Football League have they been kind of caught by surprise for some of the things that have been happening in the n.f.l. With the concussions and then the nailing and then something like this yet seems like there are a few things that that it cost them a little unaware that they in hindsight could have handled it better going all the way back to the right situation the Tom Brady just and obviously any time you now take that into that level where you're going to get the lawyers involved the union ball takes things in a wholly different direction in terms of the taking than the obviously that's going to get a court and so many different levels for so many different people and you have owners that are going to be diverse in their opinions on it. Compares the n.f.l. Versus the players so it's one of those things in this particular instance I'm not sure what the absolute right answer is but certainly the n.f.l. Is having a tough time getting that message across to where they're going to be on the trading deadline is come in the n.f.l. And I never really understood it like I did with baseball tell me a little bit about how important it is and what was the strategy for n.f.l. Teams when it came to the trading deadline Well typically you don't feel a lot of praise there's a least you get used to I can't remember as many trades. That have happened this year any other year normally it comes to go and players I'm really not a huge amount of consequence but you see a Jimmy go up alone going to San Francisco you see going brown going to Seattle Seahawks a great pick up on the report and of course the Cleveland Browns too but the Cleveland Browns. Rage antechamber Cincinnati then forget the quality and. How do you do that I mean what is it about that organization that they can't even function right well the 122 I think that you know death our good friend Denny Green always used to say you are what your record says you are well I think one and 22 kind of sums it up it sure did let me ask you about the garage below Che Jamaica's that was an interesting one because he was the backup to Tom Brady What do they do now if Brady goes down with an injury. Well that's an interesting question and the fact that they would make that trade now obviously New England felt like they were going to get the top in the you right now in making the trade but you're absolutely right to now not have anybody a brutal substance course we really don't know how good Gropple 0 is and let's go back to the time that Peyton Manning within the Indianapolis Colts they were years and years. Never really had a backup of substance because the you know Bill Polian the mentality was look if we lose Peyton Manning we're done there's no way we're going to proceed make the playoffs alone go to a Super Bowl so you know why put in a backup that's going to help your baby win one or 2 games different be a lot of different opinions on it and doing when you know it could be the same way look at Brady goes down as good as Crapo is we're not going to want to championship with you McGraw floor quarterbacks so why not go ahead and get value for him and from San Francisco standpoint you know a lot of conjecture about who they're going to take this makes clear cut who they wanted gives them the chance to actually give him some playing time getting used to the system in his teammates I think it's good for San Francisco and obviously only giving up a 2nd round try draft choice doesn't preclude you from using the 1st pick or the 1st round to get a quarterback if you like one of these college guys coming to you actually kind of getting Gropple and tryout period over the next 8 games to find out if indeed he could be the guy and also he's a free agent is he not at the end of the season could he not go back then to New England after it's over with it could now use when you get a trade do you think you had communication with the agent and to put some kind of contractual. Obligations in there as well particularly that's going to be long term because then you can just agree not to take the trade you can make it difficult for the team that require you it's not worth it but technically yeah you're absolutely right he can finish out the season and if they decide not to pursue it they don't before then put together a contract together he could very easily go back. New England or in his case better Yeah I understand that stipulation his contract is I will stay with you as long as I don't become a stain in the grass Yeah exactly right good that's a good clause that. You know what I think about the New England Patriots they've had other backup quarterbacks that people in the lake have gotten excited about and gone off to another team and then it didn't work out what does that tell us well tell the fans that's if the Patriots it's I mean Merc there are very few players I mean Brock ops one or the most recent one you can go all the way you know he believes his reporting with experience taking a back up had limited experience thinking he's going to be you know the big player for you come in and be that starter and it be it does that's when going from Green Bay obviously into Seattle and then on to Oakland So yeah it's buyer beware and Jenny crop won't no reason to think that he can't be a good quarterback but really I like to gang now good solid games but even try to buy a Super Bowl caliber team too so you have to judge exactly how you're going to fit on a team that doesn't have that kind of talent around of yourself taking a bit of a risk and yeah you really are because the 40 niners with their injuries now adding up they are just a terrible football team and speaking of injuries I know you and I talk about this every year and it's a part of the game there's no doubt about it but am I again I come up with the impression that this is the year in which a lot of teams are suffering and when I look at the 40 niners and they're going with guys that were were out working for u.p.s. The week before. Yeah it's it's and when you get to this point obviously it's very difficult because there's not a lot of players out there not like there's going to be someone just waiting in the in the wings to come in and bail you out whether we see more injuries or not I don't know I'm sure they'll have those facts and put those together they feel that way and some of the nature of the injuries and of course with the concussion protocol the more more and we get the more we're aware of it so we're kind of source sensitive to it as opposed to actually more numbers Brian how did you in any assisting coach deal with the lack of continuity when you do have injuries I mean in some cases these teams are really hurting in key positions I'm not talking about the skill positions I'm talking about being able to protect your quarterback with a guard or a tackle out never eating and I'm seeing more and more this but how do you create continuity when you don't have the players to do it well you don't you know you try to fill in where you can and the whole mentality of next man up and you foster that Cheney can you get that the players understand what we're going to have in your like everybody does and because you don't want to have a devastating injury during the course season and all the sudden it's oh my God what are we going to do now even though that is a legitimate response team like the Baltimore Ravens has just been ripped with vigilance at every position on the off inside the ball the off and so long they're down to their 2nd 3rd and 4th running back the receivers it's a rotating door Suzanne and that's tough want to Joe Flacco that lack of continuity you know fortunately you're not the only one everybody in the league gets injured to a degree but getting into the playoffs and the going on and winning the Super Bowl is no small part is attributed to your ability to stay healthy 90 seconds left and as you know the end out of his eco alley and season the latest is that he can be suspended now by the n.f.l. And if that comes to being he will now miss the Cowboys games against the Chiefs Balcones Eagles Chargers Washington and the Giants and he could return by December 17th against the Raiders your read on all of this. Well you know if they've been prepared for things no they could get to this point at any time they've been able to hold a lot they're playing well as of late they're going to have confidence now for Morris and McFadden to come in obviously that's not an easy call Elliot doing a bit on this on our show playbook this Wednesday about kind of a straightforward style of running attack very few people are just straight downhill the way they are the doubt Cowboys are of course they've got the off and the line to do it I don't know that Morris and McFadden are those types of back so their running game may alter a little bit more a few more traps a few more counters that clearly that's going to put it on the shoulders of that Prescott their ability to continue to win manufacture often with more of the passing game being their anchors in the running game I'm sure they're prepared for it I'm sure they thought about it but clearly going forward that's not the easiest the schedule either so it's going to challenge him in about 20 seconds what's the marquee game of the week for you well you know there's so many good games coming up but for me and again I'm going to be kind of go go home here a little bit I think the game with the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans simply because of where the 2 teams are both desperately need you know the Ravens are formed for coming off a good win against Miami the Titans search for 3 actually having to keep up with the Jacksonville Jaguars I think that in terms of the outcome of the game is going to be one of the big ones I think the Broncos try to salvage their season and go on to play needles is going to be a big game as well and obviously the number one game is probably the Chiefs looking like they're back in stride and $6.00 and $2.00 playing those $4.00 and $3.00 cowboys that are without it the feel of it Oh Ok thanks a lot Brian we'll talk to you next week Brian Billick again check out playbook on the n.f.l. Network at 6 pm on Wednesdays inside the game is the name of the segment Brian breaking it down for you know we continue on Sports Byline. Are you ready for Auburn New c a c. Dominic can hear joins us on Sports Byline former pro soccer 7 player won 54 caps playing for the u.s. National soccer team and he also won 4 m.l.s. Championships as the coach of the San Jose Earthquakes and the Houston Dynamo as well and Dominick I want to have you on I want to wait a little bit to let the dust clear on the United States being ousted from playing in the World Cup in 2018 because I think there was a lot of emotion which is understandable about what happened but I think reality has probably begun to you know set in a little bit and I thought you could help clear the air and help the fans out there and people to better understand where we are with soccer in this country. Well Ron let's be honest I think when it 1st came out you're right emotions are running high and supply profile people were absolutely throwing everything against what happened in Trinidad and what happened in the past but the years before that some of it was correct I think some of it was emotion driven I think the overall underlying factor in which comes the forefront it's a huge disappointment not to make it to walk up and. It sets us back I think in this country quite a bit because I think you're going to lose the medium soccer fan 2 to fall in the World Cup it's been unfortunate not really unfortunate because in the end the last to turn that interim that is a huge blow and I think the way it happened with it was an unlucky loss it was a loss and I think it was one that was rolled more deserving by Trinidad I think it really raises a lot of people's eyebrows and brought maybe what people feel were underlying problems to the forefront the resignation of Bruce Arena unfortunately fall of that I have great admiration respect for Bruce think he's a wonderful coach but that also I worry for digging a little bit deeper they're going after the u.s. Soccer presence no colossi the structure or the youth development as far as pay to play many things were brought up and see double legged thrown in there as well so a lot of disappointment everyone kind of fell on the sword as they say but for me in the end you want the World Cup to be involving the u.s. You want the lympics to be involving us and I think that for us is a huge stumbling block right now Dominic What do you think the process needs to be from this point on. Well I think right now there's not a whole lot of meaningful games friendlies I think that are going to be an interim coach I think we'll you know we'll see what happens in every election for a new u.s. Soccer president that's coming up in the near future here a lot of people are asking for change there I think the u.s. Soccer presence is not just overlooks the men's team but also the women's side I think soccer has progressed a tremendous amount in the last 10 to 20 years thanks and you have been a wonderful job and I'm not some meals camp by any means but just looking back from a far I think is that well I think what's the next step for us run of qualifying to fix I really do the under 17 team is doing well they've all come right now we've all we've done well fairly well known the twenty's now that this would be the 2 cycles in a row we've missed a lympics all by World Cup So our progression at the under $23.00 in the full national level as come to a little bit of a stall I think the 1st things 1st is getting get into lympics I think all our efforts have to go through that because it gives young players international experience and I think when you look back at the success of the men's national team that was. There was preceded by good performances in the Olympics I think those 2 go hand in hand so for me 1st things 1st of all 5 to 20 puts back on the right track and I know we have some very talented young players coming up but I you touched on something that I think is important and maybe you can amplify it for the listeners about American soccer has to find a way to get away from the pay to play system a dominates youth soccer that that is one that bothers me as well. Yeah you know it's I think when you go on he said it's not going to disappear in time and I think Ron the paper play is not just in soccer but it's in every sport now you know and I think when you get to a good level of competition there's travel costs or so tell cost equipment costs so take the players not just for soccer I think it's all across the board an animal to put them through the sports. Does the one thing take place does negate is possibly that for people you want to say to 40 people or not it's come from a wealthy family or from family they can afford it you're going to miss out on some inner city kids who we all know can be wonderful athletes who can grow into good soccer players so there are some scholarship programs that are involved in some youth clubs along the way but maybe not enough to involve everybody so sadly the pay to play even though I don't think it's going to Spirit does kind of exclude a certain amount of people from possibly progressing in the soccer world but I think now when you think about it it's a it's a you know I would take the white collar sports kind of thing in that momentum to head that way and along the way you're losing a lot of good kids just because of the cost and not being able to travel I know we talked one time about this I made the statement not seen in other sports particularly in football that teams take on the personality of the cities or in this case the countries that they happen to represent if you think of Germany in the way they play soccer if you think of the Dutch the way they play what is the personality of American soccer in is unworkable at a high international level. Yes of course that is I think the elephant success we've had in the past if you look at the makeup of the teams. And the one thing you can say style but every role whatever you want I think the the grittiness and the toughness of the u.s. Teams in the past that part of the makeup of this group I think was very inconsistent I don't I can't say I wasn't there because he saw it in some games and some games it didn't and it was it was really disheartening at times I think a lot of people come out really criticize the team I can say that yes I thought at times at times I didn't so for me that was the worrying part was it was a little bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team that was going on wonderful at home not wonderful hold a very good at home but a little bit lost on the road and I think to call 5 for any World Cup and to be good you have to be good away from home and I think some point out the only game they want to waste moment all qualifying was the way I think to Turks and Caicos are Martinique and eyes that make sure which should be a lay up in my eyes and you think about it your country's hopes are resting on the game in Trinidad you would fancy your chances no one the grit and determination of the u.s. Team I think in this game that's where our Jekyll and Hyde side showed the bad side of it and therefore here we are talking about right now you know another thing to Juergen Klinsmann was criticized for relying heavily on German born dual citizens to qualify and play in the 2000 World Cup but he really didn't think there were enough quality players in the United States and then Bruce Arena was brought in which was kind of a comeback bring back type of coach what type of coach should we have or need. Well I'm a little more of a homebody I think the American coach is someone who understands the American players but also I think it's a it's a bit of a bastard I hate to say it on air but. I don't know I think you're right I think you're absolutely right I think when you think what happened Bruce Bruce's way of managing players is wonderful he did win the Gold Cup which I think was a huge success for for our team last summer so everything is going the right direction. But I think maybe a fresh look of someone who obviously is and has a good knowledge of the American way but also I think is. You know when you look back progress and Bruce in his earlier days were a little bit more you know put the pedal to the metal and ask a lot of the players I think we do need to get back to the basics of hey this is a hardworking country there's a hardworking we have different nationalities but the one thing we can't forget is the core of our success which is unified our working group and I think at times like I said before repeating myself we had that and we didn't have that in the coffin and I think it definitely showed that if we can get that consistent basis I do think there is success coming the future Dominick you know as well as I do people listening around the world does this program and particularly here in the United States are going to be listening to you and say you know you make an awful lot of sense what about Dominic Kinnear's the coach of the u.s. National team. Well. People would put my name forward I appreciate that very flattering I have a job to do here in l.a. Galaxy and I all I've always said this and I've always meant that if I'm sitting here looking for another job I'm not doing the best of my knowledge before painting so if it were to come up I'd be surprised by it but what I'm doing now is priming the l.a. Galaxy better at the end of this year for next year you and I have been friends for a long time I'll start the rumor on the show here and keep it going Ok. We only have a couple minutes left but let me ask you a little bit about the style of play and the young people coming up the young players we have coming up talk to me a little bit about the stars on the horizon for u.s. National soccer. Well the 1st thing that has to come to mind is Christmas to a sense and I think you know when you look at the roll call fine you know there was a good problem and a bad problem a good problem was we had a 19 year old who seem to be our best player a bad problem was got a 19 year old and seemed to be our best player you know so but the kids an absolute star I you know people ask all the time you think is that Landon Donovan that remains to be seen because he is short of Korea but I think at this point is pretty play for a team like Bridget Dorfman the sky's the limit for this kid he shows it every every day and I've talked to a couple guys who have played with them and they have nothing but good things to say about him so for me he's at the top of the list 100 percent I think you look at someone like telecoms that who plays f.c. Dallas you look at the way I think is that the understanding right now I think is Paris St Germain the scoring goals and the street names kind of come up top of my head so the future is bright I think for us soccer it is a definitely a dark time right now where I'm not going to argue about it ever was appointed I think when summer time comes up next year it's going to be a stomach all over again but I think like I said if we can get around to this next round of what the qualifying and give these young guys from good top international experience only goes well for the future Dominic I want to thank you very much for giving us your time and your insights as well I've always enjoyed our conversation about this sport and just in general I appreciate I'm going to stay in touch with you because I want to follow this I think it's an important thing that we the really get back on track and we do it the right way as we move forward Thanks a lot Dominic Braun my friends all part of the n.f.l. It's great talking to you Dominic a near again former pro soccer player he won 54 caps playing for the u.s. This is America's sports talk show Sports Byline USA Here's Ron but. Ricky Jackson joins us on Sports Byline a member of the Hall of Fame and he is the 1st member of the Hall of Fame to be inducted primarily for his contributions as a New Orleans Saint 15 years in the n.f.l. 13 of those 15 with the New Orleans Saints but he picked up a Super Bowl championship ring and one of the 2 seasons with the San Francisco 49 er's and Ricky I'm just wondering you waited a while to be inducted into the or to be picked to go into the Hall of Fame and I'm just wondering how hard is that weight. You know I'm on a should be and. You know me I look out a lot I'm a great guy who you know was deserving to be in there and they had to wait so. Not Make the way the most other you know I mean one you know and we should be. You know we just have to go a long way to cause a lot of golf when I should be there but I can tell of a marsh very you know I mean I had all the stuff the lead all the linebacker then everything and they forgot him before me who didn't have any stats that. You know they seen fit to put me in the form of an account to make you angry but. For you to get is you will get it you came out of the University of Pittsburgh and they certainly had a good team there and they had a great defensive team there they were ranked number one nationally back in 1980 tell me a little bit about the team what was the catalyst of the success at the University of Pittsburgh with that team. You know you know a guy like me. Who will always just as good as the guy who gave all the publicity to a nest of people to know on stand by that thing you know to get. The guys you know that was going to be successful but they had a lot of work to do you know the play with those guys you know I was looking I'm too so when you get there going you know you create a good team some tar and I did Marino was a quarterback and a team musty bribery have brought about going to team to hear about me you know just like you got Russ going to go on and all the whining you know he was on offer us a lot you know next May And you know about a game Oddly all the credit children all that I may have a fear play you know with those 2 I do you know who are the better player and I know who are the more. The manipulator because I wouldn't practice we would rather see them play all the time and I know who are the brunt of the 2 for. College proved but you know if people don't see that they get a credit too you know the ones who called the school. You know this is a look at. My whole 'd career you know 4 years of. You know I No wait I will put you know. In about over us a little because I want to guess. You know a movie with a bit of novelty going on the external stuff when it come and they just go along with who the coaches have you know you mentioned to me as we were getting started here that going to the San Francisco 49 is for a couple of years was very instrumental in you getting a family chosen for the Hall of Fame how so Ricky Well I mean you know Larry you know a lot of the state in the valley and then strength is what services go ahead about a lot of for me giving you this Super Bowl going now you can deny me you know because you say you know me and you don't have a chance or a week to hold them out what you know I mean you get the chairmanship weighing in now it was a room full of them got the better stats and their bodies I may have just like Mark a dip we're gathering all the fighting who don't want to step out of the meeting and they're apparently go or so on and that makes it hard for you to understand then you know whether they door you know I mean here you go again you point guard them before me and I have all the stats and stuff but what you were born of are you know I mean I thought you know football about what you did on the field but you know sometimes even the politics so just up the man just you know known to all of us don't know tensions if you wait you know be ready when the time calls you remember that same same dome but troll which was a 4 man linebacking corps which the n.f.l. Network by the way ranked as the best in n.f.l. History what was the catalyst of you guys of all of your success at that position all 4 of you hours of work around. All of the leave of an Arab out of the. State of Missouri would mean a bout of the word try to keep up with me so that temporary things. Got there and they see my work in a motor. You know they had to keep going to try to make big plays and you know they have a house on Cause you know that's always Chris Mike and you know you had to try to win and lose that it will be we what we're about. We want are going to get them so was to try to shut him out of the game of the for so we had a chart of. How frustrating was it to be in such a dominating team defensively but then the team never really had overall success because of some of the lack on off and. A little frustrated when I tell you I can't win a game and the difference in the game for me and as well I looked at it you know I mean I used to be frustrated with also have a some time you know. You get frustrated to do those 2 because one game we put up for one process we still have to lose in the game so games like that you know you get frustrated with the difference and I mean so you know sometimes you know you bring it on often because it happens so minutes of truth remember playing a little different because often got a sort of a pause and that's all we have a feeling that we need what you want to want we lost a couple games out there got us to a war Well those those years and not New Orleans like out for you I mean what do you remember most about those years they're all the fans love the me ring they came to the game to see me to came to the game the real going to get behind me and come out and have a whole lot of this just 'd like just like the. Them out of for the Super Bowl has come out there was just just like and just crazy just before I know the San Francisco 49 ers and that whole environment probably at least the West Coast environment was a little bit different was it not. Yeah I mean just when I went there they have also to Omaha to put a team like that if you. Can and leave it at. Me like that together when I went out there a man to have you know Jerry Rice is the I mean just look at a different. Part of the French government all pro and I mean they're going to say Mike Murray Hank you know the sound man. Better go on the other side I mean all 4 of those guys. You know sit down guys and then you come with a different line of these of line and put together with the right of them arming it which is also a link in on your pommel. I don't know how to learn to put a team like that here. And the offer that they had during that period of time Ricky I would have to made a lot easier for the defense because once you got the ball back into Steve Young's hands you knew that with Jerry Rice and the rest of that team in the running backs that they had that they're more likely going to go right down the field and score which will put more pressure on the other team and then the whole problem. You know how in the long haul Rick you want to want them all he want to be a superstar Jerry Rice is already a superstar not oh God didn't want to wait their turn you know I mean they came out they want to be superstars right off the bat to know me they want to catch up with Jared too for we already knew you know to share with us to stop a man ritual a lot of you know you got a Williams lawyer out a whole lot of them got them down and came along to get publicity and they wanted the ball too so that created a problem on the ball to use it when we got to the Super Bowl I mean look at his goal was to on a one you know right off the bat you know 3 string to go to 1st 1st 4 alone but we didn't have too much on it and tell you a little just way that they turned. The down sick of the last. The lonely you know ones who want to force. People to listen to ages that the child put in the 1st or the just humble you know when to for service of the about the bikes or the word about the wanted word about themselves enough that we had on a chain has and you know we had a great scene where they had a lot of air was getting nasty would get into air bout of wanted some sort of just plan to rule us out I went with. It was Jim or your coach down in New Orleans. Rocco's. Years Well the reason I say in the middle of the war drought to me fright 1st for years the reason I say that Ricky is that you really had opposite ends of the pole did you not you had George Siefert when you got to San Francisco which is kind of a laid back kind of professorial type of coach and then you had Jim Morris who was known for his outspokenness I'm doing what I'm a man of I don't know what he didn't like and I'll use always you know he kowtows to understand you know the type of god know what he'd like you know for the minute you know just like in Dublin the gayety and all the stuff I know he didn't want to get a loan and it was a thrill to me because he don't know what it meant to me I really liked him but argument of the code so. Big a hole to be called we walled up with a gate you don't know because we don't know where to begin with that so I know they've got a thing that you know Sam Sisko called me so great and we've that chapel you know we all celebrate or gave it all that he don't know what I've been through Overall I'm new to the move and trying to get there so close because of what it meant to me you know 'd. How were those losing years with Dorman's I mean how did you get through them because there was always the pictures of the with the fans that had the bags over their heads and the aims and everything how does a player get through a difficult period like. Now before I got to why I got it when 'd it was people. People out of the phrase that. Well I mean when I got there were gone for the week we started people of them just you know a lot of a lot of fuel was normal not what I wanted How intimidating was the domata teams that came in there because I think about other teams that will go into a field of. I remember talking to some of the old Minnesota Viking players when they were up in Minnesota and played outdoors an old Met Stadium and they said that any time a West Coast or a warm weather team would come in and have to play outdoors in Minnesota in December or even late November that they couldn't wait to get back on the airplane was the dome that intimidating as well variables for them to win and please are you going to play football where you have we have man pressure an income of 2. 100 s. Now I gather a little have heard you with the world you and I were the whole what we call to the SUV with you in a no good because. I have a corner bike you are God not even blocking me. I know you know me. Look at all the flame and I notice. That this lady and all those I mean and I just look at you know luckily glad knows what I did to those and then you know I mean Republicans give some. Are going to go with me in the Super Bowl when the crowd making that kind of noise and he can't keep up with me they have no chance of keeping up with me because the crowd always a lot they don't hear the snow till tomorrow then has to be them all to call it a day and he can catch up with so in a crowd all made of great. For me I must do what your favorite career memory Ricky . Well hi Terry. More one of our own time and I got genocide almost out on the out of the top of my game that was the most last thing to do he will do he will the take a side if you will if he was 'd talking too much means to get around a coma. Before he can get rid of the ball almost like being against even on the stand. They get run a cone and get a little more sound of that with the stretch is true there but I didn't do this was it hard for you to walk off the field for the last time because you really played the game with great passion. Well I want to. Close up again where I was to go the 2 miles through and. With our eyes go off in 15 years again 15 years and after that. They're now the mismo again from Boston to run and for some games you know without having to worry about missing a game the law that played every parent you know where the couple are Michael was a Russian biker played a role been in a body so one thing was you know I had a going to get me a suit will raise him assess the meaning to him on the. Anywhere I'd like me and I was going to have the top so Bob saying I had them play for 2 years and then that's I could have did you know prove it. All Ricky Congratulations on your induction into the n.f.l. Hall of Fame deserve it by the way I know you waited a long time but good things happen to good people and not only are you good person but you're also a good outstanding linebacker I used to watch and I used to marvel how quickly you came off the off the line of scrimmage. I appreciate that and I can't wait to see what's there to declare nobody going to be the best with 0 I know we have a little left for me too so it's. Always be a lot of the see him again and gets asked to you know we're on him again so Ok my pleasure to see him again Ok Ricky Take care and thanks for joining us Ricky Jackson Hall of Fame linebacker now we'll continue with more of you and America's sports talk show.
