Investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 u.s. Elections not to my understanding no Mr Comey also says he has no regrets about how he handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton's e-mails and it caused a whole lot of personal pain for me but as I look back given what I knew at the time and what I've learned since I think it was the best way to try and protect the justice institution including the f.b.i. Mr Comey also adding that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch directed him to describe the Hillary Clinton e-mail probe as a matter and not an investigation British prime minister Theresa May spoken in Maidenhead in England regarding the u.k. And wherever you might be across the country and around the world I'm Ron Barr good to have you with us for another edition of The Sports Byline you have a good day or do you think about Game number 3 last night in Cleveland it went about the way I thought luhan my mind really deserves some of the blame on this did you see the minutes that were played by Le Bron and Kyrie 46 of the 48 minutes played by Le Bron 44 of the 48 minutes or Kyrie Irving and so when they got down to the final 9 minutes of the game they were out again. And that is when the Warriors took over a course in Kevin Durant's is just a game changer there's no doubt about it but the whole warrior approach when you have especially somebody like Thompson who was on last night as well and the way the Warriors were hitting the 3 points particularly in the 1st quarter when they hit 9 of them there's just no way you can stop that and they're not getting any support at all out of their bench at Cleveland so I'm not surprised at the Warriors and I think unless I'm very surprised I think the Warriors will have a lot to be motivated by to be able to close out this playoff in 16 straight victories something never done before but if you take a look at the minutes when the Brawn went to the bench for just 2 minutes the warriors went on a 100 run and in the final 9 minutes of the ballgame the Cavaliers didn't score one point not one point. But a lot of talent there and for those people who say well they went out and they bought it I'm sorry I don't buy that that's just part of sports today players can go anywhere they want they can make as much money as they want and I have no problem with that we're going to spend the hour with Jose Conseco a young man I say young he's older than when I met him 1st he was a rookie with the Oakland A's when I met him the 1st time and of course you know the story with Jose polarizing controversy Oh both those words applied to him but he's going to join us we're going to talk about his 2 books juiced and vindicated he spent 17 seasons in the majors they now have those with Oakland also in Texas Boston Toronto Tampa Bay the Yankees and the White Sox he played in 4 World Series he won 2 of them one with the A's one with the Yankees and lost 2 with the A's He was the rookie of the year in the m.v.p. Has a can say Go has joined us on Sports Byline Jose a correspond 17 years in the major league starting off with the Oakland A's and that's where I 1st got to know him and then stops with Texas Boston Toronto Tampa Bay the Yankees and finally the White Sox and he finished his career with 462 home runs played on 4 World Series you want to of on one with the A's one with the Yankees he was a rookie of the year in the American League and a 6 time all star it's been a long time since we've seen each other you look great. By the minute on that growth hormone. Telling the last time we saw each other was doubt the Super Bowl many many years ago when I was down in Miami another time you know I invariably ask authors this question and I think it's probably most pertinent with you I always ask him at some time in the interview what was your motivation for writing this book and so I put that question out to you to kick this thing off I've been asked so many times and finally I get to tell my side a story finally I get to tell the truth I get to talk about my life without you know some media personnel doctoring it or blowing up a portion or lying about it or not telling a story at all so this was my way to finally fight back you know 17 years the media portray me as a. Is this how you know Hell's Angel this domestic violence individual this very aggressive in the video just was at the nightclub and just beats up on people I mean I finally got the put my story down on paper straight from you know myself to the book and straight to my fans but some of the things that you have done do you not understand that the media is going to take advantage of something like that while I salute Lee But you know I'm going to send the media blowing things out of fortune but completely lying about certain instance that actually happen in my career that's not right let me go back to the conversation you and I had I don't know that you'll recall it was shortly after the gun incident where you were at the doctor's office it was underneath the seat of your car and you and I were talking about that and you and I have always connected on a pretty good level and I asked you about it you said to me Ron in my culture carrying a gun is like you carrying a wallet Well I think in the American culture in general I think everyone has the right to bear arms I think everyone has the right to protect themselves and you can remember something wrong back then I was you know the best athlete in the world is the compass the 4040 acquired the largest contract in baseball so I definitely thought I had a need to protect myself and obviously we saw how the media worked back then where you know exactly explained what happened with with that incident it was completely block proportion to the point where the media I mean made it look like I was just a gunslinger bring in this gun to campus just pointing at people it was crazy it was absurd an absolute lie the other thing you told me is that you are judged in this society meaning the American society by how much you may and I thought that that was a very telling statement and you said that there at that time I remember you said that there was racism in baseball Well I would apply that more to a double standard absolute North bits about and obviously today you're being judged by them and you know your financial advantages and then your physical I've been just you know we see now the advances. You know you've got steroids you've got growth hormones you've got cloning you've got both plastic surgeries everybody wants to look perfect and everybody wants to. Lead a perfect life and I mean I don't know what that says Frost society nowadays that we're so that we're so superficial but it is a problem one of the things that I want people to understand about this book and about you since I've known you for a long time is the background you emigrated to the United States back in the seventy's with your family can you give people some idea about Jose Conseco the Conseco family very boring and. Middle class to for a family just like just like everyone else we migrated 1965 my father saw an opportunity come over from Cuba United States because I think he knew the political situation in Cuba that it was not going to get any better. Coming to the United States My father was a very hard worker he was a perfectionist I talk about this in the book work 3 or 4 jobs and then to make ends meet at night he worked a security job at the there and our forget that but as a father he was a you know kind of a black one individual he he wanted things perfectly he wanted the best for his family but you know sometimes parents mean the best for you but really don't go and don't know how to go the best way around it what was it like for you and your brother Ozzy we were we were twins and we were you know we were hell on wheels sometimes but in general we were kind of quiet shy kids my brother being the more aggressive the 2 in a sense of he was more you know venturous than I was and obviously you know at the high school always sort of realizing these things that you know I was extremely shy strongly quiet I was an extreme an interviewer when my brother was a lot more outgoing and those early days was it hard for you to assimilate into the American culture No not really because we were thinking year and a half or 2 years old we can with United State Ok so if we were brought up in kind of. American eyes environment you and your dad I understand would one of baseball come into your lives we'd never really. To baseball series in the sense of I never thought I would make it a profession I never thought I would make money in the sport of baseball probably So I got to the minor league level and when a way shape or form I mean growing up I mean I grew up with players like Danny taught about Rafael Palmeiro Jr about us being 00 is Greenwich at these times and they were superstars there we had asteroids over their head as major league superstars I never thought in a WW years I would ever nonetheless make it to the minor league level but then go on to make it to the major league level and then accomplish so many things especially not write this book it's amazing that things come easy to you Jose baseball wise. As your big year talented obviously I don't think so I don't think so I mean and going back to the high school era and then even prior to that I had a physical problems I was I think I graduated from high school I was 51150 pounds I had major back problems and heritage for my father had scoliosis degenerative disc disease arthritis you know I found out later on and my career in the sense of in the minor league level what steroids can do for you your mom how did she factor into this because you were very close to her very close just like any children are are to their mother mean my father was the disciplinary and of course the perfectionist and my mother was the one who tried to solve everything at times you know soften the blows at times and you know my brother myself we always clung to her when it was always a problem and you know in our family I guess our mom was the one that you know let let us get away with little things here and there and our father would be the the strong arm definitely yeah now your dad is I understand as you're coming up in baseball kind of bribe you a little bit for home run. He did he said something well when you get to the on the minor league level the main level every time you hit a homerun when you $5.00 so I say well that's that's pretty good because I see at the minor leagues this year I'll make $600.00 and $5.00 per home and kind of kind of adds up but even though back then I wasn't really I was a power hitter but my father actually how funny he kept that going to will to my last day as a major leaguer which which is great he kept that promise Yeah I remember meeting him one time over the Oakland Coliseum in spending a little bit of time with him there your mom how did she feel about you playing baseball my mom was very old fashioned like from the old country spoke a little bit of English she was a stay home type mom and she never really watched any of my games she never watched any of my minor league games obviously and you know she was kind of like a mom who didn't understand baseball in that sense and didn't really understand sports so she was just a stay at home mom who just took care of us it's interesting too because a lot of people do see sports as a road to somewhere did your dad feel that way and because of the other other Hispanic stars that had been in baseball that you alluded to earlier did that play a factor in your drive to want to be a major league baseball player I think from the very beginning there really wasn't a drive from the very beginning I think my brother myself we really helped a little of not telling whatsoever I think we just played baseball because we were too little and too skinny to play football we were too short to play basketball I mean think about it you know you think of White Men Can't Jump Cubans can jump less . So I mean I think baseball was the only outlet we had to play some type of some type of organized sports your brother Ozzie a sibling rivalry there your twins What was that relationship no no no a source like Mark McGuire and you Jose where you were is green the same thing no we were 20 brothers we go along quite well I mean at times even your best of friends you can have a misunderstanding with or or not agree upon certain things but weird with their family brothers where did baseball take on the serious bend with you then when my mother died that's when you made the comment too or I'm going to best absolutely absolutely that you know it's a story in my book which is it's hard to talk about but when I saw my mother on she was I came back from Nessa California and you know my sister told me Come home come home something you know Mama sick and when I saw her on her in the hospital her bed she was brain dead she was gone and something just came over me right then and there and I told her you know crying and you know I was hoping she could hear me and I told her that no matter what it took no matter what what's going to happen I am going to become the best baseball player the best athlete in the world because she never got to see me play baseball period and I always wanted her to get to see me play baseball was a Can Seiko has joined us here in the studio the name of the book of course is called Juiced Wild Times Rampant roid Smash Hits and how baseball got big we will indeed talk about the book in the next segment as we continue across the country and around the world we've got you on America's sports talk show. Jose Conseco is with us here in the studio and again the name of the book is called used and it is available all you have to do is go online Ned w w w dot Jose Conseco dot com and you can order the book right there in the beginning of the book it says the public needs to be informed about the reality of steroids and how they have affected the lives of many star baseball players including me have I use steroids You bet I did did steroids make me a better baseball player of course they did if I had it all to do over again what I live a steroid a rich to life yes I would do I have any regrets or quorums about relying on chemicals to help me hit a baseball so far to be honest no I don't how did you get involved with steroids No it was such a long time ago obviously when my mom passed away promising her to become the best athlete in the world after that we buried my mom I went back about a month later to Modesto California and from there I was invited to a structure only and Arizona I then started trying to find out from anywhere any place anything I could possibly find out on how I could become a better awfully hot can become bigger faster stronger smarter started questioning individuals in gyms about steroids about growth hormones anything that they would give me about supplements about training programs I just lived and you know breathe and slept baseball I wasn't completely fascinated and completely just engulfed in becoming a superhuman athlete no matter what it took I can remember which in the book also after practice and after gaining I would actually walk 5 miles to a 24 hour fitness and walk back every night sometimes you know if I don't have strength and my legs are actually jaw gets and obviously one day I saw a claret dust I'm you know what maybe one day a beautiful twenty's carets and that's also in the book run but I didn't date I didn't see women I didn't drink at all try to eat as perfect as clean as possible but I was completely and. Actuate and consumed with trying to be a super human athlete there was a time there were you had to make a cognizant decision to cross the line and do what was legal and what was worded that moment come finally to us with off a friend of mine and he acquired some of the steroids and we talked about you know what steroids did certain athletes or parts of the body or potentially what they could do back then I what's I wasn't even as near as informed as I am today about stair was in human growth hormones and and gene manipulation and gene doping and cloning but I dabbled in I experimented with it and I made the final decision that I needed this to become a super athlete did it ever bother you though from a conscience standpoint that you were doing something that other people were not doing and that in a sense that was cheating you know at the point time I never knew the other people weren't doing it at the point in time it was so new to Major League Baseball that no one really realized from the very beginning that it was illegal but it was any type of cheating that was against Major League Baseball that started developing later on as the you know the steroid issues in the rumor started popping up and then you start to really learning about the legalities of it in the book you say when I talk in detail about steroids and how I singlehandedly change the game of baseball by introducing them into the game I am saying that everyone in baseball has known for years to all my critics to everyone who wants to turn this into a debate about me Jose Conseco let me quote my favorite actor besides Arnold Schwarzenegger that is and say you can't handle the truth why do you think baseball can't handle the truth and what indeed is the truth I don't think they're what had made it I think from the very beginning they I mean pushed this issue and this problem under the rug reason being baseball was flourishing I mean the athletes for making so much money the owners were making so much money our writers were writing incredible stories about records being broken players will see. Sion was the strongest union in the world and they would not let these players get tested because they knew that if these players got tested number one there would be No one player union left there would be any and the after the slip I one point in time I truly believe that the 80 percent of all baseball players are on some type of you know either steroids or their growth hormone either bronchodilator either some type of greenies or some type of accelerators that's how it was it's interesting when you think about it I agree with you by the way I think the baseball has known for a long time that they've had a problem they turn their head the other way because it all is about money absolutely I mean you made the comment about and I saw a comment from Barry Bonds regional recently where he says hey what's the big deal we're entertainers I get the money percent I'm the $1.00 that's been saying that for 15 years now that we are going to 10 years fans pay so much money to go out there and they don't want to see a boring game I can remember the time I think it was the playoffs against the Boston Red Sox where we were in Boston and the fans were chanting steroids we had 50 some odd 1000 fans chanting steroids and I just flexed at them and they went nuts that entertaining for the whole game no matter who won the game no matter if I had a home or not that's entertainment and we as athletes have a responsibility baseball is a money making machine the t.v. Revenues and t.v. Packages are in the billions I think definitely once the steroids issue now because my book has come out it's going to diminish the use of steroids in baseball in the sense of most athletes are saying now you know what we better be careful would better quit the steroid use and let this thing go over and let it cool down and maybe later on in the future we will because the money is so great maybe later on the future will start using some type of steroid again but for right now that this book is definitely a stops there were use in baseball probably 100 percent what do you think or what did you think the response was going to be to you doing this and how has it been true to form or opposite than what you thought has. I thought the response and I've said it before many people didn't really agree with me and didn't really know the magnitude of this book I said the response will be if I said you know it's going to knock a baseball on his butt it's going to be earth shattering when this information comes out because I'm an individual's been a ball in the game for 17 years of accomplishment of accomplishment in the game of baseball and no one can take it away all the players know me as the Gonzalez Astaire with the individual restructure the game of baseball once I want to try to do nice restructure the you know baseball twice I mean it gets their words out now if you want to look at true felons and true bad in the business game you got to start looking at the Players Association and the owners the general managers obviously are involved the trainers and managers and coaches don't mind they're just puppets because let's face it it's a very delicate situation for any general manager any any coach to come on and say well you know what this in the biggest against there was enough to stop their putting their job and in jeopardy at the time I know Tyler Russo I made a comment he was asked by Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes saying Tony if you thought Jose Conseco was dabbling steroids why didn't you say anything why didn't you stop him and he said basically he didn't even know it was going to make an effect thus the further from the truth to the realistic question the realistic answer would have been that he was making money for us the team was doing great we were winning Why break up that chemistry let me share with you when I had Tony on after the story did break I asked him about what his response was to the book in the things that you said in here what he told me so much I would say if I had to pick a couple things about him most I said one is that the accusations got paint the A's that. Whether it's Mark McGuire or some of the players I mean because they're not people when they hear. Something to it so it is real very real unfortunate very unfair very inaccurate that's a group to deserves to be honored paid tribute to modeled after the cause of the dedication to work and play in a game right and if occasion we had a slip up from you know a dramatic Jose who cheated I mean at the one bad apple in the bunch Yes thing it but really about him we've seen it for years and years is that some of these players they get very arrogant and they get to where they're never held accountable for everything and that's what you know I spoke it up because I think the team deserves to be defended the guy did the things right he's totally wrong about Mark and teammate and also because I get tired of these guys you know they break the law they say whatever error very irresponsible things very hurtful things and they get their wrists laughter nobody pays attention to them and they go about their business you know it's on us and I quickly your response to what Tony had to say I never knew until an untruth is breaking the law if the United States of America utility and you break the law there's something wrong in our system I assume he's a referring to the fact that you use the steroids Well absolutely he would back then obviously he had made it to it he made a statement saying that Mike Wallace asked him did you think some of the. Athletes back then were taking steroids and when we say Yeah I suspect it was they can say Guzman a fight to the roots a set that ice talked about in the clubhouse like nothing that I would need to work out because I had a helper he said steroids so that just goes to show you the major cover up that these owners managers coaches trainers knew what was going on everybody turn their head Jose Conseco was with us fascinating book fascinating subject it's called Juiced We'll continue with more with Jose as we continue across the country and around the world we've got you on America's sports talk show. This is America's sports talk show Sports Byline USA Here's Ron but. They can say it was with us we're talking about his book Juiced And again you can get that a w w w dot Jose Conseco dot com If you want to check out the Web site as well there has been the assertion made by a lot of people and even Tony alluded to it as well the reason you wrote this book was because of the fact that you needed money what with that the rest. That's funny because I've heard so many millions of times and also the other question is Why are you selling memorabilia Do you still need money. Let's assume that this book which it will make me millions upon millions upon dollars why should I stop why would I still be selling my marriage builders to for money what people have to understand is that I love baseball and it's fun I'm in a form I've always loved the game I've played injuries I've played 2 surgeries and I mean the average guy one back surgery will knock him out of the game I've had 3 major back surgeries and I still love this game elbow reconstruction hand reconstruction and I still love this game that bounce back every year work hard and play the game so that theory is completely beyond me how. Any individual can write a book and all of a sudden because he writes a bestseller someone says a what you need the money you know it's crazy it's crazy there they are hiding the truth and the truth is I wish Congress would come and do a major investigation on Major League Baseball and the Players' Association because Ken Cameron Eddie's general manager even said that Hey Kevin 8 hours yes he even said that I knew can come and it was on steroids and all the general manager knew so why didn't do anything about it the answers are right there in front your face of yours went open up your eyes and look that's why I mention the book you can't handle the truth because it's very obvious the other question is 462 career home runs if you had hit 500 ticketed probably for the Hall of Fame being the 1st 4040 guy would you have written this book if you had hit 500 plus home runs I think this book was in the making no no matter what I think because Major League Baseball blacking out blackballed me out again completely and just severed me from the game of baseball it just accelerate the process why did they blackball you very simple. Then you know as the godfather steroids they knew they educate all the players on on sense of how to use steroids how do you suppose went on weight lifting programs and they knew that I spoke to trainers about it and they turn their head about it they didn't care as long as Major League Baseball was making money and. After a while they lost control after a while they would look at the salaries escalate to $22530000000.00 a year they're looking at these records just being destroyed and I don't mean just surpassed being destroyed they had to put a stop to it somehow internally how do you do it if I'm known as the individual research of the game with weightlifting nutrition steroids all the players know it all the general managers know everyone knows it in the game how do you sit in a signal to the players very simple get Jose Conseco out send another signal to the players listen you guys put a stop the steroid use we don't want to make it a public issue so let's get Jose out when they were squeezing out of the game a few players came up to me and told me Jose being blackballed Alex Rodriguez being one Alex Fernandez being another and I said listen I know there's nothing I can do about it so they got me out of the game completely thinking that I was just going to go go away very quietly and the signal sent to the players wasn't really enough yet that's what I thought Why get you out of the game if unless they thought you were going to do anything like this right absolutely they thought I was going to go away very quietly and the signal will be enough to the players to say wow they got rid of Conseco He's only $38.00 home much of a $500.00 basically is an incredible physical shape we better be careful now but it didn't work it backfired on him one of the things that I have said on this program is the fact that I respect what you did with this book I think it was a story that had to be told and I was a little bit surprised that it was you but then after the conversations and I reflected back on the conversations you and I had I said Now I understand why he was the one to do it but in going after the players or naming the players you did. Were they can't really defend themselves was that the right way to do it or was it the only way you could do it by doing this book and getting the story out is the only way I could do it to make in the story obviously real and hopefully I need one of these players to come out and say Jose Conseco Stone The truth is right we need to stop the steroid use in baseball and the individuals that were responsible that turned their heads that allowed it that endorsed it that recommended it was Major League Baseball and the Players Association eventually a player will come out because now what happens when I testify in Congress I've got nothing to hide I will tell the truth what happens when all these other individuals are are subpoenaed to testify in Congress and they turn it down or take the 5th that's going to be an obvious eventually the truth has to come to the top there's not from what's about it and eventually one of these players that I mentioned this book has to come and say you know what Jose's right let's clean this out this really did happen the way he's saying these are individuals that were really involved and let's clean up the game finally once for all Congress may have to step in with an iron fist and help clean up this game do you are you comfortable with being the Don Quixote chase the windmills crusader type. I don't know if you can call me that well I mean investments you're you are on a crusade in a sense it's just great to finally tell my story I mean and this is this is a fascinating book is so educating and so interesting it's a one of a kind book and you know we are producing the movie to this book and it's just phenomenal what my lifestyle and what my life has enabled me to accomplish. Be involved with I'm telling you my life is just it's a motion picture yeah are you comfortable with being labeled traitor and all the things that go along with this type of revelation my whole career people have either love me or hate I mean we've spoken about this Ron I'm that kind of individual I'm that kind of entity where my God I love the things he does or I hate his guts because he did that I mean there's no really in between for me I have to accept that let's talk about Mark McGwire What was your relationship with him. In the beginning we're friends you know we hung out a few times we went out and then we were more queens at the ballpark and so forth but you know just like my book states we talked about steroids all the time. I know I definitely injected him he knows that you know the ironic thing about all this is that if I am telling it if I'm lying when I'm saying why haven't I been sued yet this is the most ironic thing because if I'm telling a lie and this lie complete tension damage and the vigils present earnings or future earnings or his status in society why not just sue me why not just you know take take the polygraph examination come from me and say Jose you're a liar it's obvious guys the public should really really apply common sense here the book is to truth does it come down to he said he said though in a sense it won't eventually No it won't come down to that absolutely no because when once Congress steps into place once. You're subpoenaed to testify in front of a grand jury there's a big difference between lying to the public and Lange to a grand jury you can lie to the public and get caught and it's going to happen you lie to the grand jury and get caught you're going to jail there's a major major difference so I suspect a lot of things to happen next month or so you've got to clarify something for me I've been over in the locker room obviously at the Oakland A's covering the team as well I know how big those bathroom stalls are how many 2 guys 250 pounds fit in one of those things and were you ever concerned that when you did injecting you might miss because you were cramped No no no it was it wasn't just bathroom stalls there were I mean every ballpark has certain Kravis where I go to that certain we call them private rooms where a lot of players view like you know triple x. Videos and you're in there Joe just to relax and have a cup of coffee away from the media and so forth so there are many parts of a ball park where you're going to actually go and do these things one of the other things you say in the book you say I'm especially critical of anyone who starts playing around with steroids too early when they are barely old enough to shave and not fully grown yet knowing what baseball players are what they mean to adolescence and to kids growing up the role model aspect did it ever concern you did it ever bother you by doing that that somebody would see it as a validation for something they might do as a kid not silly not what I want to see what I want to see is people think about and in every verse I'd rather have for example my child if my child is going to do steroids or the position was forced to steroids be completely educate on the subject instead of going in a dark alley with some use needles infected needles and some some bottles that you don't even know what steroids are and using improper dosage I definitely don't recommend steroids for anyone I definitely don't recommend steroids for kids who are not full fully developed yet and definitely look I stare was number one their illegal you know prescription Ok Number 2 we should always have Dr supervision and a medical supervision and blood test before you actually use steroids so there. They're very it's a very delicate chemical to use at the very careful I talked with Dr Norman Foster at the University of Wisconsin about legalizing steroids and whether they should be or not now he is a professor of pediatrics and the letter of the program in medical ethics and here's what he told me about legalizing steroids I hope so because that would bring it. Out of the basement where it's being manufactured it would allow for more testing so we would know what the side effects are so athletes could be more informed so they could go to visions who are knowledgeable about this and so the manufacturing processes could be have the same sort of oversight that we do with other drugs what do you think about what he said I grew thin because as long as the chemical is illegal you cannot test it on human beings so that's one issue where I truly believe sooner than later I think steroids related chemicals will be categorized from that they're Category 3 which is a felony if you actually have still was your position. But even then in 234 years I mean I've been doing a little missed occasion on something called gene doping and and and gene manipulation and eventually I think there will become obsolete and it was he also talked to me about the misinformation that exists out there about steroids and here's what he told me Well there are 2 con. Moral arguments seem to me. And go errant and hypocritical and the other side of that debate is really not receive much press for until the last year and then the medical facts that are claimed reports and by the leaders of the sports are wildly exaggerated you say in the book let's be clear what we're talking about a no way shape or form do I endorse the use of steroids without proper medical advice and through expert supervision that's not likely to happen though in baseball as an. Well hopefully the whole issue stops completely hopefully that's a thing of the past were after Leitz as of right now because of this book book that's come out are not using steroids period I mean in any way shape or form whether be a water basin all based a pill whether it be any type of Bronco dilators would it be in times of I mean there's even an old athlete in the past have done blood transfusion So I mean there's there's been so many things that athletes have gone through to become super have to because the money so great What's the biggest misconception about you everything. You know I don't know I've met so many different people and everyone seems to have a different opinion of mean I haven't found one person has got it right yet what is that perception that. Very intimidating. Stupid you know I've never gotten that I've never gotten that it's not I say he was crazy like a fox I mean I've known you I mean I just to put out a word I would apply to your I think you've always known what you were doing when you were doing it. Maybe a little immature some cases I mean as you get older I think you mature more and more and more but but obviously I mean I'm so they have so much more more to learn specially and life in general well it's good to talk to you and it's good to get your side of the story I think we go back a long way and we've had way back we go way back we've had some very interesting conversations and I want to know the reasons why because as I said I look beyond the surface I thank you for coming in and talking about your family run yeah good seeing you take care and Jose Conseco again the name of the book of course Juiced Wild Times Rampant roid Smash Hits and how baseball got big and you can get that at Jose Conseco dot com a very interesting man I've known him for a long time but I think he speaks a lot of truth we'll take a break continue with more of you in America's sports talk show.
